We had a wonderful experience at La Bella Calabria! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—Ivona especially went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like family. The food was absolutely delicious—proper homemade Italian cooking, full of flavour and clearly made with care. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, and every dish was satisfying and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are equally impressive, but La Bella Calabria truly delivered. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been here more than 4 times with my partner and son. And I must say never disappointed, staff is so friendly 10/10 drinks 10/10 food amazing. I love it here so many different varieties of food. You will never get bored. I’ve been for lunch and dinner 10/10 kids menu is great the food portion is great! Worth every penny. Will be deffo going back again and again! Oh and if you love drinks get a zombie!!!

First time to this Italian place and I would say is probably the best Italian in Dunstable area. Tried different ones and the food and service was much better. The atmosphere was a bit crazy because of many birthdays happening but was ok.

This place is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, and the pizza had just the right amount of crispiness. The service was attentive and friendly, with recommendations that didn't steer us wrong. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. The best food, the chef is a very pleasant person, he helps us choose the menu, we had a party for 24 people, we chose boards with food, everything was deliciously spiced and served at the highest level, I highly recommend it, it's a great place, the best cuisine, the chef Edie fantastiko👌

First time of ever visiting La Bella and can't fault it. The service was great, food was absolutely delicious with very generous portions. For a table of 8 adults and 1 child all having different dishes, the food came out all together, excellent, will definitely return soon.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere, staff are amazing and food

First impressions count and sadly this was poor. Some young man who didn't want to be there showing us to our seats was not how I envisaged my first visit. Could well have been a family member as you'd not want him customer facing if you had a choice. Food was below average with the lasagne dryer than a sahara desert, not pleasant at all. I had mussels with some 10 to 15 broken, cracked or not opened being served to me. Which at some £26 for the dish and a third of the mussels un-trustworthy to eat it wasn't what I expected. So, not for me! Hope you have better luck.

There were 3 of us, so we had a sharing platter. The spicy chicken wings weren't the best. It was very dry and not spicy. I shared my view with the young waitress, who in turn went to the chef. His response was that this is how we serve the chicken. There was an offer of a fresh dish, but if thats how they served the chicken, another dish would be a waste of time. There was no apology given, but they did remove the cost

It was a busy mothering Sunday yet service was attentive, prompt and very helpful with advice on allergies. Food was great and delivered in just the right timescale. Restaurant was buzzing the whole time we were there.... party of 7.

Fabulous lunch, 2 courses for £17.95. Attentive service, but not pushy & allowed to sit and chat afterwards.

We came in on Mother's Day and were swiftly sat down and had our drinks ordered, which was very fast service (although the drinks were very expensive!). After a few minutes we got our drinks and then we gave our food orders; Pollo Voldestana, Cannelloni Calebrese, Chef's Special Grande Ravioli, and Risotto con Pollo e Funghi. It was only a short wait for food, which was a nice surprise as it was very packed, we were expecting a much longer wait. All of the dishes were hot and tasty except for the Risotto. It was presented perfectly, Sprinkled with parmesan and coriander. However, to my surprise, it was not hot at all, lukewarm in the middle. The mushrooms were extremely soggy (I am aware they are soaked in white wine, but they should be cooked afterwards which gets rid of the sogginess) and raw. The chicken chunks however were very juicy and flavourful. The sauce itself was perfect, very well seasoned, and the perfect consistency, but I was let down by the rice also, which was unfortunately very hard and crunchy. I would have most likely asked for it to be cooked a bit more on a normal day, but as the waiters were very busy with the packed mother's day restaurant, I did not want to bother them with taking food back, so instead I shared some of the other food, which was all tremendously good. I do reccomend coming here, but I don't reccommend the risottos at the moment. I would reccommend the Grande Ravioli, it was beautiful. I will be coming back again to try some other dishes, and I highly look forward to it. I may even try the risotto again, as this could have been a one off experience. 4/5 stars, would reccommend!

We went here for a birthday. The decor is lovely. It was very busy when we arrived but we were early and there is nowhere to sit at the bar. The food is lovely and would recommend the meatball starter, the veal and pizzas. As for the desserts they are to die for. Would have liked for staff to check if we were ok for drinks. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food

Just been here for the first time for a family meal out with our 2 daughters i couldnt reccomend this enough! Food was so quick and sooooooooo nice it is a bit pricey but well worth it to get such nice food! Plus you get alot for your money and they even made me something that wasnt on the menu i wanted chicken milinese and thought i would ask and was told not a problem so glad i did as the chicken was sooo nice the kids meals were huge as well! Everyone happy and tummys all full and will defo be going back!!!

Had the a pizza and the lasagna was honestly one of the best I’ve had Only thing I’d fault was I waiting about 5/10 mins to be attended too at the start but it looked very busy but a table was available straight away and the service after that was 10/10 very accommodating with a takeaway box and very friendly! We went today at lunch time with my family and friends and it was the best time!!!! I have been a lot of times there and always the food was amazing and perfect the people that work there are always so friendly and helpful to everyone!!!! Kids friendly the park was over there for the children’s to play!!!! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and like always we enjoyed the sunshine!!!!!

It might be worth expanding the team to improve service times. That said, once we were served, everything was wonderful. Highly recommend the pasta dishes and homemade desserts—simply amazing! Perfect family place for all occasions

Went here this evening for the first time and all I can say is WOW! The service was spot on and the food was amazing, every dish we had was delicious and very reasonably priced. We will def be back what an amazing find.

Lovely evening once we were shown to our table. It was a very busy evening and we waited about 20 minutes by the door until a table was cleared. The meal was lovely! Very very nice. Full of flavour, hot and well portioned. The drinks were over priced in my opinion. And no Guinness. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was lively. Definitely worth a visit. Plenty of parking and easy access for wheelchairs.
