Sorelli Cafe in Central Bedfordshire

Poor service,poor staff attitude (one in particular,all too much of an effort when I asked to change the order due to being unaware of the sandwich board -not told about this menu),waited far too long for a cold sandwich -thought it was coming warm,had to send it back. Avo on toast eaten and forgotten about before the sandwich came back ,so ate alone . Then to add insult the bill was incorrect but lucky us we had a sum total of one coffee for free as a good will gesture.I know it was the lunch rush but a full Cooked breakfast was served and eaten on another table -they arrived after us!

Lovely staff, very tasty food, especially the poached eggs and sourdough. Great place to meet friends and have a catch up.

We had lunch here. Everything is clean and in good order, I think recently refurbished. The food was tasty and well-presented. All four of us enjoyed our meals and were fully satisfied. It was very busy today and we had to wait a while for a table for four. Alas, they won't accept a booking for fewer than five people. Service was very professional and our waitress, Paris, was friendly and very pleasant, despite navigating an obviously very new ordering system. The food came quickly and was exactly as ordered. It was a nice experience and we hope to be back there soon.

A beautiful refurbished cafe in the heart of Leighton Buzzard. It was great to visit today to see the new layout and say hi to Jo, Serefina and all the lovely staff. Food as usual is superb, all freshly made. The team have done a fabulous job with the work carried out to a very high standard. The staff are friendly and very accommodating despite them having to get use to the new equipment. The sourdough bread is a must to takeaway. The Edwards family

I met up with some friends at Sorelli's for Breakfast, We haven't been here for a couple of months due to out of the area work commitments. On entering the building we noticed it had undergone a refurbishment. This definitely gives the wow factor and as tradesman we identified this has been completed to a very high standard. Our waitress was very friendly and offered us a choice of tables. While taking our order she explained that all staff now have a hand held tablet that is linked to the kitchen to enable the food to be served quicker, however initially there had been a few teething problems with both staff learning the system accompanied with a software glitch that had now been rectified by the supplier. We were spoilt for choice with the Menu. Our food and coffee were both served within a very reasonable time. Great tasting food and coffee. We will definitely be returning to this family run buisness as we find this cafe such a friendly and welcoming enviroment opposed to the larger chains that lack the personal touch.

Love this place, always love going when I’m Leighton buzzard. Been going for years and always received the same welcoming experience and they always remember me.

We always come here for breakfast at the weekends and the standard is always so high! Food and coffee is always so lovely. We recently visited since the re furb and it looks amazing. Really stylish and as though you could be in London. Just was Leighton buzzard high street needs! Will continue to visit x

Popped in on Saturday for brunch with a friend. First time in after the refurbishment, just wow. It looks amazing and had a great atmosphere. Friendly staff with great service. Food as always was fantastic and love the revamped menu. Didn't have cakes this time but they all looked amazing. Love that you can pick up a freshly baked sourdough loaf on your way out too.

Another visit to my favourite eating place in Leighton Buzzard. Had a lovely Mother's Day lunch. Food excellent as always and service was superb, with a lovely atmosphere too. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent all round.

There are a number of coffee shops where I live ☕, and Sorelli is the most popular, you can generally get a table or wait a few minutes. Good atmosphere and nice service, enjoy,👍

What a treat to experience this café for breakfast. I really enjoyed the sourdough toast and fluffy omelette. Great service. Bakery was closed on Mondays. So would recommend coming on day it is open. Fresh sourdough bread on Fridays.

First time visitor taken by friend familiar with this eatery. Excellent pasta with prawns (starter size) and a mocha to follow. Decent value considering the quality. Lovely server, efficient and friendly. Would revisit. Little bit chilly owing to people in and out not closing door quickly on such a cold day.

We came here by chance for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. The food was very fresh and tasty, and the place has a soft Italian vibe to it. The staff were exceptionally attentive and nice, made our experience that much better! Highly recommend!

I had a sausage in a roll. It was okay, nothing special, but expensive. Flat white coffee was very good.

Used to be regulars here. Were left waiting outside looking at empty tables and ignored by all staff. Never coming back again. Appalling customer service.

The pasta is just delicious. Their desserts are all very tasty and high quality. Never been disappointed, it’s become my favorite place to eat in.

The most unbelievable pastries I’ve ever tasted, I took to my team a bundle of their in house homemade pastries in the form of almond croissants, pan au choc ale, and croissant! Everyone loved them by far the best baked in leighton buzzard! We’ll be making it a monthly treat on the first Friday of the month 🙌🏻 can’t recommend this place enough, great staff great food!!!! Perfect.

What a great experience we had with my friend and husband. Fantastic atmosphere for a friendly catch up. Nothing too fancy other than the food. O.M.G ,superb food. Great flavours,the best tiramisu cake on earth. Definitely recommend. And more likely coming back soon.

My favourite cafe in LB and there are plenty to choose from. Friendly service, great breakfast and not too expensive plus surroundings are pleasant. It does get busy but at 11.15 we were seated straight away.

My son and I enjoyed a full English breakfast. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is cooked nicely and served hot. If you're looking for a decent breakfast, look no further!

Visited here yesterday for a belated birthday lunch with a friend. I ordered the steak salad. The 4 bite size pieces of steak were very tasty. This accompanied half an iceberg lettuce, half a punnet of tomatoes and two slithers of a yellow pepper - very disappointing. Then when it came to paying the bill I passed a comment that we hadn’t ordered the basket of bread that was given, I thought it was complimentary. The waitress said is wasn’t complimentary but wouldn’t charge for it. Soon after the waitress that took our original order stormed over, clearly very angry and insisted that we had ordered it and that ‘we don’t give out free bread here’. Well, with that attitude and the fact that I paid £13 for a roughly chopped lettuce - you should definitely give out free bread! We won’t be returning.

Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with healthy portion sizes. Not too much that they're over feeding but more than enough to satisfy you after a few too many sherbets the night before. Lovely outdoor terrace too.

Very nice place the food is really good, i especially love those little almond cookies and fruity drinks. If the weather is nice is lovely to sit outside at the back. Gone few times and everybody there are friendly nice and polite.

Went today at 2.30 with opening hours displayed as 4pm close. Very empty, bad weather. Waitress threw 2 menus on the table I assumed we should sit at. Had to go and ask for drinks. Was told at 3pm coffee machine was closed. Had an over priced omelette while someone swept around us. Would this not happen when the cafe is closed??? We were clearly in the way of the staff leaving early. The chef went before we did!!! Chef??? Frankly I would prefer a McDonald's. But when food apparently finished at 3pm. Your staff were eating. Interesting meal out that I won't repeat

What has happened? Used to be lovely. Went in at 2.30pm. Advertised open until 4pm. Waitress threw the menus on the table so we seated ourselves despite the wait to be seated sign. Coffee machine we were told gets switched off at 3. Felt completely unwelcome as the sweeping commenced around us. Menu really overpriced. £13 for omelette and dry bread. I would have preferred wetherspoons. Says it all.

This was our second visit having been recommended Sorellis by a Waitrose Partner as a great place for coffee and cake! (It is, by the way so thank you for the heads up) Their lunch offer is also great. Pasta dishes come in two sizes and proved to be really tasty - we had the pomodoro and the carbonara. Dessert is limited to a ‘cake of the day’, but was also lovely. As were the homemade Amaretti biscotti. Service was top notch, friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommendable; we will certainly be returning. Just be warned, Sorellis is very, very popular so you might have to wait for a table!

Amazing staff, but what I came to rave about is the cake and baked goods. Guys. I had a slice of a custom celebration cake. Usually I would scrape off icing because people always make it too sweet. But. This. Was. Perfect. I had a perfect cake. Then on a different day I had some biscuits from piccolo next door. Are they expensive? Yes. But that's because they can charge what they want and still get people flocking. I don't think I've ever had biscuits that good. I'm adding a new line to my monthly budget spreadsheet.

Really good coffee, incredible gooey chocolate brownie and fantastic service. A family member said to me I wouldn't be allowed to work on my laptop at Sorelli. So as ever, being told I couldn't do something I went to see... The cafe was completely rammed when I arrived,even so, the staff allowed me to sit upstairs and work away for an hour whilst I enjoyed the delights served. Thank you guys! Appreciate the hospitality ✨️

Spectacular Cafe with the most incredible food, full of flavour and such a warm atmosphere. Lots of smiles, very accommodating and quick serving times with no compromise on quality. Gem of a cafe !

The best tiramisu cake I have ever tasted! I only wish I was local to the area to sample more of their menu. The staff were very welcoming too, I would highly recommend Sorelli cafe to anyone passing their door.

Just what Leighton Buzzard needs! Good coffee, best light food and pasteries in the whole town. Sensible pricing with excellent service and clean nice set up. Keep it up, will be back!

This was such a good place for brunch, it has everything going for it. The food and the coffee were perfect, and the service was the perfect balance between friendly and efficient. The food options for vegan and vegetarian were great too.

Genuinely wish I’d visited this cafe sooner. Great place for a fresh full English breakfast and an americano. Everything is cooked to order which is great to know. Sorelli is a lovely old building with low ceilings and full of character. Lots of room downstairs and up to be seated. A great little cafe with very good quality food. We shall return!

Popped in today for a quick brunch, we were seated quickly despite not having a reservation. I had a delicious smoothie, and their avocado and poached eggs with pancetta. It was delicious. My husband had one of the breakfasts. Drinks arrived quickly, cutlery and sauces were on the table before our food and the service was great!

Can’t recommend enough! It’s very hard to find a very quality breakfast and good coffee. You can taste the quality with everything you eat!

As always this place can be relied on to provide good food and good service no matter the day or time. I love the flexibility with the menu and how the chefs are willing to offer beyond that within reason. One of my daughters had a carbonara as a child’s portion ( not on the menu ) the other had a sausage and bacon buttie ( sausages a bit too herby for her ) and I had a gorgeous bruschetta with added goats cheese and pesto. Found the small bottled water a little pricey to be honest but all in all another lovely visit.

We like this place, but my partner was irritated this Sunday when we got turned away from here at 2pm as the waiter claimed that there had not been a lot of customers and that they wanted to close early. The advertised closing time is actually 3pm. I think he just wanted to get away early. He kept us waiting at the door for 5 minutes whilst he chatted away happily about nothingness before telling us this too. Otherwise, the food is nice, and there is a nice garden section.

We where in L Buzzard looking for somewhere to lunch, looked in the door of Sorelli Cafe it looked busy, but soon greeted by ,where would we like to sit including the courtyard had no idea how big this place was, so a nice day chose the courtyard, A good selection of drinks was soon offered, and arrived quickly, the Sun was moving round towards us, so we where offered a canopy/brolly. Chose our food from menu, arrived very quickly, looked and tasted delicious! Just like to say how lovely all the staff who served us where, and a lovely place, glad we found you, will be back soon.

Great food, service and menu 😋 in this lively cafe, will definitely be trying some more of its lovely fare and atmosphere. I had a full monty by the way, but there are far more interesting and healthier options available of which I intend to try in the coming weeks.

Great vegan options, just a shame they’d run out of avocado so I couldn’t get the vegan breakfast but that’s only because I arrived a bit late in the day! Had a vegan pain au croissant though and that more than made up for it! Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff - and very packed! Probably best to book in advance, if that’s possible.

Came here for lunch with a friend from work. And it's a great setting, lovely ambience, friendly service, I felt the £33 that I paid for 2 chicken salad sandwiches and 2 drinks was a little expensive.

Excellent food and hospitality.

We were on a course beginning around 10 a.m. in the Leighton Buzzard area. Spoke with the staff over the phone who said there would be no problem turning us around so we'd be out before 10. Both had wonderful, cooked to order breakfast and delicious coffee. A very popular independent - easy to understand why. Excellent staff too.

Our go to for breakfast & lunch. Wonderful, freshly cooked food. Above and beyond service. We visit every Thursday with a little one and the staff are so kind and accommodating. Piccolo (the sister takeaway cafe) is also incredible! Highly recommend the cinnamon swirl.
