The best restaurants serving Italian food in East Midlands

Lutterworth is a half way point for two friends meeting up for the first time in ages. Hadn't booked anywhere and don't know Lutterworth and Cheikhos looked friendly and inviting (and had a few tables occupied already). Ordered their special pizza (steak) and their veg pizza and we were both thrilled with our choice. Pizzas arrived hot, full to bursting of tasty ingredients and delicious. Didn't really need the rocket and parmesan salad as a side but enjoyed it anyway! Staff were friendly, quiet and helpful and gave us absolutely no pressure as we talked the night away. Couldn't finish the pizzas they were so large and filling so can't comment on the puds! Definitely coming back - and parking is only a few yards away!

We were looking forward to a neighbourly evening meal at Via Italia but were shocked and amazed by a woman, the manageress I assume, who accused one of our party of having ‘bad mouthed’ her restaurant. He was extremely embarrassed by a completely false accusation and despite explaining that he had never commented on her restaurant she still persisted. Needlessly to say we walked out and found a much more welcoming restaurant. This lady needs to apologise to the gentleman involved and get her facts strait before she starts making unfounded accusations. It could have ruined a pleasant evening but fortunately we found a nearby restaurant which restored the atmosphere.

Absolutely shocking service. Waitress put through starter wrong, then supervisor made out like it was my fault because the menu had changed and I hadn’t specified the size of the garlic bread we wanted- umm maybe the waitress should have asked. Mains came out, one carbonara was very chewy chicken, spat out most of the 6 mouthfuls eaten. On asking supervisor to take it off the bill, she stated it could be replaced without the chicken or would take half off the meal as she had already eaten it. On speaking to another supervisor she stated no manager on site, although I knew the manager was I know who the manager is. She was stood at the food deck speaking to her. On the supervisors return to me after speaking to the said manager she told me she could take my details and the manager would investigate it when in, all whilst I was watching her. I asked how exactly they would investigate the meal when it had already been taken away and put in a bin, TOMORROW!! Bill comes out and both garlic breads on the bill and two lots of cheese charged. Small discount taken off not totalling the full garlic breads. I again asked for them to sort the bill for the messed up garlic breads as wrong. They still refused to take off the carbonara as 6 mouthfuls had been eaten! On speaking to the first supervisor, I told her the service was rubbish, you shouldn’t pay for something when it’s horrid and she rolled her eyes at me. I also told her I knew the manager was there and I don’t like being lied too! The second supervisor had told me both of them were supervisors but then dated she couldn’t go against what the other one had said as she was higher than her position. Also a lie! both of them were tripping over each others lies. I will never ever go back to Frankie & Bennys which is a shame as we love it there and got here often! One supervisor very rude lady with red/black hair. Other supervisor very small lady- don’t lie to someone’s face when they can see wit their own eyes and know exactly that your lying to them! absolutely crap service and a complete waste of £61.00.

Well disappointing food, not worth the £13.95 at all. Food was shocking. Pizza like eating cardboard, no flavour to it at all. Salad was not edable. Over all poorly made and set out it was better how they had it before.

Always a great dinner for family and friends Fillet steak is delicious as is the garlic bread Been going here for many years and not had a problem with the food!

Siendo un par de OAP's tenemos que tener cuidado en cuanto a dónde vamos para un 'regalo' y cuándo. Fuimos por última vez a esta cabaña en julio y era agradable, así como el excelente personal. Teníamos nuestros favoritos de la gama PAN entonces, así que pedimos la misma pizza de nuevo. Teniendo en cuenta que había mirado las fotos de la comida en el sitio web antes de reservar para el 22 de octubre y estábamos esperando ver la comida de calidad que tuvimos la última vez! ¡QUÉ DECEPCIÓN! ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ El entrante de PAN DE AJO solo se hizo por un lado, no estaba muy caliente, parecía pálido por el otro lado, era suave y era absolutamente INSÍPIDO. ¡Luego llegó la MAINS! ¡Mi pollo Supreme Pan ciertamente no lo era! Esperaba que me presentaran una corteza marrón y crujiente con una buena porción de ingredientes como la que tuve en julio pasado. Solo había el medio de la pizza con cualquier cobertura y tuve que mirar para ver qué era qué. Una vez comidos el medio y los ingredientes, solo quedaba corteza pálida y suave. Mis socios batean pizza Fajita era de la misma construcción y nos fuimos sintiéndonos 45 libras más pobres y muy muy decepcionados. Creo que tal vez eran vacaciones escolares de medio término y el excelente personal estaba bajo presión, pero NO voy a ir a PIZZA HUT de nuevo en vacaciones escolares por esa razón. También he pasado estos comentarios a Servicio al Cliente de Pizza Hut.

Este pequeño restaurante de precio medio es un poco estrecho, pero se guarda con buena comida, aunque no es inspirador. Buen rango de menú, pero más limitado en la madrugada. Nuestra visita fue quizás contaminada por la máquina de tarjetas que no funciona y la necesidad de salir por dinero en efectivo. El personal acaba de dejar los que quedan sin ofrecer nada.

So very disappointing ... alot of the fries where burnt and the chicken kebab wasn't nice at all. The chicken was tasteless and the pitta bread was soggy

Food was lovely very tasty took quite a long time to arrive

Went there for Ruby's Tuesday, with live music and singing. Absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere, the service were top-notch! Will definitely come again

After recently moving to Nottingham, this pizza place was recommended to me by a friend. After managing an independent store for 10 years, making fresh dough ever day knowing what I produce is some of the best dough about. The pizza I had from this place last night was absolutely out of this world. The dough really was sublime, the pizza itself was delicious and full of flavour. I have to say that was one of the best pizzas I've had the pleasure to eat in many many years if not the best. (Still yet to try a pizza from Italy) I will say. But honestly it was out of this world. Definitely found my new local. Well done to all involved.

Customer service was 10/10 ensure they get the order right they got it ready in 10 mins ordered 2 burger meals king prawn and wings and chip filled a family of 5 the food tasted so good and portions of food were perfect the atmosphere of the shop was amazing and the layout of the takeaway was well organised highly recommend for a quick munch will be ordering again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ordered a pizza on Saturday night, toward the back end of the night, I didn't get what I ordered at all. What I got was a half arsed attempt at making a pizza and had no stuffed crust even when ordered and without peperoni! Pathetic excuse for a pizza should be ashamed!!!
