The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

The food, service and value for money is top class and the best Mediterranean spot in the area. Great wine and selection of dishes. Will certainly be back soon.

We have used this company for birthdays over the pandemic and they have been absolutely brilliant. Staff are so lovely and helpful and great prices! Really made a special birthday treat. Highly recommended!

Have eaten here several times as we enjoy the food a lot. Replacing the Lebanese(?) eatery that used to have this location, Lura serves up Italian food. So far everything I tried is great. Lura's chicken caesar salad is maybe the best I have eaten and that tends to be what we always eat now that the weather is hot. I enjoy that with a glass or two of chilled Prosecco. We must eat at weird times as they place always seems empty. But, perhaps it's much more busy in the evening when they have live music downstairs. A comfortable, cool place to watch folks pass by on Uxbridge Road.

Visited as a group of 10 tonight whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door. The food was fantastic and the staff and owner very friendly. There was a loud table near us and the owner dealt with it admirably and couldn’t apologise enough - a great evening and would definitely recommend a visit !

Salga de Bromley en el tubo de Bow y gire a la derecha (en dirección a Bow School). Gire a la derecha en Devas Street. Luego tome la primera carretera principal a la izquierda en Empson Street. Camina por esta calle hasta que se doble en una esquina. En esa esquina, justo en frente de ti, verás una pequeña zona industrial. Entra. Hay un café dinky llamado Puertas a tu derecha, pero sigue moviéndote a tu izquierda. Verás una señal para ApparelTasker. Bajo eso hay una señal para Polentina. Entra por la puerta y sube un vuelo. El restaurante está en la parte superior a su derecha. Más fácil de lo que parece, y vale la pena el viaje.

Precioso café de esquina, impecablemente limpio, la mesa no era pegajosa (mi mascota odia) Gran servicio, comida sabrosa que es la relación calidad-precio.

The pizzas were amazing and all the ingredients tasted so fresh! For dessert we had the nutella pizza with strawberries and bananas, SO DELICIOUS! Service was great and they are so friendly! The prices are so good and the food is more than worth it! Highly recommend! Well done guys, we can tell how much love you put into everything!

Ordered Prosciutto pizza and Seafood linguine, both had issues: 1. Seafood linguine used to be linguine, now it's spaghetti pasta which has worse taste and is ultimately misleading. 2. Prosciutto pizza had rocket salad unwashed with a large chunk of dirt on the pizza. This is a major food safety problem.

Just say this is for Mr Francatelli who have taken over the restaurant. Excellent starter and main and very good staff, attentive when needed but happy to leave me in peace.

Didn’t even know this place existed but omg i am so glad i know now!!!! So many gluten free options as well such as pizza, pasta and all the subs! All the staff are so lovely and i will definitely be returning! The order never turned up, we got told they called us and left a message ,they lied they never did we have screen shot proof if anyone would like to see and put the order as delivered on the app . The attitude on the phone was disrespectful and rude, no food or refund (DO NOT COME HERE )

What a lovely place to go for a meal. Second time there and it was truly memorable. My partners birthday was the occasion so we decided to celebrate with cocktails followed by a meal at the Greyhound. From the moment we entered we felt special, greeted by our first names, warm smiles by all the staff and a fantastic atmosphere. Rohit, Paris, Dan and Natalie looked after us, all of them were exceptional, polite, humorous and very good at what they did. The chap in the suit ( sorry I don’t know his name, manager, maitre de?) was a lovely guy, really positive with a big smile and nothing was too much trouble. He looked super smart and never stopped! But then my favourite! Alzira, she remembered us from last time, had a long chat with us and seemed genuinely very happy to see us. She was a credit to the Greyhound back when we first came for a meal, but is worth her weight in gold now. A lovely girl. We had the vegetarian taster menu ( both vegetarians) it was sublime ! Classy presentation, incredible flavours and superb service throughout. Just the right amount of time between courses… perfect. The place was busy but you would never have known by the attention from the staff. To the owners - I have always said for many years, that the essence of a great night out is how well you are treated, the customer service we received is probably some of the best we have ever experienced ( and we have eaten in a lot of places!) if you look after your staff and treat them well they will want to do well for you. These members of staff are a credit to your restaurant so please look after them because they are the reason ( plus the beautiful food of course) that we will be back. 10/10 from us and see you all again soon. Had a great pizza with friends. Great service, waitress was very attentive. Will definitely return.
