The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Met with family for pre Christmas get together, nine people and two dogs, no booking, the staff were very helpful and found us a large table, food was delicious as it always is, service was excellent, definitely a favourite restaurant of ours.

Had the most gorgeous meal! I had yummy prawns to start with and their festive pasta was absolutely stunning! Really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go there again! 😊

Fantastic value for money, and very tasty food.

By far and away the best pizzeria in Bromley town centre. I've been using this place since it opened a few years ago. The sourdough pizzas are in a league of their own. There are plenty of options to customise your pizza plus a great range of sides,starters and dips. The staff are really friendly and attentive which makes Franco Manca always a pleasure to visit.

We popped in for a meal pre theatre. Waitresses were all really pleasant, reasonably prompt service. Food was ok - meatballs seemed not to be home made and whole dish was too salty. Other meals were ok. Cocktails seem pre mixed and overly sweet. Not bad, just mediocre really. I don't think we will be back I'm afraid

We waited over 10 minutes to be sat at a table. The young waitress was very polite. How ever did to such staff shortages, the service was slow and not very attentive. Especially with the prices of food and the service charge which was put on top which we wasn’t made aware of until the end when we had to go up to the bar to get the bill. Once the food had arrived the pizzas came out greasy and then portion of chips was small for how much we paid for them. The carbonara on the other hand was delicious. There wasn’t a check back made which was annoying due to us wanting to order more drinks due to finishing our first ones because the service to get the food was so slow.

Very poor, lots of flies. 40 minutes to get a starter and only after we complained. The 'tap' water was undrinkable. Been going for many years. Won't be back.

Table of 4. Ordered pizzas, garlic bread and a lasagna. Food cake quickly and was hot and presented well. Lasagna was burnt but covered over with cheese and was swimming in a tomato sauce which overpowered the flavors of the food. The pizza bases were dry and not the best. We were asked 7 times in 10 minutes by different members of staff if we needed anything etc and they were stood around our table which was really uncomfortable. We then got asked a further 5 times if we wanted to take food home and if we wanted the bill. We have been before and it was amazing so it felt really disappointing.

I had an amazing meal! The pizza was fantastic and really hit the spot. A huge shoutout to Lena, our server, who was so attentive and helpful throughout the meal. Will definitely be back soon!
