Al Dente in Camden

Encontré el restaurante usando Google Maps ya que necesitábamos un lugar para comer cerca de nuestro hotel. Tuvimos una comida pre teatro. Hay una mesa central que se comparte o se sienta alrededor del exterior. Tuvimos la suerte de conseguir un asiento en la ventana. Un menú pequeño pero totalmente excelente , todo casero, los arincini que compartimos fue una delicia. Mi carbonara era increíble y una porción tan grande servida caliente, los canelones de mi esposa estaban deliciosos. No puedo recomendar el tiramisú lo suficiente, cremoso chocolate precioso. Junto con el fabuloso vino italiano fue un placer absoluto comer allí

Este lugar es italiano más moderno. Gran selección de platos, buenos entrantes y a un precio razonable. Equipo muy amable. La única crítica es que el lugar es muy pequeño y compartes mesas con otras personas lo que no te da ninguna privacidad. Si compartes con grupo ruidoso se acabará la noche de diversión. También yo y mi amiga pedimos la misma pasta pero la de ella se cocinó mejor, sé que al dente está en el nombre pero la mía fue súper dura

A Londra con la famiglia questo è uno dei pochi posti in cui siamo riusciti a mangiare bene sfamandoci. Quattro ottimi ottimi di pasta al dente e con porzioni soddisfacenti. Servizio cortese e solerte. Prezzo corretto solo perché siamo a Londra. Consigliato agli italiani in viaggio a Londra.

Quelle excellente surprise ! Malgré le peu d'avis, ce restaurant est une vraie pépite nous projetant en Italie. Les recettes sont délicieuses et de très bonnes qualités (pâtes fraîches faites sur place). Laissez-vous tenter par la parmigiana, vrai coup de cœur. Rapport qualité-prix excellent, notamment pour un restaurant en plein cœur de South Kensington. Un fabuleux voyage culinaire sans aucun faux pas ! À tester absolument.

The food was excellent and fresh Italian fare. The eggplant Parmesan was some of the best I’ve ever had! We also loved the arancini balls.

Great pasta at great price. Had seafood spaghetti, was very al dente so stuck together & hard to eat but taste was great. Female waitress seemed stressed & asked us to leave for others even though there was lots of free seats. Male waiter was nice.

Went during a weekday where the restaurant was in a more casual setting (i.e. walk-in, take-away format). Prices are affordable (usually under £15) and the quality of the food is superb. Quick and friendly service offering freshly-made pasta. Their spaghetti alla carbonara is incredible. Can occasionally get quite busy during peak hour - it may be difficult to get a seat during this time.

Se siete alla ricerca di vera cucina italiana questo è il posto giusto. La carbonara è spaziale così come tutti gli altri primi. Super consigliato

Fatal. Pedí el large y mi amiga el normal. Los dos platos eran iguales y la diferencia era de 5 libras. Le pregunté al camarero cuál era cuál y ni el sabía. Además, no nos dejaron pagar con dinero en efectivo, pero a un hombre que llegó después sí que le dejaron .

We both had a pasta, my friend's was fine.Mine was Paccheri al Rago. I was curious at the lack of the taste of vegetables in the dish, meat was there.On mentioning this to staff, was told vegetables are in the sauce.With the Spring Salad we surprised with the amount of mayo dribbled all over the salad.No condiments were brought,Olive Oil and Pepper were asked for.The price of this salad for two was too much for the amount served.The taste of the mayo stayed with us for sometime.I sensed that takeaways were more important to Al Dente than customers eating in Al Dente.

The pasta was amazing! You get your moneys worth. The price is amazing for the quality pasta you get in this restaurant. The only thing would be that the location we were at the sitting area was very uncomfortable and tight but we didn’t mind.

Ordinato a casa tramite Uber ma meritate una recensione. In vacanza qui a Londra con la ragazza.. in giro tutto il giorno, la sera al ritorno troviamo su uber questo pastificio, le belle foto hanno attirato la nostra attenzione e dunque ordiniamo ravioli al ragù, piadina romagna e tiramisù. Tutto buonissimo.. la sugo al ragù al tiramisù che neanche a Napoli è semplice trovare chi lo fa così bene… complimenti!

Locale piccolo ma ben organizzato, staff italiano gentilissimo. Qui ho mangiato la pasta al pesto più buona della mia vita, servizio rapido (nonostante il locale fosse pieno) e piatti della giusta quantità. Io e il mio compagno ci torneremo di sicuro nei nostri prossimi viaggi a Londra. Un applauso allo staff e soprattutto al cuoco, italiano, di cui purtroppo non ricordiamo il nome. Jenny & Mirko

You know an Italian restaurant is legit if it's packed with Italians. I am also Italian, I can honestly say it's the same as eating back home! Maybe even better - unbelievable food at an affordable honest price in London

Came here for a quick lunch. Had the regular Cacio e Pepe, this was tasty but very filling and rich, to be expected. A regular size is more than sufficient

Siamo tornati due sere in questo locale. Piatti squisiti. Sicuramente il miglior ristorante italiano in cui cenare a Londra.

Ahh it was exquisite. If you’re looking for some nice pasta near Oxford St, this definitely exceeded our expectations. Service was quick, tables were clean, pasta was fresh and divine. It was also just the right amount portion, not too much but was perfect for us. I had the ‘Ravioli Zucca e Pecorino’ (pumpkin ravioli) and my friend had the Fusilli al Pesto. Both were around £10 each which is reasonable for us in London too. 10000% gonna come here again. 😍

We booked for four people for dinner. Unfortunately one of our party was held up at work and couldn’t make it. I completely understand that this is annoying for the restaurant as you can only book for 4+ people (if we knew we were only going to be 3 people we obviously wouldn’t have booked) but we are not responsible for our friend’s actions. The attitude of the waiter was very bad. He kept on and on about how we should’ve called and how there’s a cancellation fee, even when we apologised and tried to explain. It was incessant, despite the fact that we were the ones who turned up so it was hardly our fault! That really soured the evening and meant that we couldn’t properly enjoy our food. Personally my carbonara was quite good, but my friends said their cacio e pepe and linguine seafood were cold. I think the restaurant is too small to have a fully enjoyable experience even without the rude service

Ordered a late night delivery to our hotel from this restaurant. Good value for money, delivery was reasonably quick given the time of night & portion sizes were decent. Only downfall was the tomatoes within the Piadina Caprese were very chunky meaning the flatbread fell apart when trying to eat. Lovely Italian nonetheless.

The best Lasagna & Carbonara I’ve ever tasted . Delicious food at reasonable prices along with great service . Will definitely go again when next in London , just wish they had a spot in Yorkshire

poche parole solo per dire... top! se volete mangiare italiano a Londra, non perdetevi questo posto: cibo autentico e delizioso, personale simpatico e molto gentile! dopo la prima sera (ottima carbonara) siamo tornati anche quella seguente! Super!

This is a lovely restaurant in Southern Kensington. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious. We liked it so much we returned for dinner a second time during our vacation. The Ravioli al Dente was the best ravioli dish I have ever had! The homemade spaghetti and gnocchi were delicious as well. Highly recommend!

Came past mid-afternoon and thought it looked lovely, the menu is broad with good options and honestly cannot fault the food. Got the seafood linguini and Italian sausage pasta. However, was greeted with silence and just plainly looked at with an empty restaurant. Politely asked if they were open, to which they were but was told that they weren’t doing table service and we have to come up to order- which we had no complaints about!! Although having said this they didn’t make us feel welcome and almost as if we were an inconvenience to be despite being the only one in there and happily helping ourselves to get our own drinks and food up at the counter as well. Just not friendly at all which was a massive shame as we felt very awkward and uncomfortable, almost to the point where we considered taking the food away with us and eating somewhere else! At least the food was delish though. (Also very reasonable priced and good portions)
