Las opciones vegetarianas disponibles incluyendo el delicioso y sol de guacamole tomate seco sandwiches.2 de nuestro grupo optamos por la "té festivo, pero el panettone fue una decepción que muy secas y no lo que uno puede esperar de un establecimiento de primera clase. Otras tartas y pasteles eran buenas. Una buena selección de tés para beber. Sin embargo, yo habría esperado té de hojas - las que elegimos bolsitas de té. Decepcionante también que la gente a tomar el té vestida con ropa muy informal quizás estoy pasada de moda, pero otros lugares que he visitado insisten en por lo menos un/una blusa camisa con jeans.

El hotel puede ser excelente. Pero el bar la comida y el servicio no son de lo mejor. Olvídate de mezcla de la orden. La comida estaba fría y se sirve hasta tarde. Las patatas fritas eran frío. Burger parecía que era la izquierda por diez minutos en la cocina antes sirve. Ni siquiera coincide con la mano derecha cubiertos con la comida. Y cuando usted pide cubiertos, te traen el tenedor y cuchillo sosteniendo con su mano desnuda ni siquiera envuelto en una servilleta. Tanto para un nombre Bulgari!. En cualquier caso, si lo que quieres es una buena hamburguesa, prueba el bar del hotel Mandarin al otro lado de la calle.

The bar at the hotel is a terrific spot to take time out , away from the hectic rush of shoppers , a really great bar menu , attentive staff , the crudités and dips are first rate and with a glass of rose one feels refreshed and well served .....this is first rate and among the best

The afternoon tea is richly served and the high quality of the products makes the difference in the exclusive taste. The sitting may not be ideal but you can choose between the arm chairs and table or the sofa area that I believe is uncomfortable for eating but either way the complete afternoon tea is a treat. I specially like the fireplace and last year was also very nice the Christmas tree.

We visited the bar at this hotel intending to have a quick drink, but were so impressed by the ambience, good music, enormous selection of fine wines and spirits, and above all by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, that we stayed for several hours. While certainly not the cheapest bar in the area, its understated refinement and the quality of its staff make this a venue that offers comfort, style, and surprisingly good value for money. Very highly recommended.

Me and my girlfriend entered the hotel, and felt very welcomed , we didn't have any reservation just felt to have something light after shopping . One of the manager approach as straight away and with little wait in the bar.we got a table. The service ,and the staff was absolutely lovely, but missed some Little extra touch , no one really double checks how happy are we ... Stuff like that. Except that nice experience

Excellent location across from Hyde Park and central within Knightsbridge. Really not that expensive. Cool but unpretentious vibe.

Came in after a long walk in hyde park. Was able to relax and chill out for hours. Thank you for the staff for looking after us during some hot summery days, and refreshing us with some champagne. :)

What a perfect afternoon tea. Tea was well prepared and served. Food was all very good. This is a real pleasure experience. We will go back as soon as we can.

We went here for afternoon tea for a friends 30th. The food was great and service was friendly. It's not the traditional set up one might expect for afternoon, it is more relaxed with comfy sofas and low tables. This suited us as we sat and enjoyed the surroundings for some time. My boyfriend asked if we could have a look around the hotel and they said no problem and called someone to show us around. We were happy to have a look ourselves but this turned out much better. We were shown around by Nigel who was great. Fab afternoon!

The hotel location was great and the rooms were big and suites are even better. The beds that are in the rooms are the most comfortable and I slept great every night. I loved the location as it had easy access to lots of shopping and walking distance to Harrods and Harvey Nichols plus many more stores. Plus it was convenient to many museums and to Hyde Park. Best location and a really nice comfortable hotel

A stylish little haven that serves lovely snacks and drinks at lightening speed. I was impressed by the delicious pasta I ordered brought very quickly by experienced staff. The dish was simple but beautifully presented. The Campari soda was pricey but generous.

My daughter booked standard afternoon tea as a thank to to myself and my partner, and booked online, when we got there none one could find the booking, very embarrassing indeed. We were finally seated in the lobby which I thought strange, very chic and modern but not cosy and conducive of afternoon tea! Sandwiches were bought first on and were stone cold, definitely straight out of the fridge and served on the plate also out of the fridge, not nice or usual practice! When asked if we would like more (there were 4 finger sandwiches and 2 mini tartlets, we said yes and waited about 15 minutes, they were also stone cold and also Rick hard, obviously made several hours before, this went on until we decided to forget the sandwiches and go onto the cake, which was presented traditionally on a stand and looked and tastes nice-nothing out of the ordinary! There was black tea on offer, 4 kinds, we ordered 'the royal blend' it didn't taste any different than PG TIPS only much weaker, this place is all style over substance, even the people next to us were complaining about the freezing cold sandwiches, they gave us a free drink and a teeny tiny box of chocolates as an apology, £70 + service charge, don't waste you money, go to 'the Connault' or Browns' or check trip advisor first! weakerweaker!

Exquisite minimalist presentation of the afternoon tea .Felt welcome at the reception.Attentive service.Followed by a tour of the hotel by the new manager who came and asked us if we were happy with the service etc. .Lobby area quite open so not the most private surrounding.

I was a bit let down by the Bulgari cigar bar. While the person overseeing it had good subject knowledge, the venue is quite lame given the newness of the hotel and the brand. It is a very small, dark room that feels more like a forced conversion of a space rather than a room that was thoughtfully designed for those that enjoy high quality cigar rooms. The service, drinks and food were all fine but with so many other choices in London like the Mayfair Hotel rooftop terrance or the Churchill cigar terrace, I wouldn't return any time soon.

The Hotel Bvlgari has to be the most chic hotel in London, and the Lounge area with it's fireplace on one side and the bar in another part are the perfect places to have a relaxing time having a coffe or a tea with very delicious pastries by Alain Ducasse and also perfect for a business meeting The Bar part of the lounge also a great place to enjoy a small snack or a good drink, the bar is a very impressive .

Helaas was de high tea een grote teleurstelling. Wij hadden gekozen voor de signature afternoon tea van 42 pond en deze viel heel erg tegen. Het brood van de sandwiches was oud, deze waren waarschijnlijk 's ochtends al gemaakt. De tartines waren koud, deze zouden warm zijn. De foie gras en tonijn waren erg lekker. Het zoet ging ook mis, de madeleines waren koud terwijl deze ook warm zouden zijn. Wij hebben dit aangegeven en het meisje dat ons bediende bood haar excuses aan en we zouden nieuwe krijgen. De nieuwe madeleines waren gewoon de oude die in de oven waren gedaan met het gevolg dat ze helemaal hard waren geworden en veel te ver door. Ook de tart tatin was koud, deze zijn wel prima verwarmd maar onze teleurstelling was echt groot vooral voor dat geld! Uiteindelijk is er 1 high tea van de rekening gehaald, dit vonden wij erg netjes. Tot wij de rekening kregen! De 42 pond was namelijk ex 20% BTW en 12,5% service charge. Ik zou hier niet meer teruggaan en het ook niemand adviseren. Volgende keer weer naar Sketch waar alles wel aan de verwachtingen voldoet.

I regularly attend the cigar lounge and it is honestly faultless. Very polite, smiling and down to earth staff that know everything from cigars to whiskies to wines to good bars in London. The selection of cigars is all-Cuban wide and high quality. The drinks choices are unlimited, with bartenders capable of making any cocktail you can dream of, and a selection of each spirit type. There's even a corkage option for your own bottles to regular customers. And the bar foods are truly exquisite. The lounge is INDOORS, with cosy leather chairs and a nice, calm atmosphere and a quiet selection of 20th Century tunes playing in the background.I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a calm post-dinner treat or a quiet way to begin the vibrant night ahead. Either way, wear a suit/dress and get there soon!

One of the best coctails I have had, the service and snacks were great also. If you are in the area I would recommend as the food is of a high standard. Staff were very knowledgeable and gave a first class service. I would definatly recommend Bulgari. You won't be disappointed

Perfect bar to chill out after an hectic day. The décor is very styllish and the music selection quite nice which create a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly.

One of the last bastions of unique places where one can indulge in the pleasures of a Cuban cigar. They had my favourite Cohiba, the service was excellent and the atmosphere ideal for those who appreciate certain class

This place is very modern and trendy. The portions are tapas style so on first glance the menu looks remarkably cheap but you share several dishes so it's actually quite expensive.However it's well worth a visit

Edward Sahakian Cigar Shop with a sampling lounge is inside at the BVLGARI Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.Mike and Attila are fantastic and the best cigar sommeliers at least in Europe. Mike Choi won the UK Cigar Sommelier competition and has become 2nd in the World Championship! No wonder you will get the most competent service!There are around 20-25 seats in the sleek smoking lounge where you can sample the purchased cigars from the Edward Sahakian Cigar shop. In addition you can order drinks and food from the bar. If you are new in town, you will make easily cigar friends there.It is frequented by celebrities, locals and visitors.There are on a regular basis great Cigar Tasting events.

A great destination for a large group of us to dine in comfort and relaxed atmosphere with first class food and faultless service.

I mean the name in itself has a status and obviously attracts people to go in! Just to say you have! Very similar to the one in Milan which is what you expect. The first time I went the bar had a dj but because of complaints they haven't got that anymore so yesterday I tried the same bar from this new atmosphere. For a quiet chilling drink it's great nice bar friendly staff. But on a Saturday night for a young couple or group of friends looking for atmosphere forget it. Wouldn't Evan walk in. Also there are too many children running round the place, I usually don't mind but it's the last thing you want when you have a glass of whiskey and are looking for some quiet chill out time! Just isn't the right decor and ambience for kids don't understand why parents would Evan take them to a place like that in the first place! Perhaps hotel shouldn't allow them at certain times? Or band them from bar?

I'm a fan of bvlgari. Lol. If you're having high expectations about the food, don't. I enjoyed the tea, but it truly wasn't the best I had. Sandwiches were pretty average, not very impressive. Desserts on the other hand, was quite good. A comfortable place to have tea at the lounge, but it's really near the lobby area. My partner wasn't too glad with the fact that guests were walking about (because afterall, it's near the lobby). Service was excellent although there's only one waiter available. Food wasn't such a *gem afterall. ;)

I had booked a table for afternoon tea for my birthday celebrations. Upon arrival we were kept waiting, I had to ask someone to take our coats. I had to approach a member of staff to say why I was there. The manager then said my table wasn't ready, when asking him why he said another person had sat at my reserved area and was refusing to move. I was shocked, we waited for a further 10mins and the person was refusing to move and the manager was clearly embarrassed by this. The manager then offered us complimentary champagne and we were taken to another table. We waited a further 10mins before someone gave us a menu, and then 20mins for our afternoon tea. I found the sandwich's were bland and boring and stale, I would have expected something a little more adventurous at this hotel. The desserts were very yummy and the scones were just light and Moorish. The staff at this hotel are lovely when they are attending you, though the staff looked rushed, running around all over the place and I felt there was no direction in place in how they were attending to guests.

I took my sister two weekends ago in August for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday.A mixed experience. The food was reasonable, the sandwiches in particular were nice. The scones were very good and the selection of preserves good. The chocolate cake slice was also excellent.Regrettably, the service really let it down. There was one waitress, covering the whole lobby who seemed more interested in talking to the doorman, than providing any sort of service. In fact, she served us three times. Once to hand a menu, once to deliver tea and once to take the bill. There was no offer of additional drinks, all tea poured by ourselves. To get out attention we had to wave like madmen.The venue is pleasant, opulent and stylish, if a little dark.The price is reasonable, only £30 per head. This would be a good price, if it were not for the service. At the Berkley, Goring and Claridges, the service is warm, professional and perfect and it has made me realise how much the service can alter an experience.I couldn't recommend, unless you were very keen on the brand or had to have tea in the area.P.S. - The pic n mix was a nice touch however!

Money cannot buy class. The bar is slick but not friendly and looks like its in a railway station. The cocktails were average and service perfunctory. The hotel could do better. It's no doubt a popular place with the glitterati but if it wants local well heeled regulars it needs to do better.

We were lucky enough to experience the taster week at the restaurant and were delighted with the experience, the Waiters were fantastic and very helpful whilst the Somelier provided us with an absolutely brilliant recommendation for the wine to accompany our wine.Delighted with the experience and looking forward to going back soon.

we have been dinning at Il Ristorante to celebrate a bday, 4 pax. Aperitivo ok, but food overall wasnt wow. wine list very good, though i think a little bit overpriced. desserts ok, nothing out of the extraordinary, i would say, stay at the bar upstairs.

Toller Eindruck von der ersten Minute: Sehr schönes Hotel, tolle Bar und hervorragendes Restaurant. Hervorzuheben ist der besondere Service der charmanten Italiener. Sehr viel Detail Arbeit. Ein kleines Beispiel: uns gefiel der Wein sehr gut - der übrigens eine Empfehlung des Hauses war und dabei eher zu den günstigeren der Karte gehört hat - innerhalb kürzester Zeit kam ein Kuvert mit einer Karte darin, auf der das Weinetikett aufgeklebt war. Essen hat sehr hohe gute Qualität, hervorzuheben, dass es eher Klassiker sind, als abgehobene Schäumchen Küche. Preise hoch, aber für Londoner Verhältnisse nicht überteuert. Immer wieder gerne!

We were here for my birthday. Our dinner started off on a good note. We were a half hour early for our reservation but were promptly seated. I think the dinner was quite average for my expectations from a restaurant that associates itself with the Bulgari. And I mostly blame that upon the service. Once we were seated, we got wine menu's to look at along with the drink menu's. We wanted to try the cocktails and mocktails instead of wines for asked for the cocktail menu. They took a while to get the menu, and when they did get one, we actually got one to share amongst three people. I found that illogical because if there are three diners I would expect three drink menu's. I was quite impressed with the appetisers we ordered, especially the mushrooms. The mains were alright. I had high expectations from the desserts, but sadly they seemed to disappoint. However, the ambiance really makes up for all of that. What I found lacking here was the attention to detail when it came to the service. For the price that I paid (about 200 quid), I expected better service. Maybe my expectations were high, but I am comparing this to my experiences at similar restaurants and the service in those places was considerably better. Our glasses were emptied up before more water was poured in, they didn't offer a stool for me to keep my clutch purse on and it kept falling off the chair during dinner- these are small details that should be looked after at a restaurant of this calibre. however, I was most upset with the fact that even though we had informed them while making the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and mentioned it on the telephone conversation when they called to confirm too (with a confirmation from them that they would bring in a birthday plate), they completely forgot about it over dinner. Was quite a bummer for a birthday celebration. I expected better.I will not be back to the restaurant again, but will probably try just the bar the next time as the drinks were quite nice.

Went to the restaurant of the new Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge for lunch with my sister. They were running an offer of 3 courses of a limited menu + water and coffee for £30 pp (which compares to their usual lunch offer of £30 for 3 courses of the limited menu without drinks). This in itself is a good deal, provided you stick with the water and coffee. I will never be able to fathom why a simple glass of spicy tomato juice has to cost £9,- (!). My sister and I each had one which quickly expanded the bill, as did my glass of wine. The a la carte menu has some very tempting dishes on it and the seasonal specials with truffle made my mouth water, however we decided to stick to the set menu. The food was good without being exceptional. We both had the slightly dry vitello tonato followed by oriechetti with broccoli which was quite nice. The dining room is lovely, very stylish as you’d expect, perhaps a tad flash and possibly a bit stiff. Staff was very friendly but not sure the whole experience and in particular the food was remarkable or memorable enough to make me want to return in a hurry. I did however love the atmosphere in the beautiful and welcoming lobby with the candy jars and can imagine returning for a drink at the bar

Every yr my sis goes Dorchester for tea but in Nov last year I took my sister for aafternoon tea at Bulgari as a birthday treat.... Thr hotel was clean and staff were nice. But the location was Lik a foyer rather then a restaurant seating. I rang the hotel 3 times to advise we would lik halal sandwichs including once when I booked. A week before and 24hrs prior. There were no halal sandwhich prepared. Once I complained they brought some. The sandwich were terrible apart from the egg. We order a plate of fries which cost approx £7 for that price id expect some thrice fried fries or chips... They were really awful really cheap lik a value brand fries... Very upsetting. As its hard to find afternoon tea that does halal section. Our waitress was not very polite either. For that price we left hungry. But got to say the cakes were delicious. We will however stick to Dorcester as they are very fourth comin with there service and food.

My husband and I had an early dinner here on Friday evening. Food was great, very tasty and good value at £39 for 3 courses and a glass of prosecco. I'd say it's the friendliness of the staff that make this restaurant special and I will definitely return and recommend to friends.

We visited the Il Ristorante restaurant at the Bulgari hotel in London with friends last night and had an amazing evening.From the valet who greeted us outside the hotel and walked us through to the bar, to the bar and restaurant staff, the service was impeccable.Starting in the bar for cocktails, the choice was old world classics, some modern twists and a few signature cocktails. The staff were helpful in walking us through some of the more unusual cocktails and were ever attentive and efficient. The decor was elegant and the ambience refined.Walking down the magnificent staircase to the restaurant, our cocktails following with a waiter.Once in the restaurant the staff were exceptional and knowledgeable about both the food and wine.The food was divine and the Tiramisu one of the best I’ve ever had. This really is how 5-star should be. We’ll definitely be back.

Had dinner with a friend and the staff are brilliant. They go out of their way to make you feel special with lots of lovely touches. Food good and value for money was excellent as we had a "star deal" we found on bookatable.com - Fantastic. Will be back.

The restaurant at this hotel is excellent. Food great, surroundings superb but the staff are outstanding. The service was absolutely first class and the staff truly go out of their way to make your visit special. Well Done.

Tonight I have been at the restaurant. Ok, let's start with the good things. The staff is absolutely perfect, they really want to please and make your evening special. They succeed, and for that they deserve a ten out of ten. Some decent wines, even at a relatively good base price for Knightsbridge. The food is prepared with genuine italian ingredients and it is definitely advisable to leave space for the dessert. Unfortunately that's it with the good stuff. The location looks like the Bulgari architect had to put the restaurant somewhere, and nothing better than the round bottom of the stairs it looks a bit like a bunker. Small tables, even though at a good distance from each other. No atmosphere, mainly due to the cheap boilerhouse music coming from the bar, upstairs, just over the restaurant. Why did they not swap the two and put the restaurant upstairs? Mah we will never know. The menu does not tell any story, I recognise I am Italian and therefore picky, but it is just a bit of this and that. For a price tag of at 60 gbp per person for a two course plus wine this is a big no. Even if the meal is well executed, a thin layer of wild mushrooms of which porcini are less than 30% and quite sandy for 21£ is pushing it. The poor burrata was not creamy and a bit too cold, even though the cherry tomatoes were special. The focaccia di Recco had cheese that was way too much cooked. You do not cook squaquerone cheese, ( if ever there was), but it was too cooked anyway to tell. All in all, pretentious and overpriced, it needs serious looking at.

Went for the brunch and was not disappointed, not cheap, but would not expect it any other way. Terrific antipasto to start with coffee and bloody Mary's - which were slightly disappointing in terms of flavour and who puts the cherry tomatoes and celery on the side and not very spicy? Antipasto were terrific, smoked aubergine, Caesar salad, and deserts all inventive and tasty. A lovely morning/early afternoon, with great service and surroundings. A slight disappointment was after the brunch we ordered another bottle of Proseco and was charged for the most expensive one on the menu and not the same (cheaper) one served with the brunch - there were 2 other varieties on the menu, not good at all at a hotel of this standard, will probably not return now.

heard about this restaurant through the media and decided to give it a try. had the set lunch on a fairly quiet weekday afternoon. was a little bit early for my reservation and the hostess immediately ushered me to the bar lounge for a complimentary drink while waiting for the restaurant to open.in terms of the set menu, the home made pasta was cooked very well as was the starter of octopus. the dessert of souffle was also faultless. a very classy place to have a nice meal.

We went for a 'special' family birthday and were impressed from the minute the doorman greeted us warmly! The decor is very modern and impressive - every corner oozes attention to detail and high class furniture and fittings. The restaurant itself is on two levels with a bar upstairs.The staff were friendly, professional and attentive being very keen that we really did enjoy the courses. The menu was interesting and catered for everyone in the group. The meal was absolutely delicious. We were not rushed in any way. We will certainly go again.

Last night my friend and I had dinner at Il Ristorante. The experience at the restaurant from start to finish was fantastic. The waiting staff were attentive and well informed about the dishes on the menu. We followed their recommendations and everything was cooked to perfection. We decided to share some Antipasti to start with, chosing the Burrata (an amazing creamy mozarella) along with a special cheese Foccacia bread, which was delicate and extremely tasty. Our Primi platter was the Trofie pasta with a Genovese pesto, which melted in the mouth and was bursting with flavour. We both chose the same main plate, the veal Milanese, which had come highly recommended, and it completely lived up to expectations. It was tender, light and flavoursome. For desert I chose Wild Strawberries with Marscapone sorbet, which was fresh, light and finished off the meal perfectly.For me, the element that really made the evening, was the service from staff. There was not a single point in the evening where I felt we were not being looked after. The meals came out promptly and the staff were always available. It was a flawless evening and I will definitely return.

The food in the new Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge is as sophisticated as the decor. Risotto in various guises was perfectly prepared, and the modern takes on classic dishes such as veal scallopini Milanese were as interesting as they were delicious. Service was professional and prompt. The desserts are worth a trip all by themselves. The only complaint (minor) was the mind-numbing disco music pulsating down from the bar above. Other than that, perfection.

I was taken to Il Bar for a business lunch, starting with the finest and lightest white wine I have ever had. We had a selection of various starters to share, each of which was absolutely divine (I particularly recommend the Aubergine caviar). Wine pairing was perfect, the staff demonstrated the utmost professionalism and attention, the room decoration is highly elegant, and the chicken I had as a main dish was absolutely perfect, very tender and tasty. A glass of champagne ended our lunch on a beautiful note - this was the best lunch I have had in London.The whole hotel looks stunning, I would highly recommend the place for any lunch and dinner for couples, friends or business purposes.

I have been to Il Ristorante and Bar with a friend on a Saturday night for drinks and dinner and we had an amazing time. The decor is very glamourous and chic, well you are in knightsbridge after all! The cocktails in the Bar were very good and well presented. There were no seats at the bar but we sat at a table and service was impeccable. After the pre-dinner drinks we were showed to the restaurant and were greeted by every single member of the staff! Bonus point! It was not too busy with a nice atmosphere. I particularly do not like very crowed restaurants. The food was very good - tasty and well presented. Once again the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would say it is a little bit expensive compared to other hotel restaurants but it was worth the try.

On route back to Singapore, I had a few meetings which I decided to have at the Bulgari. The concierge was extremely polite and helpful, kindly looking after my luggage. The hotel is understated glamour - eschewing the extreme gawdy opulence of many other large hotels, it is a testament to taste and simplicity. The large bar is beautiful. The service excellent and attentive. No snobbery just good thoughtful and genuine attention to detail. The cocktails are extremely well made. With its central location in Knightsbridge, this is certainly one of the best places to stay and most definately one of the best hotel bars in town.

My wife and I absolutely loved the experience! Perfect location, stunning set-up and gorgeous food & wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Il Ristorante - the most attentative staff who were very knowledgeable about the food & wine - perfect in every sense. We will be back!

This restaurant located within the very swish Bulgari Hotel is elegant and classy with a glamorous sweeping staircase leading down from the bar, lots of highly polished glossy surfaces and crisp white table cloths. The food is sophisticated Italian fare and the service is highly professional though warm and friendly. Given the eye watering cost of staying a night here the prices in Il Ristorante are not wildly prohibitive, indeed the set 3 course lunch priced at £30 is a steal for food as good as this. We thoroughly enjoyed what we had. It was quiet during our lunch time visit so not hot with atmosphere and our wines by the glass could have done to be a tad more chilled but all in all this is a fabulous venue for glitz and good food.

Fabulous brunch ,amazing variety of food. Excellent value if you go for the unlimited champagne. It is a good place for people watching too. Lots of glamorous fashionable people!! The only downside is you have a 2hour slot which you will easily outstay if you really do spend the time to have a long leisurely brunch -which is of course the point of brunch!!

Went to the bar for a few post dinner drinks with friends late on a Saturday night. It felt like a scene straight out of the latest bond movie.The interior is very rich and sumptuous with lots of shiny metal, black and dark woods to give that über luxurious impression. Of course being in Knightsbridge and being a designer residence, it is very expensive but it is worth it for the people watching. We had a few cocktails which set us back almost £20 each for one. The service was pleasant, polite and nothing was to much hassle.

I have been at this restaurant and I eat a very amazing food. Wine, food and service was great and very professional. I will go again for sure.

We were looking to kick start our New Year's Eve celebrations with a memorable lunch. The exquisitely sophisticated surroundings; the friendly and appropriately informal service and the exceptional quality of the food at Il Ristorante in the Bulgari Hotel, Knightsbridge meant that we were not disappointed.We opted for the set lunch menu of 3 courses for £30.00 per person including water and coffee. Expecting the usual hard sell of extras and sides, we were pleasantly surprised when no such pressure materialised. And the wine list has also been devised so that there are enough choices that don't require a second mortgage to be taken out!All in all this was a truly wonderful experience. Beautiful surroundings with attentive staff (possibly a little too attentive but it was quiet!) and first rate food.As the Italians would say... torneremo!

Took my partner for dinner here, we weren't disappointed, excellent decor, luxury surroundings. The staff were all exceptional, they were there to ensure your dining experience was first class.Great Italian menu, great wine, my partner had the chicken and I opted for the beef, both dishes were excellent. the wine and champagne very nice, we both chose the Italian ice cream for dessert, heavenly !A great place to take a loved one for a special dinner, can't wait to go back.

Il Ristorante at the Bulgari on Knightsbridge is an elegant delight, accessed by a sweeping staircase that spirals down in a way reminiscent of a grand cruise liner - ideal for those who like to make an entrance. I was welcomed by four smiling members of the team, each of whom appeared to have a defined role in making our dining experience special. The charming head waiter took great care to explain each dish to us and to ensure we had everything we needed. The food itself was a sensory delight - wonderful chick-pea creamed soup followed by crispy skinned but moist inside red snapper. With a special lunch time offer to include three courses, bread and water at £30 per head, we thought this represented very good value for the quality and ambiance experienced. Wine was also reasonably priced but just go easy on the wonderful cocktails in the bar beforehand or the bill can start to climb as steeply as the sweeping staircase... I will definitely return and would recommend Il Ristorante to anybody who appreciates the achingly chic elegance the place successfully delivers.

I had my birthday dinner with my friends at this restaurant recently and we had such an amazing time. The restaurant is located on the lower ground floor of the Bulgari Hotel. The decor is amazing. Beautifully decorated throughout. Service was impeccable but unfortunately, food was just OK. Nothing to brag about..but despite all that, I will come back again as its Bulgari.. and I like Bulgari! :-)

My partner has stayed at Bulgari Milan in the past and we eagerly anticipated the same service and level of luxury when Bulgari London opened its doors..were we disappointed? To say the least, yes. We decided on an evening out in London back few months ago and what better way to start a nice dinner rather than with a good glass of bubbly in the nice bar. Or so we thought. On arrival, there was one security guy at the door who manically tried to manage everything from greeting guests to opening the doors to cars pulled up outside. We didn't receive any acknowledgement upon entering the lobby. Another security person was inside, he looked emotionless at us and again, no 'good evening' followed. In fact, not a single question while we stood inside trying to work out the way to the bar. Finally, I asked him for the directions. We were them met by not one by two (!) waiters asking us together where we would like to sit. We didn't know whom to speak as so to say. Finally, after we were shown to our table, we sat down. What striked us the most, is the manic atmosphere at the bar. Everyone (staff, that is) was running around, trying to work out which table to serve order/s, asking suopervisors questions in front of hotel guests, running backwards and forwars to the kitchen in a rushed manner, there was neither organisation present nor sense of calmness. One of the supervisors then sttod literally few steps away from us pulling his trousers up! Not the view I expected in this sort of establishment. We had to ask twoce for the drinks menu, no one tried to talk to us and establish a customer/clientele contact despite the large numbe rof staff available. I had to call someone for the bill as we have had enough after just one drink. Nobody bothered to pay attention to the empty glasses and suggest/offer more drinks/bill. When the bill arrived, the waiter didn't ask a single question about whether we enjoyed our eveing or not. absolutely no contact whatsoever. Manically running waiters, supervisors, and two bar stff cleaning the bar from outside as if it is not Bulgari hotel bar but some kind of cheap, night cafe which was about to close! We couldn't wait to leave. Upon arrival, there was no aknowledgemnt from Guest services either. Two receptionists were arguing (?) or whatever with their supervisor, hence they didn't even look up when we entered. Nightmare to say the least. Upon departure, same story, no good bye, nothing. A bit of advice to the management, Hire people who have not just graduated and haven't got a clue as to how to work with a certain clientele and what 5 star service is about. Hire mature, experienced staff who have stayed and been to likewise luxury hotels, you will benefit a lot. Would we come back? No. Claridges and Dorchester are still favourites.
