The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Me encanta que cuando viaje solo, este restaurante atienda adecuadamente a comensales individuales. Buena comida y buen personal. El Penne Allarabiatta es fabuloso.

I went to eat with my friends last wednesday and at the door we received such a really warm welcome in. The food it is very tasty and Fresh. Service outstanding and i really recommend to try the special seabream where the senior Waiter will fillet for you at the side of your table. 10 out of 10 We will come back, thank you Bucci.

Not open at all. Had a booking but when we arrived whole place was closed up. Apparently its been closed for a few weeks.

We’ve been here many times over the years and have always found it to be of a good standard. So, with that in mind we booked a table for 6 on my birthday. There was a bit of a wait for the table as it was quite busy, so we didn’t mind. The starters eventually came and were ok…… However, I’m afraid some of the mains bordered on inedible… The 2 sirloin steaks were as tough as old boots, and try as we could, even the steak knives couldn’t cut them. They were returned immediately… however, no replacement was offered…, the waiter did say I wouldn’t be charged for them….not that I would have paid anyway. My wife left most of her salmon pasta…which was a sloppy mess and tasted dreadful. My daughter left most of her pizza too, which also fell into the aforementioned category. My grandson, usually one to eat almost anything, was also defeated this time. I would have questioned the whole bill….but my thought was to put it down to experience and just leave. An experience never to be repeated.

We have been here many times and it never lets us down. Service is friendly and the menu is authentic. My Dad and I had a laugh or two with the waiters and there is also a very good choice of wines by the glass. The 40 minute bus journey for us definitely justifies the experience. A la prossima!

Really tasty food and everything was good value, service was exceptional too. Carbonara was different but wonderful and the fiori di latte ice cream also good.

Great atmosphere, delicious meal, friendly staff and really good value for money. We are new to the area and very pleased to discover Barchetta as our new local restaurant! Plenty of choice on the menu, we are looking forward to our next visit.

People rave about this place but something must have changed because it was terrible. The staff were mostly really nice but for one trying too hard to pretend to be pleasant and came across sickly fake. Chicken liver pate that was served somehow with garlic bread. King prawns in two courses which shouldn't be allowed to be called king prawns, quite simply, because they weren't king prawns. Two giant sized mounds of pasta came out with no seasoning, no cooking involved, no flavour. The tomato sauce must have been watered down passata or tinned tomatoes with no additional flavouring on supermarket pasta. Truly shocking. School dinner stuff, a child could have put this together.

This was a very lovely family run cafe , food is freshly made, staff were very attentive, ice cream is freshly made on the premises to an original family recipe .

Lovely restaurant. Food and wine was fantastic. Great service and a really nice atmosphere.

We went for my partner's birthday and had a lovely meal. Quite expensive for what it is given it is just basic pasta although everything we ordered came beautifully cooked, well-seasoned and had balanced flavour. Thanks Team.

Lovely food, service extremely poor. 6 Adults . 1 child . We were shown to our table and asked if we would like any drinks, great start …..food order taken , arrived in good time and presented by a very nice friendly waiter, everything was very nice and well presented, then it all goes wrong , sat with empty plates for a very lengthy time, the table next to us was emptied cleaned and reset. When they eventually cleared the table all the glasses were empty, we weren’t asked if we would like anymore drinks or desserts, we went to the reception area to ask for the dessert menu to be told they are over there, ( 3 members of staff chatting at the bar ) waited a while for the order to be taken, they arrived in good time and were very nice Been a while since I have visited Pacinos and sadly I won’t be back anytime soon .

Excellent and we will be back again
