Tiamo in Barnsley

First visit to Ti Amo, but won’t be our last! The food was excellent, with a varied menu and specials board. The portion sizes were very generous. We had booked and ate early on a Friday evening. Our table was upstairs - the restaurant was already very busy when we arrived. Amazing, friendly and professional staff too. Can’t wait to return!

2nd visit to Ti Amo and the food was even better than the first time, amazing food and friendly staff, the steak fillet is just perfect - we’ve found our new favourite restaurant 💙

This place is phemonenal...there are not enough superlatives. Food is fresh, tasty, varied and huge portions. I had the Linguine pescartarian which had mussels, prawns and squid and I have never had so much seafood in a dish anywhere..even at the end of the dish I still had a dozen fish pieces and king prawns to the last moutful. The biggest shout out though has to be to Alex and his team. The staff are what makes this little independent gem of a restaurant. They are so welcoming. I have met a student who also works here and she has nothing but praise for the owner the chef and staff which shows how genuine they are. It was great to see the restaurant full downstairs and upstairs on a Thursday night in April. There are plenty of parking spaces at the rear. We shall keep returning to this place.

It's the best restaurant I've visited in a long time, and we'll definitely return soon. They cater to both vegetarians and vegans, with plenty of options for children. WOW . . . I’ve lived in and around the area for 25 years and until recently hadn’t been to this restaurant. I am devastated it took so long. The food is absolutely incredible. 5 of us have just been. We had a range of main courses and desserts. All were absolutely incredible. The staff were also absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were all happy. We will become regulars here moving forward as it really is that good. Can’t wait to return already.

Enjoyed a really excellent meal at Ti Amo. The atmosphere was great and a really friendly and welcoming service from all the staff. It was our first time going but the waiters made excellent recommendations based on what we liked. The food was high quality and plentiful. Left feeling very happy.

This is the only restaurant I ever written a review for..so this is my third review for Ti Amo so it just shows how much I value this little local gem. Once again we were made so welcome and the food including the specials are so tasty and very good value. The pizzas are made just as in Italy. The restaurant is mainly upstairs and it was busy on a Thursday ..which had a good atmosphere but no too loud for a conversation. If you have mobility issues or have a pushchair there are a couple of tables downstairs. Plenty of parking at the rear. We shall keep returning to this place.

I’ve been to Ti Amo many times and it is constantly great. The experience starts as soon as you walk through the door with a fantastic welcome from Alex and his staff. It gets better! Fantastic meal (as usual) washed down with fine wine. My wife was in raptures about both her meal and desert as was I. I’d highly recommend this restaurant

Food is exceptional with a great range of special dishes including lamb, seabass, scallops and steaks. Pancakes filled with chicken or beef and sauce are phenomenal as well as traditional Italian and thin crust pizzas. Staff so friendly but not over the top and they make a special effort if you are celebrating something. Prices are very reasonable..basically same price as most pub food today so exceptional value for a restaurant. Plenty of free parking at the rear and main seating is upstairs. Even nicer inside than photos on website. Cannot fault it as it is consistently good quality. Lots of people in tonight (Thursday).

We made a last minute decision to visit Ti Amo and I am so pleased we did! Thankfully they were able to find a table for us due to a cancellation and we were made to feel very welcome by the manager and his team of staff. The food was fresh and very tasty! It was brought to the table piping hot and served with a smile. Thankfully we had room for dessert and I highly recommend the cheesecake. Overall a lovely spontaneous meal out, our first visit but certainly won't be our last.

We have been coming to Ti Amos for years. Alex is a fantastic host, making everyone feel welcomed & valued- especially our kids. Friends have visited with us & found the steaks the best they’ve ever tasted. The portions are generous, good value & delicious....
