The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

The food was amazing no doubt but the service was awful! The waitress took the drinks order and came back twice and still needed to check. I waited a further 15 minutes for my drink. We then waited almost 30 minutes for the staff to come back and take our order. We were told that there was no pita bread, my frown ordered a diet lemonade only to be told later it wasn’t diet after drinking. The margarita had something fizzy in and didn’t taste like a margarita, but having waited ages for. Like I said the food was lovely. We were still eating our starters when they bright the mains out but the table hadn’t been cleared so had to fumble around to make room. Then had to wait for new cutlery. We wanted to order coffees at the end it to be told that there was none. The waiter brought over Tequila shots as an apology for the coffee but there was no lime or salt to go with the shots. Again the food in general was amazing but there was a huge lack of organisation.No loo roll in the loo and it wasn’t busy so we didn’t really get why the service was long it was.

Everyone there are very friendly. You'll have a good time with your friend. The pizza is made with quality product and very light base.

No estaba ocupado el martes por la noche que visitamos para una copa rápida. Carecía de ambiente. Cerveza y vino estaba bien. Los baños (en el sótano) eran todo un paseo.

Passavo di lì quando sento profumo di pesce , e non conoscendo il posto sono entrato quella sera in cerca di qualcosa da mangiare. Sono andato via con: una bella porzione di fritture miste di pesce (il pesce spada? Inaspettato) , e un ancora più inaspettato arancino con i gamberetti che .. 5 stelle subito XD

Pasta increíble - perfecto para un almuerzo de trabajo! Voy al menos una vez a la semana y nunca me canso de ello. ¡Me lleva a la oficina cada semana!

Recientemente nos hemos mudado a la zona y hemos disfrutado mucho visitando The Chorlton Green. Extremadamente acogedor, mucho amor dado a los perros, y un gran grupo de personas, tanto el personal como los lugareños. Grite específicamente a Josh, él es extremadamente atento y siempre está ahí para recargar su bebida! Hemos compartido nuestra experiencia con amigos y familiares y recomendaría esta pequeña joya a cualquiera! ¡Gran trabajo!

My wife and I stopping in at Buns and Buns in the Covent Garden Market for a quick bite last week and enjoyed our selections. She had the calamari salad and I had the spring rolls. Both were very good. The service was very good as well.

The bacon rolls are worth travelling some distance for. Well cooked crispy bacon and a lot of it. The rolls complemented the bacon and the tea was freshly brewed too.

Cheaper to get a flight to Italy and get the real deal. A gelateria like this should have a queue down lower march, and would if it sold it a £1 a scoop!

Mamma Dough is really nice. The restaurant is fantastic. The food and drinks are amazing. The pizzas are delicious. Great restaurant.

Really tasty, fresh pizza. Great service too! The ingredients (pepperoni and other meat, mozzarella) is clearly good quality and the price in crazily cheap for the quality you get. A hidden gem.

Hi so I was invited to my friends birthday on the 7th October was a 18th birthday party. My friend and his twin payed for 50 pizzas which were £400 and and that’s a lot of money to waste and the owner said they will not give a refund because he was adamant that there was 50 and said to my mate we can’t see the cameras. Truth to be told I did not drink and there was definitely not 50 there was no more then 20. Service was bad the staff that were running the bar were 17 and really undertrained and it was a busy capacity I was waiting 20 minutes for a drink. Truth to be told the pizzas were nice but there wasn’t enough. Also another problem why we think that the owner didn’t make all the pizzas my friend had a catering service there that made food at the same time. Sorry this is so long but the last problem was I brought my friend a £76 bottle of champagne and I knew he got a few more bottles to he asked the people behind the bar to look after them and he insisted they would he asked them if they were sure and they really insisted they got took to. So it wasn’t a good night and we are all fuming 😤

** La peor experiencia de reparación - Evite esta tienda de bicicletas caras ** Traje mi bicicleta en la calle 21 de septiembre para arreglar un neumático pinchado y recargar el líquido de frenos. Había tenido la bicicleta desde abril de 2023 sin problemas hasta este momento. Así es como las cosas se volvieron espiral: 23 de septiembre: Recogió la bicicleta, solo para descubrir que solo habían completado la reparación de la rueda trasera, ya que accidentalmente activaron el bloqueo electrónico. El cambio de marchas seguía funcionando bien, así que seguí usando la bicicleta. 8 de octubre: Devolví la moto para finalmente abordar el problema de los frenos, ya que había estado fuera del país hasta entonces. 11 de octubre: Recogí la moto a las 3: 45 pm pero rápidamente descubrió que no cambiaría de marcha, atrapado en el segundo. Volvieron a la oficina para una reunión a las 4 pm, y los llamaron a las 5 : 03 pm. Me pidieron que lo trajera al día siguiente. - 12 de octubre (sábado): Se lo dejé otra vez. Para el domingo, lo devolvieron en la 4a marcha, todavía sin poder cambiar de marcha. Afirmaron que no había nada más que pudieran hacer. 15 de octubre: Lo llevé a un taller de reparación diferente que logró arreglarlo – a mis expensas. 19 de octubre: Pasé por aquí para solicitar un reembolso por los costos adicionales. George, visiblemente irritado, prometió investigarlo y llamar el lunes. 23 de octubre: Después de ninguna llamada, hice un seguimiento y me dijeron que George volvería a llamar el jueves, lo que no sucedió. Pasó de nuevo el sábado, y aseguró una llamada el lunes. 28 de octubre (hoy): Finalmente me respondieron, solo para que me dijeran que niegan cualquier responsabilidad y se niegan a cubrir el costo de la reparación (que era cuatro veces lo que su reparación original me costó). Cada visita me obligaba a salir del trabajo a mediodía, interrumpiendo mi horario. Además, he gastado otras £ 40 en pases de bicicleta Lime ya que el ciclismo es mi principal medio de transporte.

Firstly we enjoyed the Happy Hour but when it came to us having a glass of red wine, we were shocked when the bill was produced at £22 a glass for an ordinary red.

My partner and I had a wonderful meal here with great and attentive service from Clara. We shall definitely be returning! Highly recommended!
