The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Booked a table for Saturday at 7 pm arrived a bit early to find the place shut, several other couples also turned up but still Henry’s remained closed, no contact or reason given for the place being closed, very disappointed, will not be going back.

Disappointing food quality. Decor was ok. Toilet right in front of food prep area and other questionable hygiene issues. Small portions and high prices. Wine list was good but they did not have my first or second choice available.

We haven't been for a while to this lovely Italian. The Restraunt has a a refresh and is bright and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food. Amazing food, we had the crayfish and crab ravioli and garlic mushrooms. The best garlic bread we have ever had. Amazing service and a special mention (nott a "shout out" as I'm English) to Katie, smiling and professional throughout and a credit to the Restraunt, thank you.

I didn’t see all of their 1 star reviews but honestly I’m shocked, disappointed and having to throw out pizza which I can’t believe. See photos for fully BURNT and inedible pizza with NO refund which made this whole experience a waste of time and money. Taking a little extra time and care to provide better food would go a long way.

We would just like to say a massive thank you to Joe and his team! The pizzas were amazing! We had so many complements on how nice they were. Joe catered for all our guest with special dietary needs such as vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. We would 100% recommend you in the future to all our friends who plan to get married they really did go down a treat. Thanks again Joe.

I BOOKED THROUGH YOU GOT A CONFIRMATION AND WHEN I GOT TO THE RESTAURANT AT 9.30 IT HAD CLOSED DOWN. THIS WAS NEW YEARS EVE AND IT WAS TOO LATE TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I AM REALLY UPSET AS IT RUINED MY NIGHT AND I WENT HOME

Super fish and chips purchased at a reasonable price in today’s world. Fresh white fish cooked to order and hot chips what more could you ask for. Highly recommended and friendly service.

What a find I would give it more stars if I could. Excellent food not one thing we could fault and there were 4 of us. We all chose different starters, mains and shared a cheeseboard. Don’t drive by this little gem I highly recommend.

SO disappointed with our recent takeway. Used to be such a great pizza/paste place, always hot, fresh and authentic. Tonight, our pizza looked incredibly unappetizing, covered in orange cheese (presumably cheddar) lacking tomato sauce and with mimimal, low quality toppings. The pasta was supposed to have a bolognese sauce however was nothing like this and seemed to have been made with turkey and was inedible. A complete waste of money and really shocked at the decline of a once fantastic pizza takeaway.

Estaba bastante vacío y nos sentamos en la parte de atrás, donde está pintado como un café italiano al aire libre con árboles colgantes. Nuestro vino tinto y prosecco estaban deliciosos. Compartimos una pizza, que estaba bien, pero el brócoli salteado con ajo era increíblemente delicioso.

Esta fue nuestra primera visita a este increíble y muy recomendable restaurante de pizzería. Deliciosas y fantásticas pizzas cocidas con ensalada verde masiva. Asistente de espera femenina atenta y amable que nos sirvió. Volveré de nuevo muy pronto.

The order took over 20 minutes to come and there was only 4 customers in the shop. Then when the food did arrive, one of the servers left one of my sisters desserts at the end of the table and failed to tell us that the pan was hot, leaving me to burn my hand trying to move it to my sister. Other than that, the desert was well done and tasted great.

Mainly a positive experience. 5 adults and 2 children, 1 child with a food intolerance which they took seriously. Our waitress was very polite and friendly but did forget to bring out one of the children’s meals which turns out hadn’t even been made. When it came it was a very generous portion. All the meals were very tasty and piping hot, apart from my salmon risotto that was too salty. I do love my salt and have a habit of adding at the table, luckily I decided to taste it first otherwise it would have been inedible. I did enjoy the flavour but just failed to finish it, due to the saltiness.
