The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Lea las buenas críticas y tan cerca decidimos reservar. El ambiente era bueno y ocupado, así que pensé que sí. Pedí una botella de vino que se anunció como 22 y luego 29 en la factura, pero está bien. Pero ordené vongole. Era lingüina en vino blanco de ajo con almejas y almejas justas. No hay perejil fresco y nada más la mitad de las almejas no se abrió, pero tan poco de todos modos tenía alrededor de 6 en total. Amigos, la pasta de pollo también carecía de salsa de pollo. 15 por persona para la mayoría de pasta no es bueno. Los postres eran lo mejor de la comida. Pero olvidé nuestros licores pedidos. Al final de la comida no dijo como tbh tan ocupado y una especie de una de las masas pagadas y se fue.

After a long overdue rerurn, we had a delicious, well served meal and my sister, up from Bournemouth who loved it here last time, paid the bill. What could be better? Well done Joshua and team, keep Epping happy !

Excellent food and service in a restaurant which was very busy on a Friday night - great atmosphere without being too noisy - thoroughly recommend.

I Visited Italia Uno for the first time and thought it was fantastic. Proper old school Italian café. No thrills, just a good place to get a bit of lunch and sip a coffee. I get that some people want a bit more from an Italian, probably the same folk who've never been to Italy and think all cafés and restaurants there are sophisticated and elegant. This is real. The Pasta and Panini were great and the Torta de Nonna was just as good as I've had in Italy. The food and coffee in my pictures came to little over £16. I'll be back

Fuimos allí ayer para el desayuno y nos recibió una mujer adulta masticando chicle como adolescente, le pregunté el precio de un desayuno completo y ella dijo £ 9. + pero le dije que lo tiene anunciado por £ 6. 25 ella dijo que todavía masticando chicle que era hace 2 años yo dije bueno creo que ya deberían estar abajo no dejar para confundir a la gente, pedimos el desayuno, cuando llegó el huevo estaba demasiado cocido y no había yema , la salchicha cuadrada era dura así que era el enlace barato y el tocino era masticable no era una comida muy agradable y les dije y el masticador de chicle se paró y sopló burbujas detrás del mostrador no muy profesional. No volveremos este lugar ha bajado colina abajo

Had a great meal (ribeye on the bone) but the service was what made it for us! Thank you Enrico and fiora.. couldn’t do enough for us! Would come back again.

A very pleasant place to enjoy authentic freshly prepared Italian cuisine, good selection of dishes on the menu classic starters of Minestrone soup, Bruschetta & others. Great variety of pizza 🍕 the Calzone was excellent, as were the various pasta dishes we had. All menu dishes were reasonably priced & of sufficient quantity, very nicely presented. Polite efficient service.

Very good Italian joint. I highly recommend the ravioli. Without reservations, you’re very unlikely to get a table.

Everything was great about this except for the food. And it was very expensive. I don't mind paying if it's worth it, but this definitely wasn't.

Took my mum here for mother's day. It was really well priced for what you got. Don't usually say this, but I would have paid more for the food. Service was very good as well and the staff were lovely

Food is good enough but I cannot recommend this place for large parties. Adversarial is the best way to describe the service we received when 9 of us were seated for my son's birthday. Only the set menu was laid out for us. When we asked for the full menu, we were told that usually only the set menu is available for larger parties. With a couple of vegetarians in the party, and others who did not want 3 courses, we asked if some of us could order from the main menu. We were told again that the set menu is usually for larger parties as it takes pressure off the chefs trying to have everything ready at the same time. We advised that we didn't see this on the website and were advised we should have been told when we called to book, we weren't. The waiter started asking who wouldn't be ordering off the set menu and itwhat was they wanted from the full menu, without being given the chance to look at it. We asked again for menus to look at. We were only given 2, I assume this was to stop more of us being tempted to stray from the basic set menu. When the staff member came back to take our order, I and others in my party said we were not quite ready. We were ignored and the orders were taken anyway, without giving us a chance to decide. The food I received was good, but it was not what I wanted to order. If we had been told of their policy, we would have went elsewhere. There was no apology offered, and the half-hearted attempts to accommodate us after their omission in the booking process made us feel like somewhat of an inconvenience. It's hard to recommend a dining experience that leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
