The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

I have been dining at Laghis for a long time. This was probably my last time though. We were told the restaurant was closing down soon. This is a sad news for me. I have had so many nice memories of good dinner with dear friends in Laghi's.

Google said it was open and sign on the wall says open 7 days a week. Definitely not open on Wednesdays or Thursdays at the moment and no phone line to call and check. Such a shameas we'd driven into Aviemore especially 🙁

Second time staying here in Histon and it’s fast become our favourite retreat to spend a few days exploring Cambridge just to get away from the daily grind of life at home. Rooms are perfect, lovely big bed, plentiful bathroom, lovely beer garden and a very welcoming pub for drinks and meals. Having a Tesco opposite the pub meant we could easily get anything we needed while staying. Definitely recommend visiting the cafe over the road while there too. Everything we needed in one place and a very welcoming landlord - we will most definitely be back.

Ordered mussels, wild mushroom brusceta, chilli garlic bread and two lasagnes. And a bottle of red. 7 mussels were delivered. 7 mussels for £7.50 The wild mushroom brusceta was bland. The lasagne had very very little meat and only tasted of tomato sauce and the pepper that was added by the waitress The tomato, chilli, garlic and red onion bread was decent. Overall I was very disapointed. 7 mussels as a starter left a bad taste in my mouth from the get go. The sauce these 7 mussels were in were the best part of the meal. I don't usually leave reviews but this place really dissapointed me. The waitresses seem to be doing there best.

My husband and I went for lunch for the first time today. From the moment we stepped inside it was good. Max, the waiter opened the door and showed us a table. When the food came. My pizza was obviously freshly cooked and my husband had chicken in a mushroom sauce with tiny roast potatoes and green beans. He said it was delicious.. That's all we had and it was reasonable priced...both for 23 pound. We shall definitely go again in a couple of weeks time. Max and Julie were excellent. Highly recommend

We went as a group of 6 and we all agreed it was fantastic food. The tomato garlic bread starter is to die for! Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, will definitely be going back.

Super schattig klein restaurant. Super vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel. Ja het is klein en ja de tafels staan dicht bij elkaar maar dat mag de pret niet drukken, dit geeft eigenlijk veel sfeer. Het eten is voortreffelijk, een pasta en pizza bestelt met als dessert een overheerlijke tiramisu

Went for a Mother’s Day meal with my daughter on Saturday , food was excellent , the lady who served us was lovely very attentive sadly I didn’t get her name but she went above and beyond for us . . The only thing I Could say if I was being picky is that if you sit near the door it was a bit chilly but we didn’t let this spoil out day . . Thank you we will be back .

Brilliant food, and amazing customer service from Christine! We had a group of 6 and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She’s a gem!

Best mushroom pizza in Bristol! Update: mushroom pizza is sadly not on the menu anymore 😭 However, a Margherita with some extra olives is an unbeatable treat ❤

My first time at Don Vincenzo, and I wasn’t disappointed. The menu contained all the Italian favourites, including some excellent looking pizzas. I plumbed for homemade tagliatelle, with pork ribs off the Specials’ menu, which was delicious. The service was timely too. It’s a large restaurant and understandably popular on a Saturday night, which made it a bit noisy. Will try to book a quieter table next time 🙂 🍕
