The portions are generous, and presentation is top-notch. What really sets 3Vesuvio's apart is the service. The manager ( vitor )was present and attentive, checking in to make sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend 3Vesuvio’s for anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine in a warm and well-managed environment.

Amici in my opinion is second to none. This is how a restaurant should be it is beautiful and we where spoiled for choice with the menu and overall experience. Distinctly average food, coupled with pretty poor service. The front of house staff was rather dismissive… didn’t crack a smile once and wasn’t accommodating when asking for a drink that was clearly possible based on available ingredients. A shame, as it looked to be a promising authentic Italian, but didn’t deliver on expectation.

Came with friends and children. The staff were really helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to interact with the children, too. Reasonably priced and good food.

Our favourite place for breakfast in Edinburgh, coffee is wonderful, food is delicious and the staff are so lovely!

Un gran lugar escondido justo al lado de la calle principal. Fuimos aquí para la cena y recibimos una cálida bienvenida del personal amable y tuvimos una cena encantadora, en un entorno agradable. Parecía haber un número de habituales allí, lo que siempre es una buena señal, especialmente porque este era un martes cuando las cosas pueden estar más tranquilas. La comida era de buena calidad y bien presentada. El restaurante ofrece una serie de especiales nocturnos, diferentes cada noche - estuvimos allí para la oferta de Steak Night que entiendo que se ejecuta cada martes y sin duda volveríamos (para eso, o para probar el resto del menú).

As I local, we have had a few scrapes with this restaurant. The customer never seems to be put first, and excuses are always made. Tonight was the final straw. I had a few ingredients for dinner and thought I would purchase a few boiled potatoes to save time. After being hung up on twice. As I live 5 mins away, I thought I would go directly and correct the issue (black burnt suds). The kitchen manager pulled me to the side and started to be very accusatory and rude. He wouldn't listen to my grievance even threatening with police!!!! when I calmly stated his behaviour was not justified. As a local in this community this is not the first time an issue has occurred. We have been overcharged on multiple occasions. I would check your bill.
