The best restaurants serving Irish food in Belfast

Staff waitress couldn't do enough for us I am a senior lady and was being treated to lunch by my grandson who was home for the holidays the food and atmosphere of the place were both excellent I would highly recommend 👌 😀

Como siempre, la experiencia gastronómica fue fabulosa, desde las alitas calientes, lasaña con col casera, papas al ajo y scampi servidos con verduras frescas y papas al ajo, y tarta de queso Snickers con helado y crema fresca. Siempre hay un gran ambiente, un ambiente cálido y amable, y siempre nos deja boquiabiertos por toda la experiencia. La comida y el servicio son consistentes. Nos vamos cada vez con ganas de nuestra próxima visita. Gracias a todos.

Es la primera vez que voy a Bluebells y desearía haber estado allí antes. El menú tiene un montón de opciones, la comida increíble y el personal muy amable. También buena relación calidad-precio y no es demasiado caro. Bonito y acogedor, no hay un montón de mesas, pero también para llevar. Todos disfrutamos y volveremos.

Can't speak highly enough of this place the food is priced well and you will not be hungry when you leave. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and the place is very clean, would highly recommend

We went to the Merchant Hotel for a pre dinner birthday drink as a treat around 4.30pm our dinner was booked for 5.15pm. Our table had the reminants of the previous party, empty glasses and half eaten nibbles. A waiter came and took our order but didn't bother to clear or clean the table. He then took an order for a couple beside us. The couple beside us were swiftly served a pot of tea with nibbles and glasses of water. At 5.05pm I went to the bar area and advised we haven't received our order and we were ready to leave. The drinks arrived at 5.10pm delivered to the drink stained table which we literally had to drink in one go as we were going to be late for our meal and over £30 worse off! Lots of suited staff walking back and forwards looking important but not really doing very much. Maybe when you see customers looking around for assistance you might want to try and help. Service appalling for a Saturday afternoon, dread to think what the evening service is like! Disappointing start to a birthday celebration.

Great place for a quick pint in Belfast. Never noticed it before after living here for a long time but I’ll be back for sure.

Cannot recommend enough. Fantastic food, amazing staff Clean and great atmosphere. I had arrived for the day before my flight to London. I had the three item filled soda. Beautiful. And great value. I came back in evening.. I had chicken curry rice chips. Belly was full Then I went back next morning for breakfast. In originally from lurgan and live in Belfast. England now 20 years. I live in England but northern Ireland is my home.

Gran servicio amable. Excelente ambiente local con una buena variedad para el desayuno y el almuerzo. Buenas porciones y precios justos.

Bit weird at first, bar maid seemed to be taking the mick out of us with the locals. Great singer came on and enjoyed it.

Una cálida bienvenida y comida fabulosa hecha para una noche memorable. Mi esposa y yo no podríamos haber deseado una mejor manera de celebrar su cumpleaños en lo que fue nuestra primera visita a Millar’s Brasserie desde su reciente traslado a University Road en Belfast. Este impresionante edificio no ha perdido nada de su belleza, carácter cálido y encanto de cuando solíamos frecuentarlo en los gloriosos días de Beatrice Kennedy. Al día en 2025, nuestros menús más destacados incluyeron un sabroso toque tapenade en el entrante de langostino y salmón ahumado. Era una combinación perfecta y un equilibrio de sabores frescos. Un gran pulgar hacia arriba también para nuestras dos deliciosas redes. Mi generoso filete de costilla fue suculento y servido con una salsa de brandy y pimienta junto con guarniciones de trufa y papas fritas parmesanas y una selección de verduras asadas con miel. La elección de Christine de la pechuga de pato fue igualmente sublime. Tierno y lleno de sabor se sirvió con ciruelas de soja de caramelo, puré de cebolleta, pastel de fideos y galleta de algas... ¡qué plato tan ganador! Dos deliciosos postres (toffee pud pegajoso y crème brûlée) completaron lo que fue una comida memorable, todo ello bañado con un fino sauvignon blanc de Nueva Zelanda. Y un considerado vaso sorpresa de burbujas también se proporcionó como un bono de cumpleaños para Christine. Nuestro agradecimiento al personal en la noche por tan excepcional servicio y un alto nivel de comida... Christian, Conor, Matthew y Scarlet junto con Andy y Lucas que hicieron su magia en la cocina. ¡Muy buenos chicos!

Me gusta este lugar y he estado bastantes veces ahora. El personal es muy amable y el café es agradable. Pedí los huevos con chorizo, que era muy sabroso, pero me hubiera encantado aún más si hubiera habido un poco más de chorizo en lugar de los pequeños cubos mezclados. El ambiente es genial y los baños estaban limpios.

He estado muchas veces. Comida siempre genial. Porciones excelentes. Personal amable. Las porciones de papas fritas cargadas son masivas. El costo también es decente.

La comida es preciosa, especialmente la hamburguesa de pollo y las patatas fritas son geniales el mejor chippy en la carretera lo recomendaría encarecidamente

Lovely bar with a good atmosphere and a simply menu to get excellent food. The cocktails are fantastic.
