La comida es preciosa, especialmente la hamburguesa de pollo y las patatas fritas son geniales el mejor chippy en la carretera lo recomendaría encarecidamente

We drive across Belfast every week for our Aldo’s fix, best chippy about and at a very reasonable price. Burgers with fried onions, chicken tenders, and curry chips are highlights

I got a delivery from Aldo's two Fridays in a row and I have to say their Sothern Fried Chicken is the best I've every had. It arrived hot and delicious. I am hooked and will be a regular customer in the future.

I bought a chicken fillet burger meal tonight. I was charged £7.30 when it's normally £7.00 and you no longer get a 500ml bottle with your meal deal, it's been downgraded to a 300ml tin. Every chippy gives you a bottle with your meal deal. Overpriced and won't be going back.

Long time since I been here but we decided to call again. I ordered a single cod fish and my friend had a burger with cheese and bacon. My fish was fine and a thick fillet. The burger also was good, So highly recommended.

Don't let the outside fool you. We stopped in for a small lite lunch and just split one fish and chips as we wanted to experience as many places as we could. The fish was really fresh and server was good.

Popped up here after hearing good reports. It is hard to get parked but I squeezed in between trees on the glider bus route. I ordered a battered cod and a sausage. Takes about 8 minutes to fry a fish, and the place was so busy with carry outs and deliveries. So the wait was expected. I drove to a quieter place to eat it. The fish was really fresk with white flakes. The sausage was fine. Chips were not as well done as I would like, but there was so many I could not finish. I fully recommend this and there is a big chippy type menu.

Como siempre, El caballo oscuro nunca decepciona. Stuart estaba en su punto como siempre, whisky y bebidas deliciosas, así como la comida. Contando los días hasta que podamos volver otra vez...

As an ex- pat Belfast born I have been going to the backpackers for years on every visit home. The Ulster fry was always something I looked forward to. NEVER again. Apparently under new management and the difference was unbelievable. First we were kept standing outside for 10 mins after the advertised opening time and could see the staff standing on phones and talking. When we got in the place felt cold and unwelcoming and although the girl that took our order was pleasant I immediately got a feeling that the staff were not a happy bunch. Anyway, ordered 3 fry’s and 3 teas and took a seat of which they had plenty. This is the only time I have visited that it wasn’t busy. Teas arrived quickly enough, then the 3 staff proceeded to have another animated conversation which was the only entertainment as no television or radio. When TWO fry’s eventually landed 20 mins later I couldn’t believe what they set down. When we asked about the other meal we were told”It’s Cumin”. Food was uncooked, cold and inedible. When told the staff were rude and aggressive. Walked out and will never go back. Avoid at all costs , these people do not know what they are doing. Really bad experience. Go to Wetherspoons on Dublin Road for a decent budget breakfast or Maggie Mays if you want more choice.
