Warm, cosy Irish pub. Warm welcome by staff. Menu extensive. Food delicious. Guinness superb. Prices affordable. What's not to like?

Their roast beef in pepper sauce is goofy delicious. The beef is fork tender, the potatoes are perfectly prepared and the sauce is bonkers. Wash it all down with a Guinness and pass out on a street bench. Super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere makes Hercules totally awesome.

This pub is top notch. Helen and the whole staff provide phenomenal hospitality. We especially love Sunday night bingo!

Popped in for a quick lunch, food fine, waitress fine, however listening to the manager scream at staff was beyond uncomfortable, won't be back because of that.

My friends and I were walking around the wall and I needed to use the lavatory. I saw the Anchor Bar so one of my friends and I stopped in. While she used the facilities, I ordered us 2 half pints. The lady tending bar was super friendly as were the folks sitting at the bar. We ended up sitting down and talking to some folks at the next table. We then texted our friends to come join us. We ended up staying for 2 or 3 rounds. The bartender came over and took a few photos for us. We had a great time there. The vibe of the place was just so laid back and friendly. We all loved it. We didn't eat so I don't even know if they offer food.

Had a fab meal at the Clayton Hotel tonight. Lovely menu, really nice feel about the place, didn't feel like you were in Belfast in a good way - plenty of space between tables and a lovely atmosphere where you didn't have to shout to have a conversation! Food was delicious and service was great too. Will definitely return and would 100% recommend.

The bar and bar staff are so nice lovely food great atmosphere, but after going outside to smoke and trying to get back in to my friends a member of the door team refused my entry I had not had a single alcoholic drink he then said I should convince him to let me in then started being inappropriate towards me,The power clearly went to his head I called my friends to come out and we landed up leaving, maybe the door staff need retraining or sacked before we think about coming back

Loved this place the last few years since opening , big changes though , beer on pump isn’t good and no good cider this year either ! Also must eat in the restaurant now and no food in the bar area 😞, and to top that there no traditional menu like previously , just an Asian menu. Disappointed and left to go to the point which we didn’t plan for our night

I have been going in here every time that I am in Llandudno, I will never enter this place again. Myself and my son in law walked in just after ten o’clock on the 15th February, there were customers sat outside with full pints on the table. We were greeted with we’re closed, not that this bothered me but it was the attitude and way it was said. The staff at this bar are usually great but whoever was behind the bar that night needs a refresher on customer relations. I have had many a meal and drink in here but no more, money spends anywhere.

Cuando entramos, tenía un ambiente encantador y bullicioso y era encantador de ver. La camarera fue directo con menús y nos preguntó si queríamos una bebida. Después de un par de minutos, pedimos comida y llegó muy pronto. Estaba absolutamente delicioso. Perfecto. Recomendaría encarecidamente este hermoso café en el corazón de Belmont Road.

Saw the menus on their website & saw the pictures that they had posted & thought that this restaurant looked like the kind of place we would enjoy. What a disappointment! The menu was not what they advertised on their website, when we questioned the waiter about the menu he said that they hadn’t used that one for about 2 months. The presentation of our meals was most definitely not similar to the pictures on the website, the leeks must’ve flown over the leek & potato soup, would not recommend & we were very sorry we had taken our friends there & would most definitely not be back!!
