Had a fab meal at the Clayton Hotel tonight. Lovely menu, really nice feel about the place, didn't feel like you were in Belfast in a good way - plenty of space between tables and a lovely atmosphere where you didn't have to shout to have a conversation! Food was delicious and service was great too. Will definitely return and would 100% recommend.

I was there with my family and alone, in both cases I had a great time, welcoming place, good food, attentive and kind staff

Quieter atmosphere. Service was good, food and portions were fine as well. The pork belly starter was paired well with the jalepenos.

Food was good but unbelievably slow and the portions were laughable. For a Cesar salad we got less than a full leaf, it was maybe 2-3 bites. We had to ask for water 3 times. We know things are a bit tight for service these days but the hotel knew they would have us coming in advance. Currently sitting here waiting for our main course and we have only received our salad in the 90min we have been here. Restaurant isn’t even busy.

Went here for works Christmas Party. Bar staff were helpful but stuffy, no banter at all. I asked for Appletiser instead of wine, i got offered ice with the bottle of Appletiser when i asked for the bottle top to be removed i was told " it is screw top, do it yourself. Background music was depressing. We did not use our free drinks vouchers supplied by our employer we did not want to annoy the bar staff. The C & B servers would not even speak to us. No hospitality Courtesy showed at all. I left as soon as the meal was over. Will not be back.

First of they have the best sticky toffee pudding in Northern Ireland. Second they have a great breakfast buffet. Third they have good beer. Lastly, the people who work here are very nice.

Beautiful dinner in Avenue 22. Our server Mark was excellent and very attentive. His excellent customer service added to a very enjoyable family dinner. Would highly recommend the honey chilli chicken ... it cones both as a starter and a main course. Burgers are fab ... didn't know whether to eat them or climb them lol. Definitely worth a visit. You'll not be disappointed.

Bit weird at first, bar maid seemed to be taking the mick out of us with the locals. Great singer came on and enjoyed it.

Lovely restaurant and whilst the website says it closes at 8pm this is last ordering time. We were booked in as a party of 8 for 19.30 and were in no way rushed out. They were even happy to take desert orders that they warned would take 20mins to prep and staff were cheerful and helpful at all times. Food was amazing. Most had the Excecutioner burger stack (it only defeated the 11 year old!) But the sausages and crispy onion rings, carbonarra and crispy chicken stack were all super tasty also. Range of desserts was good and the indi ideally made crumbles were totally delicious. Lovely space in which to spend a relaxed hour or so with family and friends. Interesting to browse the information about the jail (in the menu and entrance hall rather than the dining room itself which was very comfortably and tastefully decorated with no clichéd references to the location). Highly recommend it as somewhere to eat if you are in Belfast. I will be heading back next time we are over and plan to incorporate with a tour of the Crumlin road jail itself; having checked their website there is an all inclusive package (tour + 2 course menu) that looks like it would make for a great afternoon + evening.

Visited here yesterday for a coffee and they didn’t disappoint! The rich perfectly brewed coffee was delightful, but the little touch of a top hat 🎩 on the side a was brilliant. I also loved their eco-friendly initiative of encouraging customers to bring their own cups. Will definitely be back.
