The Hercules Bar in Belfast

Their roast beef in pepper sauce is goofy delicious. The beef is fork tender, the potatoes are perfectly prepared and the sauce is bonkers. Wash it all down with a Guinness and pass out on a street bench. Super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere makes Hercules totally awesome.

Before I ordered a beer, I've asked "do you have WiFi access?" And they said Yes. Of course they have but it's not working. I asked owner for restart access and he doesn't agree for that - without reason. So you scammed tourist for 5£. Nice. I hope you will invest it into your internet.

We only popped in for one glass of Guinness, but the ladies wanted a cup of tea and were disappointed as it didn't serve tea or coffee !

Food is mediocre and service is ok. For non locals: be careful as waitresses might add service charge automatically even for couples, you can ask to get it removed. I would not go back.

Bar staff were very friendly and put the prem footy on for us, pints were a good price and had a good atmosphere while we were in. Would definitely go again if in Belfast

We had a large group and made reservations day of. The service was excellent! Quick to get food to us and so friendly. I recommend the Hercules Chicken.

Very warm welcome from the barman, we are here now and thought this place deserves a top review for the great friendly service, and the guiness is perfect even better than kellys round the corner which I found had a bitter taste.

Disgusting. No other words. Burger with frozen meat, dry to choke. Vile meat, overcooked bacon. Bad bread. Frozen fries. Three pieces of salad without seasoning. To escape without regrets.

Smashing wee pub looks tiny from outside but very big inside clean tidy all round we were over in Belfast few days n came across this pub . Worth a visit didn't eat in it but had a decent light lunch menu.

We were asked to leave because we wanted to have a drink with our child at 6 am, I find this unacceptable and ridiculous.

Great honest food well priced and run by a lovely family. They saved us tonight (saturday night) and took a group of 12 at short notice and kept the kitchens open for us. I had the pie with champ and it was top class 👏 👌 Thanks again

Just had a drink when my wife went shopping.

We were just looking for a place to play cards and have a pint. Other customers and even the staff watched us disgusted and threw some comments. If you don’t want tourists you should probably state it at the front door. Maybe fine for locals but not to recommend for tourists.

Llegamos tarde a comer (para los estándares del país) pero no hubo ningún problema. Tienen menú del día muy completo y variado (un plato 11£ y dos 13£ bebida y postre a parte) además de que la ración es contundente. Comida casera, buenas cervezas, buen ambiente y unas camareras a cual más agradable y simpática. Si es posible, prefieren dinero en efectivo pero no hay problema por pagar con tarjeta. Había menú infantil.

Our second visit to herculean bar and once again we weren't disappointed. Food and service were both amazing. My wife had the steak and Bushmills pie and I had the chicken and ham pie.

Visiting Belfast for the second time, I popped in here for a few pints. I had been refused admission to Maddens as they have an anti tracksuit bottoms policy, but these guys were fine. Good craic and lovely pint of Guinness! One of the. Cheapest pubs too. Cheers!

TOURISTS DO NOT ENTER!!! Went in as I was working in Belfast. (They heard I was English). Orderd a pint of Guinness charged me 4.50 for 3 quarters of a pint that was deliberately poured wrong and slammed on the bar with it spilling over the edge and going barely above the Guinness label. worst pint I’ve ever had would rate 0 starts if google would let me. Do not go to this pub even if every other pub in Belfast is shut.

Nice local club right in the city centre. Beer flowing and lovely pint. Unbelievable low price for town centre. I didnt have time to eat in restaurant upstairs but menu looks good and will be an eating stop next time I'm in town. Racing on Saturday afternoon and bookies right across the lane, perfect!

Gigged there on Saturday as The Bassman and HER. Had a grand evening and looking foward to going back sometime in the future.

The restaurant has a certain atmosphere which I absolutely loved. The two waitresses were amazing. Kind, thoughtful and made the lunch into an experience. The food is tasty, the selection is wide and the cheesecake is a must have!
