The best restaurants serving Indian food in South Wales

Friendly greeting as always, top food as always. Took advantage of 20% discount but wasn't main reason behind the booking (booked for Saturday at full cost). Still offered exact same service, exact same quality food / portions etc and even added complimentary papadums (which I didn't expect given the discount). They're great guys, enjoy! Sam

The food was delicious and flavoursome. And served in good time. It was Sunday evening, so not too crowded atmosphere. Abdul and his team made it an excellent evening and experience for us. Will strongly recommend.

Good ambience but not authentic Kerala taste,very bland.

I had previously booked a table for a group of 25 people for a leaving party. Arrived there 15mins ahead of booked time to find the building in darkness and a sign saying it was closed due to unforseen circumstances. I had no call, despite taking all contact detail at the time of booking. Sign left in the door by environmental health stated a NUMBER of things about RATS, in and around the food prep areas, food, drinks and their (rat) droppings. Diabolical customer services. Never mind cleanliness. Absolutely disgusting & then to find out the reasons are RATS! In their kitchen, cellar, bar, on their food and cooking utensils etc.

It's a takeaway, how do you mark atmosphere?

First time trying this place and at first was a bit sceptical from seeing how quiet it was inside. However, my partner said we should just give it ago and we were not disappointed! Upon entering, the gentleman greeted us and took our drink orders. We ordered our food which was very reasonable - I did see a review that said the food was overpriced - £9 to £12 isn't overpriced for a curry unless you're used to Iceland's finest. The food was absolutely gorgeous, just the right about of spice and brimming with flavour. So glad we found this little gem and will be returning.

I ordered a vegetable dansaak because that’s what I felt like (I’m not a veggie)! What I got was a potato curry, the sauce was nice and I accept that potato can be considered a vegetable but to have a veg curry that’s totally composed of new potatoes is a liberty! No cauliflower, no carrots, no aubergine! Come on get your act together and give us some delicious veg and not bland spuds 😡

Bit of a shambolic start... Didn't have our table ready and not convinced they had our booking. Finally seated 8 of us on a 6 person table, which was a squeeze - particularly when you might have a curry, a rice and/or naan and your plate... And some plates are oversized (so take up more space than necessary). Also while the table was cleaned, the floor wasn't and was covered in food dropped by the kids previously. The service was great, attentive and friendly. Food was really tasty. Our group generally felt that the spice levels listed on the menu were higher than the real levels. Wish they'd have let me box my own leftovers, as I wouldn't have dammed the naan on top of the curry and have it get soggy.

Absolutely brilliant food went there last night with my step daughter and her partner and husband . The waiter was really funny and the food was sublime. Very enjoyable evening would love to go again . That is why I have given this restaurant 5 stars for everything.
