The staff are incredible with the perfect amount of table service / drinks etc. the food is perfect and they are always willing to adjust dishes to suite. My mum is dairy and gluten free and they took that seriously and served accordingly. This visit was my mother’s birthday and she genuinely had one of the best nights of her life with her family in a great environment. Looking forward to my next visit

Amazing and friendly service, quick and efficient. The food is always consistent and tasty, great menu choice. Would definitely recommend, we have travelled 40 mins and will definitely be back with the family

Not only the best restaurant in Chepstow, but one of my absolute favourites in the UK. Great food, great atmosphere and super friendly staff who always go the extra mile. I go here very regularly and the whole experience has always been perfect. If you are eating with 4 or more people, make sure you order a giant naan bread - they are fantastic!

Had a great time with a group of friends at the Mango House. Food was good especially the Naan bread which was so light and tasty. Prices may be a bit higher than some other restaurants but worth for a good night out. will be back again at some point as now my got to Curry House.

Great food friendly staff beautiful decor will certainly come back. Really impressed. What more can I say. It's like a little Indian holiday in the middle of Chepstow.

ordered for 7pm delivery, order accepted and informed delivery at 7.30pm, food finally arrived at 8.40pm. very disappointed with the timings.

Always had a good experience in the past but tonight was really poor, waited nearly 3 hours for food to arrive and when it did it was cold and the mixed grill was overcooked and very dry. When I chased up the order I was told it was on the way and we still had to wait another 45 minutes. I have requested some form of a refund but have heard nothing back. Disappointing as the service and food is usually excellent.

We visited Mango House as a large group of 37. (No preorder done) the food and service was amazing, food was piping hot all came out at the same time & everything was delicious. The menu was alternative to a normal curry house but was delicious. Really lovely staff. We will be returning

Me and my partner tried the mango house tonight after family highly rating it.. we had the madras and wow best we’ve had the dish was perfect better than other places we’ve tried where the sauce is thin and oily.. keema nan was tasty along with the sag.. can’t fault a single thing.. think we’ve found our new Indian take away.. well worth the drive over the bridge

I recently dined at this exceptional Indian restaurant in Chepstow and was thoroughly impressed. The Lamb Madras, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka, and Saag Aloo were all incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The butter naan was also excellent. The service was outstanding, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The only minor drawback was that the lassi serving size was quite large. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. The snow made the experience way much better.

The best by far. ALL the staff are super friendly, polite but professional at the same time. Never had a bad or below par meal. Good size portions and when you add in the quality of service and cleanliness, great value for money.

After being appallingly let down by a different establishment 1 hour before our booking on Friday night, 18 of us had to quickly find somewhere else to eat for our Christmas family gathering. We imagined we would not find anywhere for that many people on Friday night between Christmas and new year but gave the Mango house a call. The chap on the phone managed to squeeze us in which was amazing. We had a lovely evening, we loved the surroundings but the food was absolutely delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant staff even though our party size meant we were quite demanding. Portions are good, I even had some to take home for my lunch. A massive thank you to the chefs, front of house and management for rescuing our family get together, it was fabulous.

We booked the mango house for a meal before heading across the road to the Priory for a concert. Whilst the meal was absolutely first class I would make the following the points. We booked our table a month in advance for two people at 18.00, I rang the evening before to check the booking was still confirmed as we new the town would be busy, the members of staff I spoke to seemed to know nothing about the booking but could fit us in. On arrival we waited while they scanned the reservation book for our booking and asked my name multiple times then waited again while they shuffled some tables around. Whilst the staff were extremely polite it all felt a little rushed. We have used the mango house Cefn Coed many times over the years as it’s local to us and they seem to suffer exactly the same issues with online bookings.

Wow! What an exceptional Indian. The staff are so incredibly friendly and the food was amazing! My partner is a die-hard Indian eater and said that Madras was one of (if not THE best he's ever had). Stunning restaurant, great vibe and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. 10/10. We'll be back.

We order a lot from here but tonight’s food was not as great as it normally is. Biryani was cold and lacked flavour.

Curries were amazing, good service and nice atmosphere. Some of the allergens on the menu were different than stated in the menu so definitely tell your server if needed. Had Gluten free beer that wasn’t too expensive. Poppadoms weren’t gluten free some of us couldn’t have them on the table which is a shame as most curry places make them in fresh oil. Would return.

We received a very warm welcome on arrival at the restaurant and the service throughout was excellent. The menu was so varied that we were spoiled for choice but we thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we had and the portions were very generous. We had a special promotion with Fork which gave a huge discount, but we would have happily paid full price as we think that both the food and the drinks are very reasonably priced! We will definitely revisit when we are next passing through Chepstow.

Excellent as always. Warm greeting as per usual, clean premises, lovely atmosphere, even on quieter nights. Been visiting for past 2-3 years mostly on and off as have another favourite and usually pay full price (which is reasonable to be fair, price wise) but took advantage of a recent significant discount in the past couple of weeks (stumbled upon chance). No grumble about the discount from the guys there, happy to honour without any issue or drop in quality, none whatsoever. Always well staffed, never needing to look for the waiters for service but at the same time they aren't all over you either, allowing you to sit and chill. Prices fair, service excellent and friendly, place looks the part and the food is excellent. Genuine review, don't know them personally and tbh don't normally leave reviews anywhere so there's a testament in itself. Go check um out and enjoy!

We arrived as a very loud group , celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. The staff were fabulous , the food stunning as always . We had a great night made even better by the staff singing Happy birthday and bringing out an ice cream with a candle . We will return.

Here's the deal. I had just came back from a trip from India, as I had stayed there for 6 months for a business trip. I live in Newport, and on the way to Newport from Heathrow I decided to go Mango house. I wasn't expecting much because I was there for a quick bite. But, when those flavors entered my mouth. I must say, it was TASTY! Nothing in India and I mean NOTHING compared to it! Thank you for the tasty food and I will be back!

Worst customer service ever experienced.

Awful experience yesterday evening and staff were nothing but rude. I had booked a table over a week ago for Saturday evening at 7pm for my engagement meal. This was a meal to celebrate myself and my partners engagement with my family and his family. We had travelled all the way from Gloucester which was over 50 minutes away. The staff called us to see if they could move our table from 7pm to 7:30pm, we said yes that’s fine no problem. Upon arrival we were left waiting 20 minutes, and still no table or seats. When we asked the staff how long our table we had booked was going to be, they told us they had taken walk ins and would no longer be able to accommodate us. The managers refused to ask the other customers to leave who had just sat down at our table and were starting to order their food. His excuse was “ you are regular customers here, these other customers are new” . So basically they had decided to take walk ins because the races were on and not actually accommodate the people who had booked. Clearly thought they could earn more money from the drunk race goers than their regular loyal customers! The manager was so rude towards us and started arguing with us, even though he knew what he had done was wrong. Will never go back to the mango house and will not recommend to anyone. Worst customer experience we have ever ever experienced anywhere. Engagement meal ruined for us and our families and had to leave and travel over 50 minutes back home.

My brother had a table booked weeks in advance for an engagement celebration. At first they pushed us back half hour, which was ok. We arrive at the time they pushed is back to, waited around for 15 minutes for them to say we don't have a table for you. Waiter ended up getting rude also. Would not recommend

Food was great! A little bit late.

Delicious food. But service poor. We were forgotten and served well after a table who arrived later. We'd waited almost an hour so we were justifiably hangry. Food was just plonked on the table rather than being served. Even when very busy these small details must still be done well. More training for young waiting staff needed.

Usually have no issues when ordering, as have ordered multiple times before but tonight’s order was late and some of the items came cold, they said it was out for delivery at 7.15 but it didn’t arrive until 7.45, when the drive doesn’t take that long. Waste of money tonight.

We ate here on a Sunday evening at the end of our trip to Chepstow. The staff are really friendly, the restaurant is nicely decorated with plenty of space between tables so you don't feel overcrowded. The food was delicious, good portion sizes. I would recommend eating here when you're in Chepstow.

First time visit. Enjoyed the food , atmosphere and the very pleasant staff. Next time might miss a starter as we really had too much to eat! We'll definitely be going back. (One slight improvement might be to get some air movement in the restaurant. With 3 people eating sizzling platters the temp got a bit too hot)

Mango house is the best Indian food you can buy!!! Very affordable and good quality food with extremely good customer service who are friendly and helpful. I struggled to choose a dish since it all sounded so good but the waiters recommended me the best of the best! King prawns for the starter was amazing the best king prawns I’ve ever had and will deffo come back. My friends also enjoyed the food as I brought them for my birthday and was a nice treat for all of us. The atmosphere was beautiful and had a nice vibe to it creating that relaxing feeling. Thank you mango house for the brilliant food and service! Will see you guys soon again!

We often dine in mango house as the food & service is always spot on but last night it was exceptional. There was a group of 26 of us, the staff were attentive, we had buffet style and the amazing food just kept coming out. 10/10, would definitely recommend this place.

BEST LOCAL INDIAN Came for the first time and will be back! Beautiful restaurant, great selection of food all clearly labelled for spice level and dietary requirements. Staff were so lovely and attentive. Food was so fresh and delicious.
