Does what it says on the Tin. The staff were really nice. The service was excellent. The food was pretty ok too, but that is for individual pallete I guess, however it is good honest food.

Fantastic authentic tasting food. Best onion bhaji we have ever had and the lamb in the Karahi curry was so tender! All round great meal & service! BYOB, another bonus & amazing value for money! Will be returning for sure and highly recommend!

We went there for my wife's birthday dinner and it was fantastic. The ambience was great, and there was plenty of seating. The food was worth it - the portions were huge, and the taste was top-notch. They also have a fantastic selection of drinks. We tried the TANDOORI PANEER TIKKA, which was a real treat, and for the main course, we had the creamy and delicious DAL MAKHANI with LACCHA PARATHA and TANDOORI ROTI. The roti was so fresh, and the paratha was good and unique! Overall, I would say this is the place I would visit again and recommend to others.

Came up to Edinburgh for the weekend staying at the Village Hotel where they recommended heading over to Leith for dinner. It was a last minute thing so phoned to see if they could squeeze us in on a Saturday night which they could @8pm. On arrival I was, to be perfectly honest, a bit dismayed as the restaurant looked tiny and I was worried! We were early, so had to wait outside for a few minutes so used the time to nip over the road to buy some wine. Pretty much bang on 8pm we had our table albeit next to the door which was a bit cold, but she promised to move us as soon as she could and she did! I can honestly say, that my initial apprehension was completely un-founded, the food was absolutely fantastic, as was the service and was quite possibly the best Indian I have ever had. Definitely recommend this restaurant, but make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment!
