The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Possible the best takeaway I’ve ever had! The food was restaurant quality with a good selection of vegetarian options. The Kumb Padhina Tikka was a standout starter. The service and waiting area were brilliant too. I will definitely be going back!

Postbox is a real gem among Indian restaurants that can be found on the map of London. The owner and staff were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is amazing. The food is so good , brings back memories of being back in goa. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try goan cuisine. You won't be disappointed.

Great for sharing with friends! We got lots of dishes to share. Yummy yum yum I love tapas! And bathroom was clean and cute btw.

What a wonderful place this is. It wasn’t open but the owner came to the door and told us to come back in 10 minutes. He gave us free popadoms and pickle trays (there was 5 of us). The food was lovely, really tasty and fresh. I would totally recommend and will be back again. Staff and service was excellent. It was for my birthday. I was served a pudding with a candle in and we got free Baileys each as well.

Best meal out ever - loveliest staff - so so delicious! I loved the pakora! They will top up your food as many times as you want so amazing value as well.

A wonderful experience at The Rajdoot. The TA rating encouraged us to grab the overground from Kings Cross to visit this highly rated venue. Mr Elin welcomed us throughout the time and respected our preference for drinks first, and food ordering later. Sometimes venues want to rush you through. Not here. When we were ready to order Elin was ready. We wanted spicy and after explaining we like “hot”, Elin suggested a change to the Chicken Naga. Yes it was hot but delicately balanced. Service was impeccable and food a delight. We would return if not for the 14000 kilometre ride from Australia. But yes we would return

Such a fab restaurant. Tucked away behind the main bar area but a great find. The food was excellent and the staff really attentive, regularly topping up our glasses, and we were drinking just tap water. Definitely recommend 👌
