My daughter has raved about this restaurant & I finally got to go. Simply one of the best meals out I've ever had. My advice, definitely go for the Grande selection. The extras with that are absolutely worth the money. I hate beetroot but even the gazpacho was amazing! With the No Soul Goes Hungry policy you'll definitely feel you've had your money's worth. The service could not have been better. Incredibly friendly & welcoming and the server explained all the dishes. Shame I live in Worcester, bit far for takeaway!

Amrutha has the loveliest staff, the most delicious food, hearts as big as a billionaires pockets & an ethos of kindness, generosity & inclusivity ! I adore Arvin, co-owner & front man. You can't miss him, with the biggest smile & most welcoming vibe. I went there with my son a few weeks ago, when we met a new recruit, the delightful Kat, who served us with grace & knowledge & kindness. She's another asset to the already wonderful Amrutha. Highly highly recommended, for both the food & the beautiful staff.

What a wonderful time we had eating at this lovely restaurant. The team at Amrutha here was absolutely attentive and sweet to all of our wants, and generous to our stomachs. Deliciousness and quantity were unlimited in no short demand, we will be back for sure!!

Have been here before ages ago and we had simply loved it! This time we wanted to celebrate my daughter's birthday, so went again but we feel our first experience was the best. Every dish was freshly cooked, but some of them were lacking something- don't get me wrong, it was nice,fresh food and well worth the money spent, but some dishes were not as delicious as others. Having said that, the staff was super warm and courteous. And most important- they took very good care of all the food allergies and intolerances we requested- so one extra star for that!

I recently had my birthday here with 23 of us and Amrutha made it spectacular. The staff were so accommodating ensuring everything was perfect for the booking and were incredibly attentive for my friend with a nut allergy. The food was amazing, everyone was so impressed with how flavoursome every dish was and better yet, bottomless! Likewise the BYOB made for a great buzzy vibe, and paired with the set menu made splitting the bill so easy. Truly the best place for a birthday and exactly what I was after. I can’t thank the friendly staff enough! ❤️❤️❤️

Came here with a large birthday party and had the tasting menu, all the food was incredible and the staff were amazing. We were so full and even had leftovers to take away.

what a lovely evening!! I went there for the first time on a date and the food was phenomenal (we were given an upgrade on the menu, as we hadn't been there before!), the music playlist was perfect and the service was stellar. shout out to Georgio, who was incredibly sweet and friendly, and made the atmosphere so wonderful it was hard to leave when we were finished!! got an on-the-house cup of herbal tea with the bill 😄

Came down to London from Yorkshire to see my son and girlfriend, he was extolling the food at Amrutha and booked us in for Saturday night. Now Yorkshire and vegan normally don't occur in the same sentence, but what can I say, It was some of the tastiest food I have ever had! They should bottle the coconut and beetroot chutney, they would make a fortune! I can't decide if the food or the staff were the best but we will call it a tie as they were both excellent! Would highly recommend as they were so nice and the food was so good.

Vegan restaurant offering tapas Indian style dishes

We turned up on a fully booked evening having made a reservation at the other location by mistake. Despite how busy they were and the size of our group they made every effort to fit us in last minute and were so lovely and thoughtful, I couldn’t be more grateful for them managing to seat us for my mum’s birthday. That’s not even to mention the food which had everyone blown away: believe the hype, this place is incredible!

A beautiful dinner here tonight! The staff are beyond kind, the atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and buzzy, even on a Tuesday evening! Food was incredible, the kale salad, the tofish, all SO good. Finished of with the pumpkin cheesecake. Already planning my next visit!

Visited with our vegan daughter and had a wonderful meal. Loved the fact that all food is shared and that no food choices need to be made, except whether you have 9 dishes or 12, and you can eat as much of any dish as you like. We had the 12 (and several refills) and took the leftovers away in containers. This unusual place (when did you last visit a no-corkage bring your own booze restaurant?) is a real find. BTW lunch on Friday's is free if you're 60+. I'm 73, and will be back...

I am obsessed with this restaurant. We've been coming for years, for casual dinners and for celebrating various birthdays, house moves etc. The food is delicious and the owner and staff are always kind and welcoming. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere and they are always very generous. Would highly recommend and I can't wait to try out some of their specials nights

Delicious vegan food, you have a choice of 9 or 12 different dishes to share and are getting refills as you like. The staff is amazingly friendly, fast and helpful, a most wonderful experience. Really nice atmosphere, try for yourself.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had

Had a really good meal here and would absolutely return. We only ordered the standard set menu, but they upgraded us to the full menu and even gave us a tofu "fish" dish to try, which I would highly recommend. They also had this yoghurt type dip thing which was delicious as a dip, but also to drink on its own. Service was also great and our server was super friendly and informative. Plus I like that they don't add a service charge on and just allow you to tip as you please.

Best vegetarian restaurant in London, the 'Grande Menu' is a must! All the different dishes are extremely tasty, it’s an explosion of flavors with varied tastes and colors! A real pleasure for the eyes as much as for the taste buds. If you have a big appetite, you are always stocked with everything! The team is very welcoming, always in a good mood, and you come out with a doggy bag if you don't finish your dishes. Highly recommended! Passing through tooting market with my 10 y/o daughter and our friend, also 10 y/o, we were offered a taste of pakora by a very smiley south asian guy. I gladly accepted as did the two girls. To my delight, both children went back for more! Arvin shared my pleasure seeing these two girls light up at his pakora and offered us an entire bowl. I asked him how much that would be and he refused to take payment and explained his moral philosophy. He then said that he was about to close up and offered us a full meal to take away, which again, I gladly and very gratefully accepted. We had a great chat about generosity, spirituality, nurture, food and ultimately the different ways that we can show love to one another, the planet and share the best of ourselves, whilst also allowing ourselves to receive the best offerings of others. The entire conversation and the delicious meal that we took away was truly food for the soul. Nourishment for body and being. It was a delight to eat something that was prepared with love, enthusiasm and generous thinking. Thank you Arvin. After such a long shift, my family and I had been craving Amrutha lounge. We had our usual order and had also tried the new Caribbean curry (as per the suggestion of the lovely person taking our order) and it was amazing. Amrutha’s food and customer service never disappoint ♥️

Myself and my wife are not vegans, a friend we went with is. We all really enjoyed the food. I must say this place is absolutely wonderful. Both the food and the staff are amazing. The manager is one of the nicest people you could meet. Definitely recommend:

Had the sharing platter, £34 pp. was supposed to be unlimited refills but half an hour into the meal, 8pm, we were told it was last orders and the kitchen was closing. The food was ok. Lots of variety. Pricey if you don’t get refills.

We opted for the grande menu option which is a wonderful selection of 12 dishes with unlimited refills. My husband is not vegan, but really enjoyed the dishes, especially the tofish (recently brought back to the menu), Caribbean curry (new addition to the menu) and the pakoras. We didn’t have much room for dessert, so we opted to share a slice of cheesecake which was delicious! I really like that the food is healthy, organic, locally sourced (when possible) and made with love. One of their policies is that no one goes hungry, so if you are in need of some vegan soul food you can volunteer to help by maybe doing some washing up. The staff are so welcoming and friendly which was lovely. We enjoyed our dining experience and can’t wait for our next visit Well done team, Amrutha 💚

Not a vegan and didn't really know what to expect, but the food was delicious. Not the usual recipes that you'd find in your every day curry house, fresh tasting and enjoyable. They top up the dishes when you finish them so everyone eats until they are full essentially. Wasn't sure about the one time I had dessert (may have just ordered the wrong thing) but the food on the whole was really tasty. On top of it, really good value and BYOB. Have been there 2-3 times now and fully intend to go back.

I visited this stall at Tooting market and they offered me a free pakora to try. It was so delicious I ended up going back and ordering a whole dish! The owner Arvin is one of the friendliest, kindest and generous people I have ever met. The rest of the staff are also super lovely. I have yet to try the restaurant but based on my experience here I am very excited to do so 😋

I went here as a group of 7 ladies to celebrate my friends birthday. The did bring out a dessert with candle as requested. A lovely table was reserved for us as we paid a deposit of £10 per person. From the start the staff were most welcoming and knowledgeable about the items on the menu including the own blend herbal tea severed with the meal. The waiter was able to describe the ingredients/health benefits of all the dishes. The was great at as it was all delicious vegan food with a south Asian inspiration. The food was such good quality and delicious you will forget it's vegan. I recommend the Grande selection. It's served as many dishes that can are shared and can be refilled on request.

We were recommended this restaurant and wow it is great. We chose the Grande menu option which gives you a fantastic selection of dishes and they offer you free refills (if you have room). The restaurant also operates a bring your own bottle policy as it isn't licensed. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We are not vegetarians or vegans but the food was so good I would definitely return. Enjoy if you choose to go.

This was our first time coming here and we felt so welcomed, the experience was amazing. It was also my first time going to a vegan restaurant and trying new food thier. Would 100% recommend coming. The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and the atmophere was genuinely amazing, friendly and easy going. A great time, with amazing food , a great atmosphere, good music and amazing staff. The dessert was really nice, we had one of the cheesecakes of the week, the one we had was tiramisu cheesecake. We had to take it home as we were so full from the meal. We'll definitely be revisiting!

I was compelled to visit this restaurant after hearing a friend wax lyrical about it. I was not disappointed. Incredible food with every mouthful popping with flavour. The staff were pretty amazing too! As an added bonus they can make the menu 100% Gluten free for those with Coeliac disease.

This vegan restaurant is one of my favourite places to eat! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is incredible. I have brought several meat eating friends here and they have raved about the flavours and variety of tastes in the menu. What’s not to love about UNLIMITED tapas?! It’s great value for money and they will happily box up what you can’t finish plus you can bring your own drinks and they don’t even charge corkage!

Had an amazing meal. Everything was so delicious and fresh - I've neve left so full but without feeling sick! Daf looked after us really well, giving plenty space so we didnt feel rushed but also checking in to see if we wanted our refills. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed tasty meal!

This is a restaurant well worth a visit. Adorable and friendly staff, tasty, fresh top quality food and a relaxed atmosphere. An advance booking is a must: Our family sat down at 18:00 when the restaurant opened, and nearly all the tables were instantly occupied. We ordered "original selection" but were served the larger one as a compliment. All the dishes were tasty, suprising and filled right away (bottomless). The dishes were presented by the staff and they even hinted which dishes suit together. We even received a complimentary dessert with their self-made tea which was absolutely delicious. Most importantly: Our children, who had not had vegetarian food before, were both suprised that veggie food can actually be this tasty and diverse. They also enjoyed the self-made soda drink a lot. We will definitely be back one day.

I've been coming to Amrutha since it opened back in 2018, I believe. Despite the years passing by, the charm, food and atmosphere the restaurant provides, has only improved with time. For the price, there is such a great selection offered, which is generous in both serving size, flavour and texture combinations. The interior is so cosy and the staff are extremely kind and friendly. Daniella served us today and it was lovely to chat with her about the layering of flavours in vegan food. I could rave all day about the kale salad; dressed to perfection and topped with a menage of chewy apricot, crunchy and sweet goji berries and crispy sunflower seeds. Equally, the beetroot gazpacho with colours of pink, white and green, the perfect "shot of heaven", so silky smooth and creamy, it's a delight for the taste buds! You couldn't possibly leave the restaurant without a happy tummy full of nourishing, rich and flavourful food that lacks not one thing. I hope more and more people get to experience the beauty of Amrutha and that the lovely humans that create the dishes continue to pour their love for veganism and cooking in to every single plate that leaves the kitchen. A perfect meal! The food was absolutely amazing and the portions are huge. The beetroot gazpacho is to die for! The atmosphere of the place is relaxed and inviting, made even better by the friendliest staff!

Everything was perfect - the hospitality was unbelievable. Gave us unlimited food top ups, incredible flavour, free tea and extra dessert on the house. Can’t fault them. Also immaculate vibes, perfect for chilling all afternoon.

Really good vegan food, we ordered the tapas style grande platter for £34. It came with aubergine pakoras, coleslaw, falafels, coconut lentil curry plus some other bits. The tapas was a buffet style straight to the table and we brought our own alcohol. The service was great and really friendly with a good vibe. Highly recommend

The food was absolutely delicious. Dafi and Sabi were our servers and they were so friendly and helpful. It felt like home and everyone went the extra mile to look after us. Would wholeheartedly recommend. We’ll be back.

We have visited Amrutha as a family since it opened and have always thought it was our favourite restaurant however our recent visit has changed our opinion. I booked several weeks ago for 9 people for a birthday celebration. The staff member was quite dismissive on arrival as we explained we were a party of nine not seven (7 places were set) We were rather cramped and the food although delicious as usual was not as good as on previous visits. The price is higher and the diversity of dishes lower. There was no mention of the birthday which on booking I had been told would be recognised and I had mentioned on booking that one of the group required less sugar as they are type 1 diabetic. We had our 2 hours and were reminded that the table was needed for the next sitting. We enjoyed ourselves but were disappointed.

Excellent food , service and atmosphere. 3 of us had the shared spread of very well balanced food . We bought our own wine and were not charged for the corkage . The meal was filling but light and I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. I t travelled from Richmond with a walking aid and it was easy . Assistance from n Richmond Clapham and Earlsfield second to none! A very good experience.

I can only sing hymns about this place. The food is not just delicious but heavenly harmonious and a real vegan feast for the soul and the heart. Even though I visit regularly there is always something slightly different and even more harmonious tone in every dish. We visited tonight for a monthly special themed menu. This time it was meze. Beautiful Mediterranean style menu but definitely with a unique Amrutha touch. 🌺 People are amazing and welcoming as if it was their home or a friend’s place. I’d highly recommend anyone visiting and enjoying this beautiful soulfood place. 🥰

Arvin who is the owner of Amrutha is such a wonderful host at this fabulous restaurant. He gave us such a warm welcome, as he always does. I went with my sister, daughter-in-love and my grandson. We were treated to the most delicious food which was piled high with all the best ingredients and top ups were available if we had room for more! The food is made with love too, you can taste it. Even non-vegans will be surprised at the variety of delights offered. I highly recommend you to treat yourself to a visit here, the atmosphere is so friendly too. I really can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The food is vegan and absolutely delicious whether you're vegan or not. The kale salad, pakoras and cashew cheese are particular favourites. The service is great - efficient and incredibly friendly. The vibe is relaxed and positive - the restaurant is quite small so book early to avoid disappointment. Prices are really reasonable and BYO is encouraged. All in all one a great dining experience.
