The best restaurants serving Indian food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Sauce was tasty but the meat was really tough. Rice was good.

Came here the other day and had a lovley experience, the owner was amazing and very welcoming the food here is better than any other curry place I’ve been to, will definitely be coming here again!

Fantastic tasting food later in delivery - the guy did apologise and explain that they where a driver short and very busy , overall lovely tasting food we ordered the Sunday deal 40.00 well spent 4 starters , 4 mains , 2 sides , 2 naans. ❤️

Food was good, delivered on time.

The 3 star review of this place is very harsh, my food came prompt and the portion size was huge for the price, delicious mixed started with onion bhajis that were delicious (as well as the other items). The curry was good for the local area, probably on the better side to be honest. I only rate it 4 star as I’ve been to some fantastic places in Bradford so comparing it to them. I would 100% recommend and will get a takeaway again from here!!

Chips come plain. Ordered one with grated cheese and the other with cheese sauce. Pizza was nice though

Curry amazing! Been going 40 years

I was staying nearby for the night and decided to eat here . I turned up without booking on a Monday evening and although it was quite busy they found me a table. I ordered a few dishes and I must say all very good. Great service and a nice venue.

Went in and picked the currys that I wanted. Was told cash only, even though the card machine was next to the till which i pointed out. Lady on the till said its messed up and to go cash point round the corner, but it was out of order. Came back to the shop and said out of order, then randomly the lady said to try the card machine as it may work some how, so I questioned this and said why didnt we try first before i had to go to widrawl cash in the first place? Then, some guy in the black shirt said to just try the card machine and see if it would work, but i refused. I asked them why they were lying initially about the card machine, to which they said management told them to lie to customers saying its cash only. Wonder what they are trying to hide by doing cash only? Also, is their food really fresh, or is that another lie management told them to tell people?

Picked up a takeaway, coming from the train station. Basically, disappointing. There's much better indian food in York than this, and York isn't exactly a hot bed of Indian food in the first place. Biryani in particular was one of the worst ones I've had anywhere.

Food was delicious, service second to none

Gave up on this place after ordering about 6 month ago online to wait 45 mins before then been notified they couldn’t take order despite taking payment. I was refunded eventually but didn’t trust again for a while. I thought I would give it another chance today but fell foul of the exact same thing. No answer to the phone, it still shows open online, and yes my money has been taken. Fingers crossed I get my money back. Please don’t waste your time on this place!

Just one of the best meals in a long time great service menu was so vast spoilt for choice. Everything we ate was fantastic
