AAGRAR in Leeds

Came here at the beginning of October for my son's 12th birthday as it's his favourite restaurant. There was a large family group of us. The service was brilliant. Staff were friendly and happy to help. The food was amazing, with plenty of options to choose from including my favourite, lamb karahi. The staff member working on the lamb chops and ice cream was enthusiastic and made you feel welcome to approach. My son enjoyed his birthday here and we all left on positive vibes due to the great food and service we received.

A little bit pricey for the buffet , food quality 4/10 , variety 6/10 & taste 5/10 . Seating needs to be reorganised , feels too cramped . Prices need to be looking into seriously

The buffet is exceptional and excellent value for money. The choice is amazing and I’m vegetarian. A large salad bar, starters (garlic mushrooms are fabulous) a wide variety of mains plus rice, garlic naan etc Plus a surprisingly good choice of desserts.

I am so angry, I ordered 2 main meals to be delivered tonight. When it got delivered my partner noticed one of the curry’s were in the same size side tub as the salad. I called the restaurant up and made them aware they had made an error and we paid for full main meals. After speaking to 3 people, the last guy on the call said to me “we’ll just next time let us know and we will send it out”. I replied “absolutely not I have ordered my food I expect the goods I have paid for”. He then went on to say the portion was a decent enough size and what was the issue. I said the curry was for me and me son and then he started laughing down the phone at me. I have never ever had this bad of a service!!! Do not order from here. Disgusting service and reluctant to send you the food you have paid for.

We've been to the Aagrah at Garforth many times, but on our latest visit, I was served one of the best curries I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I decided to try the Palak Gosht with Pilau rice, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this dish and I look forward to ordering it again on my next visit. Please try it!

Comí aquí en un viaje de negocios en la zona y era refrescante ver un cambio de los platos indios estándar en el menú. La comida se sirve muy rápidamente y estaba bien presentada. Mi única crítica es que el servicio es bastante directo del cliente, pero eso es algo sin importancia (he tenido mucho peor!) en resumen, lo recomiendo este restaurante.

We've eaten at various Aagrar's in the West Yorkshire area over many years but this one at Garforth comes up best for food and atmosphere. The restaurant occupies an old primary school building to the north of the town, and is set on it's own with plenty of car parking. Friends regularly use it for its take-away but we would much rather be waitered on, and they are a good set of lads.

I am not a big fan of Indian restaurants but a friend took me along. I must say I was won over. The initial welcome can only be described as surly. But the waiter was a little more friendly. I looked the menu expecting more of the same recipes and it largely is. But I did find a couple of small differences. For instance I had chicken livers for a starter and they were delicious. Next time I visit Garforth I will hopefully return here. Apparently there is a chain of them. Their sauces have recently been sold by Tesco let's hope they do not lose sight of their original business

After finally finding the restaurant which is a bit out of the way but has a large car park, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.The food was some of the best Indian the 3 of us had tasted and there were some dishes that are not usually found on more run of the mill restaurants. The service was great and the food was good value for money.A great evening with excellent food.

Whilst staying at nearby Holiday Inn, searched for a Indian restaurant on google and found this. Managed to book a table whilst en route to hotel but only for 6pm.Upon arrival, greeted by friendly staff and shown to table.Excellent ambience and decor. Restaurant filled rapidly.Food was excellent. Popps and pickles, the mango chutney and mint/cucumber dips have a kick one does not expect, beware!! Wife was impressed with cod loin cooked with spices, hot! Best fish dish she has ever had! I have Chicken Jalfrezi as I always do anywhere I go, it was cooked with egg and no onions or peppers which was strange to me. I wouldn't choose that again but it was cooked to perfection as was the rest of the meal.Staff were extremely efficient.Would go there again or to one of their many other restaurants in the chain.

doncaster is fab make u feel wecome all the staff go uot of their way to make it special we come from dukinfield to doncaster thats how gud it is
