Not sure if we ordered from this takeaway durning an ‘off night’ or our experience was consistent with other orders. But it was an extremely poor and expensive takeaway. Meat was poor quality. Sauces had just been cooked with no flavour. If you enjoy a curry and have expletive of good curries. Either go over the road. Or by a jar from the coop at a fraction of the price.

Actually ordered a take away which was delivered got to say it was perfect in every way and really good size portions I rang the restaurant to tell them how pleased I was with the meal as I believe in giving praise where it’s due could not fault it

Came here with my partner for dinner. Everything was delicious. The thalis tasted so fresh and we both had sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Great atmosphere, service and friendly staff. Will be visiting again!

We were staying in Truro on a Saturday night and decided last minute to try the Kathmandu Palace. Rang them at 4.30pm and although they were incredibly busy, they said they should be able to accommodate the two of us at 7.30pm. Arrived at 7.25pm and our table was all ready for us. The restaurant was indeed full, including two tables of eight, which was a very good sign. We started with onion bhajis, poppadoms and a pickle tray - all delicious and well presented. Our mains were chicken shashlik and chicken labadar, with a shared mushroom rice and cheese naan. Everything was beautifully cooked, piping hot and the portions were generous. We had one lager and two glasses of excellent house red wine, bringing the bill to £58, making it incredibly good value. On top of this, the staff were all incredibly friendly. We can’t wait to get back to Truro, when we will be booking a table at the Kathmandu Palace well in advance. They deserve to be so busy so make sure you book early!!
