Fabulous food, excellent staff - would recommend highly. Good allergy list and the waitress was great with finding out if the gulab jamun was suitable for me.

Possibly the best Indian meal I have ever eaten! The fish curry was exquisite and the meat just as delicate with wonderful hints of Star anise. Lovely service too - a genuine smile means so much - thank you all so much

We had a great dinner at Sunny Spice Lostwithiel. We shared 2 appetizers and 2 main courses (the chicken Biryani and a mixed fish platter) and jt was delicious!

A not-so-kern hot curry eater…The mild chicken dish, onion bhaji & Peshawar naan bread were absolutely delicious. The lemon rice was heaven!

Collected a takeaway from sunny spice our local Indian restaurant in Lostwithiel, and as always whether we book a table or a takeaway the food is always fantastic, a great friendly atmosphere and service. A regular favourite of ours

First visit to Sunny Spice: a small restaurant with calm, friendly, attentive service. The food is delicious with individual flavours subtly discernible. Particular recommendations for the peshwari naan, the vegetable biriyani and the chicken tikka shashlik.

Our meals at Sunny Spice were one of the main highlights of our week in Lostwithiel. Fabulous food and friendly service. The fish curry was particularly memorable. Portions are big so we were able to take left overs home for the following evening.

This was a very special meal, freshly cooked and with nothing too much trouble for the staff. I'm vegan, and there was plenty of choice. The meals were completely delicious (and they mixed their own spice blends I think). The staff were just lovely. Next time I'm back in Cornwall this will be a must-visit. Also excellent value for money.

A visiting friend and I went one Thursday evening and were delighted to find such excellent vegan fare amongst an extensive range of freshly made food. I cannot rate both the standard of the food and the friendly service highly enough. It offers something for both a special treat and a simple evening meal. They do takeaway too!!

We have been to Sunny Spice several times now and never been disappointed. It was my daughter’s birthday so we were celebrating. The service was great and the food amazing . I couldn’t eat all mine and was able to take it away with me . It is all cooked to order and the chutney and sauces aren’t watered down like I have had in other restaurants. Other daughter was vegetarian and there was a good variety for her to choose from on the menu We plan to go again soon

Descended upon a good friend, for his birthday. Ordered, as we generally do, a takeaway for the always lovely young lady there. Timely pick up as per usual. All the meals, Madras's, Byriani's, Korma's, along with the naan's, sides like Sagaloo, Bombay Aloo, onion Bhaji, were all both plentiful, with quality ingredients and cooked so well. So consistent here and great to see they've expanded into St Agnes. An excellent meal.

We wanted a take-away and read reviews...... we were not disappointed! Great service and really great food! We will be using this service again for sure!

A tiny restaurant that packs a punch in terms of food, service, and welcome. Book because apparently they are always busy. Great Indian food from the south. Intimate and food freshly cooked so be prepared to wait a while. Plenty to choose from and with a dish of starters then just enjoy the wait. Lovely staff and actually friendly locals who shared their favourites.

Heard about this restaurant via a FB review. I have now been here 3 times in 4 weeks. I particularly like the Goan Fish Curry & the Dosa options. The restaurant has a number of Vege & Vegan options. Love Sunny Spice

We asked one of the local people to recommend a place to eat (Wanted something special as it was our 39th Wedding Anniversary) they recommended Sunny Spice, I e.mailed and got an answer within an hour. The food was superb and the service was outstanding we had a lovely evening, would highly recommend.

Don’t be put off by the decor, the food here is absolutely amazing! So fresh, so authentic and excellent value too. The girl who serves is delightful, we were that impressed that we visited two days on the trot.

I've eaten a lot of curry in my long life, in many different countries. Sunny Spice is up there with the best of them. The food is freshly cooked, the flavours wonderful and the host(ess) delightfully friendly. To top it all, you can have a pint of Proper Job. We're both vegans and the menu was superb for us, but all tastes are catered for. I thoroughly recommend trying the dosas. Oh, and it's reasonably priced.

Looking for somewhere to eat 5pm - teatime. Luckily for us Sunny Spice was open and welcoming! Had a lovely masala chai and dosas - we couldn’t manage the byriani, so took that home and had it for supper the next day. All delicious!

Delightful meal - south Indian meal. 2 diners, lamb rogan josh, beef aleppey, 1 peshwari nan, 1 bowl mushroom rice, 1 poppadom, tray chutney, tap water £35+ Food was freshly prepared and excellent - the poppadom was poor, but the rest of the food made up for that.

Just happened upon this small restaurant by chance. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was presented beautifully and was full of flavour without being overly spicy hot. One of the best Indian meals I have had. Will definitely go back next time we are in the area. Recommend booking in advance.
