The best restaurants serving Indian food in Southampton South East

Walked in off the street after seeing the street advertising for Peri Peri. This is a lovely little restaurant in downtown Southampton. A good range on the menu and very well priced. NOTE: No licence so cold drinks only - no problem for me. Food was cooked well and came well presented and hot. Very tasty! Staff lovely and toilet extra clean! Would I return? Yes I would.

The Food here is fresh & superb !!! Order in advance or simply go in. It’s delicious always & Staff are very good. Recently been refurbished & Styled. Highly Recommended for best food in area ! - Milton Rodrigues.

Used to be my go to Indian and have ordered multiple times but of the last 3 orders including today there has been issues with either the quality being watery, reheated chips or missing items. It's disappointing but I'll be looking elsewhere going forward. Called the restaurant only to speak to one of the rudest people on earth.

Honestly..I eat Asian food regularly..I thought I'll try this takeaway while I'm staying in Premier Inn Southampton..food didn't come till one and half hour..then everything was pretty cooked..no taste..chicken masala..someone just pure tin of tomato tin in it.no taste..rest of the food I can not describe..thanks

Great food and service with good prices. Decor inside is a bit tired and dated but apart from that would recommend.

went here on a thursday night and it was so lovely! the food was wonderful and very reasonably priced (we got the butter tofu curry, subz meloni, pindi channa and dal makani) and shared it between two. the dal makani i definitely recommend so delicious!! the service was great, very polite and friendly staff and the atmosphere was wonderful. couldn’t recommend more!!!!

Mostly good food but let down by the very small chicken tikka main course, which was much more what you would expect as a modest starter. Bhajis excellent as always but only average value for money.

Ordered chicken tikka madras chicken bhuna and rice The chicken tikka was bland it was not edible totally disgusting The bhuna taste like a can of tomato soup The rice was so sticky I couldn't get it of my fingers as I had to try and pull it appart as was in big lumps None of this food was eaten Wouldn't recommend visiting this restaurant stay clear is absolutely a disgrace and dirty inside should be visited by health inspector and closed down

If you are bored with the usual range of Indian takeaway food for westerner with pink & yellow dyes come here for a fabulous selection of dishes which are much closer to real Indian cooking. I am still exploring and working my way around the menu, and I have never been disappointed

Mi esposa y yo decidimos cenar en este nuevo restaurante de la ciudad. El servicio es excelente y el ambiente es fabuloso, especialmente para parejas. Pedimos gambas al ajillo y pollo frío, pero lo que nos sirvieron no se parecía ni remotamente a lo que pedimos. El plato principal era Lamb Biryani, que estaba seco, incluidos los trozos de carne y nunca sabía realmente a Biryani auténtico. La gracia salvadora de la noche fue el postre: Gulab Jamun sirvió caliente y Ras Malai. El personal era muy guay, atento e hizo todo lo posible para darnos una buena experiencia, pero la comida fue decepcionante.

Never again. The quick delivery is only positive. Lamb shish kebab and chicken wings both looks no fresh at all and with the same very spicey seasonics. The most shocking was a mango milk shake without any package bag or whatsever, given in hand from d.driver with plastic straw already in!! Not even trying as shock of luck of basic higinic!
