The best restaurants in Southampton South East

I popped in here for a quick lunch on the way to the football as I was curious to try Afghan food. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I went with their recommendation which was a meat and rice dish (Quabai Palaw), served with a side salad and mild chilli sauce. The meat was soft and tender, and the rice - containing carrot strips and juicy raisins - was delicious. It was also a generous portion. I will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu!

I stumbled across partners in coffee in there location out the front of the white building and what a good stumble! The best coffee in Southampton. Thanks guys I’ll definitely to be for more amazing coffee.

The owners took such pride in the service, warm welcome and the food was amazing. High quality and very reasonable prices that anyone can afford. Muy contento con mi comida para llevar, llegó más rápido de lo anunciado y aún estaba caliente (a tres millas de distancia). Tuve. . . Kebab mixto (barbacoa): gran comida sustanciosa, tierna carne de cordero y cubos de pollo de un pincho, pierna de pollo y kebab estilo kebab Shornakhoot - no estaba tan interesado en este caldo acuoso con garbanzos y finas rebanadas de papa Mantu: albóndigas al vapor increíbles, un poco picantes, pero tan delicioso! Pudín de arroz afgano - felicidad, arroz espeso y concentrado - pudín con sabor a cardamomo y pistacho Esta debe ser la mejor comida para llevar que haya pedido. Deseando comer desde allí de nuevo.

I absolutely love this little place. I come to Southampton every week (live in Gloucestershire) and always try to get a coffee at The Nest. It is quite simply the best cup of coffee ever! The staff are the loveliest people you can ever imagine too. Nothing is too much trouble, always kind, always smiling, always working too. They do a loyalty card too so every 10th cup is free. Extremely good prices too, for the best service and coffee = Just wonderful. Thank you.

My first time there, foor was brilliant, 2 beef bimbimbap and one tofu were delicious and the chicken was by far the best chicken ever. We don't get take away regularly but this will be our new favourite. Fantastic customer service.
