Siempre ha sido un gran pub, incluso en los años 90, cuando estaba lleno de viejos y perros, y se podía fumar en el bar. Bajo una nueva gestión ahora, aparentemente, después de un período de cerveza artesanal, buen ron y hamburguesas, fue genial la última vez que visité antes de la pandemia. De todas formas, vine esta noche, después de haber visto que están colaborando con el brillante Woosabi proporcionando comida. Y sólo puedo decir que la hamburguesa Wagyu es la mejor que he probado. ¿Las papas saladas tienen un toque de trufa? Grandes pepinillos. Volveré para probar los bollos de bao (ya he probado algunos antes en Woosabi pop - ups) y los tazones de arroz. Pan de maíz y salsa, ¿alguien? ¡Fantástico! Selección justa de cervezas Unity Brewery. No revisé todas las demás, pero parecían unas cervezas acondicionadas y lo que esperabas. Buena selección de espíritus de lo que podía relojear con mi vista enferma. La próxima vez traeré a mis perros.

Excellent independent place. Very quiet when I went in for breakfast, but great quality ingredients and a bargain. Can't go wrong for a Full English served on pancakes with a coffee for under a tenner. Would imagine it's busier at other times of the week with the family crowd on weekends and friends in evenings. Will come again.

Big up Mimi for the fantastic service. Really attentive and friendly right from the off, and so quick with the order and food too. Sidenote, overheard the staff chatting to each other and it's refreshing to hear people actually care about diners, being professional, and still having a laugh. Sign of a really good place and work culture. Sixth time here and have never been disappointed! The burgers are undisputably the best in the South Coast and the variety of sides and starters are great too. Nonna's Hash Browns are a personal favourite, and the Triple B is a great burger. Normally get the dirty fries too, but it's January and I'm meant to be on a diet.

I booked a table with the intention of eating in the restaurant area but, due to a private function, we had to eat in low informal chairs and tables in the lounge area. Also the music was too loud. Not impressed! This layout maybe ok for snacks and sandwiches etc but not for a gourmet 3 course meal! The food was very good but I would think twice before booking again!
