The best authentic Greek food in town. Since this place has opened we been having gyros and souvlaki weekly as it just reminds as the authentic taste from back home. Always fresh and delicious. Thank you for your great service always!!!

We went shortly after Lunch time so was quiet and can't comment on the atmosphere, but staff served us well and food good. Enjoyed by all. Looks like we will be regulars now as our son at uni close by.

Two weeks ago we spent some time in Rhodes, Greece. Almost every day we were going to different restaurants to try their local souvlaki. We concluded that the best souvlaki is in Miss Pita - the best one I have ever eaten. Miss Pita offers great food, pleasant atmosphere and excellent and very friendly customer service. Totally recommend!

My husband and I recently had dinner at Miss Pita’s. We both ordered a pork gyro wrap. They were very good. Our only dislike was that the chips were inside the gyro instead of separate. We would return to Miss Pita’s.

I had heard great things about the place, but unfortunately my gyros plate was really disappointing. There was soooooo much meat, but it was quite try and did not taste that great. A rarely waste food but ate about half. There's better places for gyros in Southampton. My friend had the chicken skewers, which he enjoyed. If I come back, I'll try something else as some of the other dishes coming from the kitchen looked better. My experience was disappointing unfortunately.

This was a good find. Getting proper pork gyros in the UK is very hit and miss and this was excellent, I could have been back in Crete sitting in the sunshine with a pork gyros wrap and a cold Loux orange. In case you don't know pork gyros is a little bit like a lamb donner kebab but 10 times better. Firstly Greek food is better than Turkish anyway but then factor in the crispy bits of pork which is usually proper pork rather than that dodgy lamb donner packed out with soya. I will be returning here soon to try the rest of the menu!

Delicious Greek salad and chicken gyros. Generous portions and the chicken was really moist. Definitely a place to eat on your way to or from a cruise.

After reading reviews about several local Greek cafes / restaurants I decided to stroll and find the nearest to where I was staying as they all had good reviews. Stumbled across Miss Pita almost immediately for lunch. The general feel of the place made me want to visit Greece again immediately. It felt simply authentic and was so reminiscent of great times there. So good was the food and general ambiance, helped by Greek music, that I immediately decided to return for dinner later. I chose Chicken Gyros Pita for lunch. Big, well filled. For dinner I went for Tzatziki starter and Greek Sausage. All really tasty and recreated the flavours of these dishes when I’d had them in Greece. Always good to have a Mythos beer. Sat outside in the evening; great place to watch the world go by amongst other alfresco diners on a vibrant street in the heart of an interesting city. Would definitely return.

Great restaurant, small and friendly. Really good food. We had chicken and pork skewers, plentiful and you don’t need a starter!

I have no words to describe the professionalism of the management of this place. Food is always exceptional and service is impecable! Cleanliness and dedication are needless to say as they are a given with Miss Pita! I have been visiting Miss Pita for two years now and there has always been great consistency with food and service. Fantastic little Greek restaurant. Good honest food in a nice relaxed atmosphere with great staff and service. According to my better half, it has the best tzatziki she's ever tasted!

Best gyros I've had. Price is very good for the amount of food (some would say a steal!) service is incredible. Portions enough for a meal and a half. I was genuinely blown away.

Loved this Thursday night discovery! Restaurant was busy but calm, gave a nice vibe. Food was great and the service was friendly and quick. The pita wraps were a really good size and the chips were perfect. We didn’t have space for dessert so we’ll have to come back for sure!

We happened upon Miss Pita while out wandering around our hotel following a 12 hour plane flight. As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed like family. Staff was attentive and the food was quick to be brought out. AR first I thought it would be "warmed over", but it didn't taste it. Had a dish I can't pronounce and can't spell correctly, along with my wife having another. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe it. The chips weren't greasy, the kabob dish was steaming and had just the right amount of spice. If I had to make any complaint about the place is it is over 5000 miles from my home. Highly recommended.

My most favourite restaurant in Southampton! The food is great, the service is perfect and we always feel welcome there. I have ordered food, I have eaten there, I have also ordered food while at the pub next door and they brought the food to my table. If you are looking for authentic Greek food, this is definitely the place to go!

Miss Pita is a little gem!! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is very Greek and the staff are super friendly. The prices are also very reasonable, we had 2 beers, 2 wines, two starters, two mains and a dessert and it was under £100, which is hard to get these days. I would recommend the Gyros!!

Where do I start, so we came here last year for an pre-anniversary meal and had a great time, food was amazing, I’ve been to Zante before and it was just like the food they have out there. Fast forward to tonight, just over a year later and trust me things aren’t the same.. THEYRE FAR BETTER! We had an amazing dinner this evening, I had the main meal chicken and my wife had the gyros wrap with a side of halloumi. (£6+ for halloumi seemed a little steep at first but after having it, it was like 3 strips of heaven 🤤). I will 10000% be coming back here, the waiters (ermal in particular) are absolutely brilliant, they’re caring and polite and smile! They must like working here which is a rarity these days!! 10/10 Would highly recommend to a friend!!!

We visited Miss Pita after reading some very good reviews and were not disappointed. We were a family group - 4 adults, 2 under 5s and a toddler and did not have a reservation. We were very warmly welcomed by friendly and extremely helpful staff. We ordered a number of different main courses and a couple of side dishes so we could share and experience the various foods, which were excellent. We also ordered soft drinks. The bill was more than acceptable which we considered value for money. The restaurant is relatively small and of simple design but had a warm, welcoming & pleasant atmosphere. We were very pleased, would return if in the area again & recommend a visit.

This is my favourite Greek restaurant of all time! We went in an unusual time, but the chef happily served us on request. The food was too good! We later visited again and ordered again only to find out all the dishes were awesome. Definitely recommended if you like Greek food. It is located in the prime party location of Oxford Street which will only improve the mood.

The pitas taste as good as they look which is incredible. The staff are so lovely and the place has such a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend! I had the chicken gyros pita with tzatziki and they were more than happy to change out the sauce for me (Im sure the homemade sauce tastes amazing but I love tzatziki).

Delicious food and so reasonably priced!

Unfortunately Miss Pitta lost a very good, regular customer after the latest take away order received yesterday night. Very disappointed with the food. That’s the second time this happened. The food was not freshly cooked. Chips were fried from the morning or previous day! Salad was very wet and missing basic ingredients with a trace of hallumi cheese.Pitta souvlaki was very poor and described by our visitors: not good! Very dissatisfied and cross with the quality. Miss Pitta let me down. I will not order or go again!

Great and real Greek restaurant. Very friendly owner and team. Super delicious food with big portions. We've been multiple times with friends or on our own. I can recommend the whole menu, you won't be disappointed whatever you order. It is absolutely worth a visit.

I now know what it feels like to have a Greek aunt and uncle who think you are too skinny, despite needing to roll you out the door after hours of food and drink. If you’re in Southampton you need to visit this place.

This is a fantastic place!! Real authentic greek food and atmosphere. I was astounded at how great each plate was presented and blown away by taste. We had shots with our meal - very traditional. All ingredients are fresh and well put together. I didn't want to leave. Fully recommend. Warm vine leaves - what a treat ! Wish I could of fit in more but we feasted as it is.

this our go to restaurant when in Southampton with our two boys , excellent friendly service , The feta , peppera and gouda is to die for , i have yet to find a dish that i do not like and so does my wife ! Thank you for being awesome Miss Pita !

Mine and my friends favourite food in Southampton. Used to get take out from here on a Saturday and the food is consistently amazing. We moved away but make a point of coming back any time we’re in Southampton. We ate in for the first time recently and as per usual felt very welcomed by friendly staff and once again the food was fantastic. Can’t wait for next time!

Poor experience. 1. Long wait for our food. It seemed like the takeaway orders were being prioritised over the people who were sitting in the restaurant. Not good. 2. The chicken was dry and the chips were cold. 3. The toilet had a horrible smell coming from it. 4. No draft beer 5. The decor is basic and doesn’t have a Greek feel - it needs more on the walls etc. This was my 2nd visit and sadly it will be my last. It was nowhere near as good as the first time. Prioritise your guests eating in the restaurant and ensure food is going out hot!

I saw this place had good reviews but wasn't too sure when I first sat down as it looked to be more of a takeaway. I was very impressed when the food came out though, huge portions and everyone's meal was delicious. Customer service was fantastic too, attentive without being overbearing and didn't feel rushed at all. Would definitely return, lovely to have found an authentic Greek restaurant.

Latest visit… Saturday evening hadn’t booked.. squeezed us in. Most grateful. We’ll be back again soon. Another visit…. 2023…Saturday lunchtime…Again very warm welcome. Worthy to note a favourite with Greek families. Ouzo a very warming end to the meal. Ideal on a miserable ☔️ day. Authentic, friendly, welcoming and delicious what more can you ask. What a fabulous find, nestled in a vibrant part of the city. Great menu, the gyros are to die for. Extremely authentic and the meal I had was huge, i had help to finish the dish. Staff incredibly friendly and it was great to have Greek people eating there.

As a Greek I approve this restaurant and I highly recommend it!!! I went yesterday with friends to dine in, I didn't know the existence of this place before, and the first impression was the warmth and coziness of the restaurant itself. Also the boss his name is Ermal very welcoming, polite and professional lad showing to me what real Greek hospitality should always be and experienced by the customers who want to eat Greek delicacies. I must confess, before visiting Miss Pitta, I wasn't attracted to go to eat in a Greek restaurant in the UK as my standards regarding Greek food are very high and wouldn't like to experience disappointment based on quality, quantity and value for money. But yesterday I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw and I'll put it with this phrase: "A Greek taverna in the standards of the best Greek tavernas in Greece now in Southampton!!!" Where to start and where to finish!!! Quality top, quantity top, value for money top, variety top, they had Greek magirefta fagita we call them like pastitsio, moussaka, I've ordered fasolada which is our national Greek soup and he made it spot on, customer service top, warm environment top, I could go on and on, go and visit yourself to find out 😊. I highly recommend it and I'm gonna visit again, it's my new favorite steki as we say in Greece. Kostas

Amazing restaurant! We arrived half an hour after opening and seemed to be the first customers in. The service was amazing and personal, with recommendations from our server. The food was jaw-droppingly good for the price. Absolutely recommend eating here! We will be coming back! Upon paying the lovely staff gave us a free shot of a traditional Greek drink! 11/10

Recently visited for lunch, had a wonderful experience, the atmosphere was great and the food was exceptional and authentic and the service was fantastic too.

During our pre-cruise stay in Southampton, we had dinner at Miss Pita Restaurant. It is run by a local family and featured great quality Greek food. We really enjoyed our chicken kebabs with Greek salad, pita, and fries. The food was reasonably priced.

When we walked in we were greeted by the owner with w warm smile. I observed the owner interact with several customers and always smiling.The food was excellent.

Amazing!!!! Authentic greek dishes at reasonable prices in a comfortable, casual setting. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing food! We had the Mousaka and Chicken Gyros, we've been to Greece for holidays and this little restaurant took us right back there. Staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend Miss Pita!

What a wonderful place! The staff were very friendly and certainly catering. I would highly recommend the shared platter for 2 and their traditional Greek salad. You can certainly tell that all of the food is very high quality and has been prepared freshly! When serving the food, they forgot the chips with our platter, but after reminding them, they had been freshly cooked. They even gave us two shoots free Ouzo! We will absolutely be returning here for those wonderful Greek flavours

Had a salad 🥗 with feta cheese and it was lovely. My mom had the lamb chops and it was well seasoned and very tasty. My partner had the pork souvakli and thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend

Out of the various Gyros I've tried in Southern England, this one was definitely the best. I recommend the chicken souvlaki. Will be trying the platters next time based on how tasty the gyro was.

My god what a hidden gem!! Stumbled across this place while trying to find somewhere for lunch. Everywhere else’s kitchens were closed so we thought we would try somewhere new and I’m so glad we did!!! My friend and I both had pitta wraps and they did not disappoint! Just the right amount of food to fill you up but not make you feel awful. The staff were lovely and very helpful, especially when I needed some hot water to make a bottle for my baby. Bonus that it was a lovely sunny day, we sat outside and it felt like we were on holiday!

Food is delicious. A bit on the expensive side (but only compared to greek prices ,if that makes any sense ).

Went there for a light family lunch, and we made the right choice. We all had pita wraps, and a couple of sides and they were delicious. The drinks were also very good value and my lemon one was a real thirst quencher. A great discovery for us for a sunny Sunday afternoon lunch, and we will definitely be back. Top work guys...

I don’t get here often enough but this is the place for us to eat in Southampton. The food is fabulous. There is a great menu but the owner will also help you with a green food experience. Besides Feta and Pita, the picture below was our meal, and we are very happy.

Small restaurant on the busiest Southampton street. Very clean tables, chairs and bathroom. Food wise it's quite nice, chicken and pork skewers are nice. Greek salad was small as in size.

We didn't know the area so used TA and were very happy with this authentic greek place to visit before a local gig. Although the place was very busy we were served quickly in a friendly manner with really good freshly cooked food. Very fair prices, recommended.
