This place is mine and my partner's date spot. We used to come in basically weekly while they were first getting known, we come in less now as it's gotten bussier so now we order. Best pizza in Shirley, best garlic sauce in the WORLD.

I only walked in 5 minutes ago to a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful chilled vibe. Families sat happily munching pizza 🍕 ... I waited for 2 minutes for my takeaway order, we'd played it safe. Margherita and Garlic Bread side.... I commented the restaurant smelt amazing and the server at the bar asked if it was my first time. He knew I'd be back. I didn't know at the time I would bring home pizza perfection. Couldn't recommend these guys more and cannot wait to go back and sample the menu. Incredible. What a Pizza!

Great find in Shirley High St. The clue is in the title. Lovely pizzas well priced and in a really good setting. Loved the cocktails, would love to return when we are next in the area.

Really good pizza. Shame that the Americanism of adding a service charge to the bill had to coincide with this fantastic restaurant. Had this charge not been levied, I would have rated 5 stars.

Thanks too Asia’s recommendation I visited what a pizza and I am very pleased with my experience. The customer service was very good who helped me pick out the best options for me. The food was very good quality and I will definitely be returning.

However, I'm sorry about a vegetarian pizza with raw onions and raw courgettes, it wasn't what I was hoping for, I hope the next one is tastier... but good attention from the owner...

Amazing pizzas for reasonable prices and I had the best homemade pink lemonade there. They also have homemade garlic mayo, chili sauce and oils. I highly recommend their chili sauce. The owners are lovely and always made sure we were happy and had full glasses. The place itself us very clean and well looked after. It is definitely worth a visit especially because it's not just another highstreet chain pizza place

We are big fans of What a Pizza! The pizzas are a big hit with the whole family as are the sharing boards and fabulous cocktails. Hot honey pizza with a margharita is actual heaven. The staff are always super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend for a midweek tea or a weekend celebration. Thanks very much 😊

I've lost count of how many times I've ordered from here. Loved it the first time, and still love it today. I'm not usually a fan of garlic dip, but I can't get enough of the one from here! The garlic sauce with their BBQ base is just *chefs kiss*. Also, any place that has Goats Cheese as a topping is an immediate win in my books.

Excellent little gem hidden away in Shirley. The service, atmosphere and drinks menu was brilliant. Had some lovely cocktails on the menu. The bruschetta starter was very tasty. The Bianca pizza was the best pizza u have had in a long long time. Dessert we had a apple and cinnamon Calzone and it did not disappoint. I'd highly reccomemd a visit and we will be returning soon!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the dine-in pizza restaurant! The kids were delighted to be able to order their own sub pizzas. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating, with a great selection of toppings to choose from and friendly staff. The pizza was delicious, with the perfect balance of crunchy crust and gooey cheese. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for an evening out as a family. All in all, it was a perfect evening at the pizza restaurant – we’d definitely recommend it to other families!

We visited What a Pizza! On valentines day after hearing good things about it and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great, the decorations were suitable, the staff were friendly and it was busy! The food was excellent and I'm glad I hadn't eaten much all day beforehand as I was hungry by the time my starter was served. We then each had a main pizza followed by a chocolate calzone to share and it was just delicious. The cocktails were good too. The only thing I could mark down on a little was slightly slow service but tbh unless you're in a rush that doesn't really matter so much. Would definitely visit again. Thank you for a lovely meal/experience.

Listen up vegans and non-vegans: This is the best pizza restaurant in Southampton. The food and customer service is fantastic and I am always so happy when eating in or ordering a takeaway!

Over all the pizza is very good, mostly because the atmosphere down there. Not to crowded, and not to loud, The staff is very courteous, and helpful.

There is a clear reason why this lovely little venue has received more than 100 5 star reviews already. I am happy to add to this catalogue. Great quality takes time and yes there was a little wait for the freshly made pizza, but we did come at a busy period and the time to wait was we'll within a comfortable limit. 2 of us ordered vegetarian pizzas and I ordered an abomination of BBQ, Pepperoni with Pineapple. All 3 were hot and beautifully garnished as you can see. To compliment these great pizzas we're house made garlic sauce and a chilli sauce. Both were perfectly balanced although the bottles were not suitable for the chilli sauce and needed a bigger hole to dispense. Parking is not easy but a short walk around the block was possible. The venue was clean, well kept and looked after. Will be happy to return again soon.

Such a cute little place…I’m not patronising, it is cute and it is little. The anti pasti platter is really good and the pizzas are spot on. The goats cheese salad is my favourite thing on the menu. Cocktails are great, best margarita I’ve had anywhere. The people who work there are so friendly and create such a fun, chilled atmosphere. Can’t recommend this place enough x

Actually one of the best pizza in town, the dough is lovely and also the crust is nearly as good as neapolitan pizza. Topping bresaola&rocket is a must in Italy and they recreate it perfectly.

What a pizza indeed. The taste is absolutely incredible. Eat in or take out, staff is amazing and you will feel well welcomed. A pleasant atmosphere inside with candles at the tables and pints of beer available. In my opinion this is one of the best places in Southampton to have a proper pizza. Well done guys 👍
