Too many take aways to say it has a great atmosphere but this is understandable as the food is amazing. Cheesy garlic bread was the best I have ever tasted. And the pizza was perfect.

Great menu, lovely decor. It was just after the lunch rush on a Saturday so nice and chilled. Service was quick and friendly. Reasonably priced tlforvsuoer fresh ingredients. I had the spicy hawaiian pizza. Would highly recommend and will be back.

One of the best pizzas I've had so far. The place is a bit small, I think they do mostly take away, but the pizza is delicious and the staff are very nice and friendly. I'll definitely return there again.

I’m sure the food is probably great, but I ordered a takeaway directly through their website. An hour and 10 minutes passed and still no sign of it despite getting a notification that it was ready. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to wait around (for the 2nd time, I’d already had a 20 minute wait before even getting to speak to anybody at the restaurant after popping by on the off chance that my order might be ready) as I had to return to work. Popped in as I was walking past on my way back to work and still no sign of my pizza. Result: paid £12 got nothing. Refund still not received. The pizzas that the diners were getting did look great, though! The queue of annoyed delivery drivers outside didn’t look so great… Edit: refund received!

Pizza was allright although too much cheese what caused it to be realy heavy and ingredients were not cooked nicely. Also not accepting cash payments. This place used to be better few years ago .

seeing the reviews first i was expecting a good pizza but i wasn’t expecting this. i got a funghi with extra ham and my god was it good. the dough was fluffy on the sides but thin in the middle, not chewy in any way shape or form just perfect. very clearly cooked in a stone fried oven. the ingredients are so fresh and the flavour is simple yet beautiful. will 100% be going again.

Usually excellent. Tonight, not up to usual standard. Garlic cheese bread had large unflavoured ends pizza very mean on chorizo.

They have good dough, and the oven is good. The ingredients are of good quality, and you can tell in the final result. It’s one of the best pizzas you can try in Southampton, considering that the English don’t know how to cook and their cuisine is awful. Therefore, this place offers food that is above the usual standard. Bravo!

Me and my girlfriend order from here probably about once every two weeks and have done so for years now. Never disappoints and the deals and food are the best in the city by far. No need to order pizza from anywhere else, this is THE one

I can't believe anyone would have a bad word to say about this place. I have been getting their pizza's for some years now. I've probably eaten about 30 of them and never had an issue. Their dough and tomato sauce are the best I have tasted in the UK. They do good sauces, too, for dipping the crusts. The great goatsby is my favourite, but I also love a margio alio and margarita.

Ordered on line today daughter’s birthday they cancelled our order after we waited an hour for delivery. Don’t order on line from them unreliable and they don’t care no answer when I tried to call multiple times.

Popsi's pizza is one of my favourites, really delicious freshly cooked dough and pizza. The pesto bites are incredible. They have a lot of really delicious vegan options too, my husband is vegan and it's hands down his favourite pizza place. Keep up the good work guys!

Vegan and non-vegan options both delicious! We were on holiday and looking for some proper authentic pizza with dairy free options. Really impressed. Only wish they were based in our home town so we could order again!

Very simple place, nothing too fussy but pizza was very good and price extremely reasonable - we had 2 Margherita and a bottle of tap water and we only paid £20. Nothing more than the cost of the pizzas: no service charge or anything similar. Would definitely recommend for a quick meal. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

My order was never delivered. I received a message from an unknown party saying they were waiting for me, but no one came to deliver. When I tried to call this number, it disconnected. When I called Just Eat, there was no option to connect the restaurant. When I called the restaurant, they said they could not do anything about it. So, as I have lost time, money and have no food - in addition to not being given any help - I have to leave a 1 star review and cannot recommend Popsi’s. I hope that they will be able to sort this out for future customers.

Very little space, but the pizza was backed in an oven with fire (not electric), and was very tasty.

Pizza turns up on a damaged and dented box and the pizza was a mess with all the toppings chucked around the box and stuck to the roof of it.

Fabulous pizza , definitely up there with the best! Lots of veggie and vegan options. Lovely staff. Only downside was we waited ages for food to arrive as they seem to prioritise take away orders . would have been good to be warned about the long wait !

This place does the best pizzas in Southampton! The base is filling and substantial, and the toppings are creative, use fresh ingredients and are absolutely delicious. Me and my partner order there fairly regularly as they have good vegan options. Last time, I accidentally ordered regular pepperoni instead of vegan on a vegan pizza, and they called to confirm my order which saved the meal!

We are regular customers and we love the pizza’s here. We’d be the only customers at the restaurants with the service being extremely slow probably due to the volume of takeaway orders. With just 2 staff working at the restaurant it can be a bit overwhelming for the staff. It would be a bit better if they had 3 people working instead of 2 to improve the service. Pizzas are great and i love the pesto bites! Loving that they are reasonably priced and that they have offers on weekdays UPDATE: loved the service last time we went ! All the dishes came so fast!

This is the best pizza place in Southampton, I really appreciate them having amazing vegetarian and vegan options which have fresh ingredients, interesting choices, and don’t feel like just an afterthought. Plus their sauce is delicious and I can’t resist getting the churro nuggets!

Delicious take away as always, don't think we've ever had a bad meal from Popsi's. They're great at following dietary requests. Best pizza base in Southampton and the garlic dip is a must try (but make sure anyone you might be kissing later also likes garlic, it is wonderfully strong!). Always very generous with pizza toppings and the garlic doughballs are delicious. Can't recommend enough!

Really good authentic pizzas made in a nice oven. The waitress was so kind to us, I really appreciate it. Our table was a bit small but it was ok. I missed some more good beers in the menu.

Booked a table when spending a weekend in the area on a family trip. As we had our two dogs with us I was pleased to find a restaurant that is dog-friendly. We were warmly welcomed and found the service to be friendly and fast. The food was exceptionally good, my husband even went far as to say it was one of the best pizzas he’d ever had. Highly recommend.

HOT DIGGITY! I am WOWED! My husband and I really fancied a nice, big pizza (each) but all of the local well known pizza places are a bit lack lustre, especially since we’re pesky vegans. I just did a search on Google for vegan pizza in Southampton and found good reviews for this place and boy am I glad we ordered!! I am a garlic lover and this place delivered.(They didn’t literally deliver because we live in Romsey but it was worth the drive!!) The pizzas are such a good size! We ordered at about 4pm knowing they opened at 5 so booked collection at 5:30 and it was ready on the dot. This place blows all the pizza chains out of the water. The vegan menu is so good!! And it’s so easy to order online, everything is clear, you have no worries about being awkward. I got the vegan funghi with extra garlic (thrilled this was an option!), the garlic bread and 2 garlic and herb dips (I’ll say now they’re better dips than dominoes by 20 miles!!) and my husband got the vegan sweet spot. This food obsessed, garlic loving vegan is so happy right now. I can’t believe I’ve only just found POPSI’S! Here’s to a great new relationship 💚💚 Update 6/2/24 - indulged in the 2 for £20 Tuesdays! Tried the Margo Aglio which was BANGIN! But I am updating this review purely because we ordered the vegan garlic butter bites and I just had to rave about them! I think I saw heaven!!!! Absolute horrendous order. The takeaway supposedly takes 20-35 minutes, at the end it took an hour without any notice from the restaurant. The pizza was stone cold when arrived and portion very small for a £18 pizza Told the restaurant to not cut the pizza, turned out it was cut when arrived. The eat in experience might be decent, but never order the takeaway if I am being totally honest.

The pizzas are to die for BUT.....The door is constantly blocked with delivery drivers, making it awkward to get in and out. It's a tiny place with just a few tables but the service is shockingly slow - 45 minutes for any drinks to arrive and over an hour for the pizza. I wonder whether Popsi's needs to make a decision on whether it's a takeaway or a restaurant because I'm not sure the hybrid is working at the moment. A real shame.

Awful. 2 hours late. Cold. Restaurant said it was ready for ages and driver hadn’t arrived. Driver said (on camera, ring door bell) he was only there 10 minutes. Freezing dinner at 10.30pm - not okay.

Delivery time kept being pushed back, and I ended up waiting a whole hour later than expected. When it arrived it was sloppy and the pizza was already getting cold.

2 hrs from ordering to delivery. Rang restaurant who said order had been collected by driver 45 mins earlier. 5 mins later delivery driver arrived and said he'd had a flat tyre. Food was cold, conjealed and rubbery. Was for a special occasion, no-one enjoyed it, very disappointing 😞

Great pizza and great service. After ordering pizza from POPSI'S it was hard to eat pizza from other places :) Just hard to match how good it is.

Nice little place. The pizza was lush, soft and doughy. Also enjoyed the pesto mozzarella dough bites to start Great service. The only thing I was looking forward too was the slushies but sadly there weren’t ready, we did dine early. Also, dog friendly so very happy all round.

Amazing pizza in a wonderful atmosphere with a lovely staff! If you're looking for a place with great neapolitan pizza, POPSI'S is the way. The place is rather small but fortunately was not too crowded on Thursday evening. Bonus points for the option to make any pizza vegan.

We were passing by and hungry, decided to try and no regrets. A small cozy place, with a few tables, great vegan pizzas and friendly staff. Each of us tried a different pizza, they were all good.

One of the more popular places for pizza in Southampton - definitely the most popular in Bedford place! The place is tiny but the pizzas are big..on taste and crust and sauce. The tomato sauce is tangy and savoury and full of flavour. The crust is perfect on the outside but just a little soggy for my liking. It's thin crust pizza after-all - all the rage is the crispy crust. They could make their already great pizzas perfect by adding a bit of crunch. The toppings are plentiful and unless you really crave a WHOLE LOT MORE, you're ok with what's on the base. We got the Truffle Shuffle (🍄🍄🍄) and the Sweet Pot (with nduja for the spice and honey for the sweet). I was skeptical about the honey but it worked really well. Overall 4/5 . Great pizza.

Absolutely fantastic pizza. Great service including texts and emails (if you request them) confirming your order and letting you know when your pizza is ready for collection. Make it the perfect experience by enjoying some amazing craft beers across the road in beards and boards and ordering from there over a craft beer, or three.

Really good pizza, with excellent service. The place is very small, but everything has been taken care of. We had 3 pizze, and we were really happy with the texture, flavour and appearance. The only note is that there was a very limited choice of ingredients on the menu.

My all time favourite pizza place. We moved away from Southampton and were truly gutted to leave this place behind. Best pizza, sides and desserts and so many options for veggies/vegans. The Great Goatsby is my go-to choice and the pesto bites are amazing.

Very mediocre, I thought it was a bit pricey for what i got. It was dollops of things which felt rushed and wasn't spread nicely. I thought the crust was nice but again too much crust.

Popsi's are my favourite pizza spot to order from - the pizza is always absolutely delicious, with a great base and delicious toppings and desserts. We had some trouble with getting the order delivered last time and they couldn't have been more helpful, and they left the sweetest note on the pizza box! I can't see myself ordering pizza from anywhere else.

I absolutely love this place! Definitely the best pizza in Southampton and the quality has been consistently excellent since I first came here 4 years ago. The flavours are incredible, the vegan 'meats' are absolutely amazing and the service is phenomenal. The restaurant itself is very cosy and they're dog friendly too!

Absolutely divine pizza I would recommend the diavola! Fresh ingredients, generous size and lots of toppings included. Perfectly cooked and so flavoursome. Easily the best pizza I've had in Southampton. I couldn't recommend Popsi's any higher!

The pizza was great, maybe a bit heavy on the ricotta for my tastes, and definitely feel it loses a bit in transit, but that's not the restaurant's fault, so next time want to try one fresh in store. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and homemade. The only reason I gave the food a 4/6, was because I didn't rate the pesto bites. Some of the cheese had come out and was burnt, which along with the pesto was way too strong a flavour in my opinion.

The food was incredible, best pizza we’ve had in a long time and definitely the best in Southampton. We had bites to start and the biscoff nuggets for dessert, way more than we needed but we couldn’t resist so took the rest to go! The staff were all really friendly, great service and a really laid back atmosphere. Overall just a fantastic independent place, look forward to going back

Probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Watery mushrooms, uncooked garlic and uncooked tomatoes. First time I’ve ever not finished a pizza. I don’t really suffer from indigestion, but I think I’ll be suffering tonight. Ever dominos is better.

Driver not assigned for over an hour

I’ve been few times. They have decent pizza there and the atmosphere is very good. I appreciate these small restaurants as I don’t like branches. They have meany pizza options.

I ordered a pizza from Popsi’s and I couldn’t be more impressed. It was absolutely delicious and they were not shy with the toppings! I will definitely be ordering again. The delivery driver was early however this didn’t bother me as I was home anyways. Fantastic service.

The food was excellent. Popsi’s were excellent. The delivery by JustEat was awful. Ordered 2.5hrs in advance, for delivery at 7pm. The food arrived at almost 8pm thanks to poor service from JustEat. It’s a credit to Popsi’s that the food was still good even after JustEat had carried our food around for an hour letting it go cold.

Lovely little pizza joint! The pizza was absolutely fabulous and the biscoff nuggets were very tasty indeed! Super friendly and helpful staff - will definitely be back!

There's no denying the pizza is delicious. It really is. But I've ordered from them twice now and both times I've had issues. The first time the delivery time was delayed by more than an hour. The estimated time just kept getting pushed back and back. This time the delivery was bang on time and the pizzas were hot but mine didn't include the two extra toppings I paid for (which actually aren't cheap) and the drink we ordered wasn't right either. It's such a shame because they're a good independent but it's difficult to order from regularly when you can't trust what will turn up. But.... the pizza (when hot, delivered in reasonable time and correctly made up) is excellent.

Det var 4 personer i restaurangen. Man tilldelades en pall att sitta på och fick ha kläderna i famnen eller på golvet. Tog 45 minuter till Pizzan kom. De kom inte samtidigt till oss som var två, utan en av oss fick en halvljummen pizza som stått klar, medan servitris vek servetter. När nästa pizza kom så höll servitören på att tappa den på golvet. Ingen frågade om vi ville ha något till, frågade om det samtalade bra heller. Det var vitlök i Popeye trots inte det stod i menyn, vilket en av oss inte tål. Nästa dag hade båda ont i magen. Tack o hej ! Finns massa trevliga ställen med personal som är mer engagerade i sina kunder.

Ordered delivery....looked great, smelt great, tasted great BUT both pizzas were stone cold by the time I got them! I expected them to not be out of the oven hot but I am only in portswood so didn't expect to have to reheat in the oven! Will order again but hopefully be warmer next time!

I visited Popsi's today, the pizza's dough is good and tastes good, but unfortunately they do not have options for those who do not want to eat pork (due to health or religious result such as Jewish or Muslim). If you don’t eat pork you only have to consider Vegan & Vegetarian options. You cannot add beef, lamb, chicken or fish to any Pizza. While all the restaurants in the city have overcome this problem, I still cannot understand this restaurant's obsession. People don't have to eat pork, why you don’t have flexibility for this customers?

It’s so good. Flat and thin, oily and tasty, crispy. I want another one right now. The pork sausage is so good. Also the desserts.

Small but good selection of pizzas, freshly made and with a selection of dips and toppings. Friendly service and laidback ambience. Definitely recommend and will return. Do not miss the desserts. Traditional churros or similar donuts with Biscoff or Kitkat toppings. We shared the Biscoff and virtually fought over every last morsel!

I rarely give bad reviews. The pizzas are quite tasty but the service was terrible. I'd avoid in future. This would be a 1 star review if based solely on customer service and a 3 or 4 star review if based on pizza quality/cost alone. I ordered 4 pizzas for take out collection on Friday 26th via a QR code from a local bar. Order was placed at 850pm with a collection time allocated for 920pm. On arrival, at 920, I was told "it's not ready, it'll be 15mins" and given no apology or offer of any compensation (despite asking). I was sent away and told I'd get a text or email when it's ready to collect. I protested that this was poor service and left not very happy. I returned at 935pm when I was emailed to say the pizzas were finally ready to collect. On arrival I asked again what could be offered for a 50% extension on the scheduled collection time. The result was nothing, so I asked to speak to the manager. She offered little help aside to say "it is Friday and we're busy". She continued to say "you were emailed about the delay" (I was not and showed her my email trail) and I was told that "you got 10% off from using the QR code form the bar anyway" (I did not and I showed her the bill which confirmed this, to which she had no response). £55.47 for 4 take out pizzas with sub standard delayed service and no apology is unacceptable. When you offer a collection time you should honour it, and if you know you cannot, you should update your service agreement and communications to manage customer expectation. When you fail to honour your agreement you should offer something to maintain customer experience; a simple gesture like a free dip or % discount is not beyond comprehension. Poor customer service is so unnecessary and can easily be avoided. "It's Friday" is not an acceptable excuse. Anyway, as the bar we were at was calling last orders for a 10pm close I left to return to my friends who had been waiting 45 mins for food. Needless to say we were all in agreement none of us will be using this establishment again any time soon.

Fabulous meal at Popsi’s tonight. Surprised by the taste explosion of cheesy garlic pizza bread drizzled with marmite. We loved it! Wide range of tastes including vegetarian and vegan, fully licensed too. Had a laugh with the friendly and helpful team there too.

Very nice pizza. I liked it. However, I have two suggestions: 1- Pizza should not be sliced immediately after baked since this makes pizza base wet. It should be sliced by customer while eating to remain its crispy base. 2- Flour pieces below pizza base should be removed before baking. Otherwise this results with burnt flour spots underside of pizza base.

Went there and got genuinely the nicest vegan pizza I have had ever. Perfect size, consistency and taste. Amazing.
