Best pizza in Southampton. Great value especially in collection

Not great for a casual night out because it's a take away trip advisor! I wished to review the online ordering web site. Firstly you can select a Kentucky BBQ pizza, but it doesn't tell you anywhere what it is. Chicken one assumes. Then you order your items, 12" Pizza, select another free Pizza, some potato skins etc. Go to your order and the freezer pizza doesn't show up? So didn't order as I didn't have confidence that I would get what I was after 😠🙄

Every time I know I'm in Southampton at a good time I plan to get pizza from Roma. Have been visiting on and off since they first opened. The menu has changed but the quality and service is as good as ever. There is a wide choice of other items if you don't like pizza, but with the buy one get one free offer, why wouldn't you choose their speciality. Lots of different topping combinations, wanted to try the new Munch but unfortunately they had fun out of the necessary toppings. The prices are reasonable too. Give them a go and try something different on your pizza. I recommend the BBQ chicken and the Hot & Sweet... Delicious...

Very disappointed with our takeaway pizza this evening. I had a thin crust but it was only half cooked - the top half of the base was practically raw dough. It needs cooking for a lot longer or the base needs to be thinner. Trying to rescue it in the oven but will not be returning to Pizza Roma despite living locally.

Genuinely my favourite pizza place in Southampton. Rivals with the big chain pizza places for taste, bests them in price. Wouldn’t get a pizza from anywhere else anymore!

Honestly so disappointed! I wish I could sue them for selling pork saying it's halal. I called them and asked them to give me halal pizza. Ordered which included pepperoni. The taste was very weird and later I realised its probably not halal bacon. Called them again they said, " you can't get any halal bacon or pepperoni in England." If you know that's not halal why did you send me ? You could say sorry we don't have halal pizza. I regularly order food from different places and usually those are turkey bacon/pepperoni. PLEASE DO NOT LIE TO CUSTOMERS TO SELL YOUR FOOD!

Extremely greasy!! Ive ordered a few times from them in the past and was impressed but this recent order was extremely greasy, both the pizza & garlic bread were dripping in grease! Probably wont order again

Pizza amazing, just a shame the website quotes FREE GARLIC BREAD when you spend £30. Shame didn’t get the free garlic bread.

Amazing pizza 🍕 the man who delivers it is so friendly with a warm smile bigger pizza then what I ordered plus a homemade garlic sauce best pizza place for me

Everything was great, however the restaurant states that any order above 30£ receives a free small garlic bread and we didn’t receive it. This also happened the last time I ordered from them. I did not order the garlic bread as was expecting to receive the free one and it was upsetting not getting it.

Food quality was good and onetime but ordering and paying for two pizzas of different sizes, an 8' and a 10' we received 2 8' pizzas, not too much of an issue as can see thsi being an honest mistake and a complimentary garlic pizza bread was already thrown in.

We love Pizza Roma pizzas and they are always really good quality. Our only issue is they never remember the dips that we’ve ordered when they deliver! Happens every time. Really frustrating.

I pre-ordered for a later delivery - pizza, chicken strips, drink & cheesy garlic bread. Once again, food was absolutely on point - pizza hot, tasty, plenty of toppings, chicken was hot and tender, cheesy garlic bread was lovely and can of drink very cold. Delivered at the time I requested - cannot ask for more.

First time customers and will certainly be back. 2 pizzas, garlic cheesy bread & mozzarella sticks were all very tasty and so fresh. Perfect amount of cheese and toppings. Great value on a Tuesday too with the offer. Will order again.

Very good food as usual, unfortunately one of the pizzas was a bit dry and they didn't give us the dip we paid for.

Great food as usual, pizzas were lovely. Unfortunately delivery time was an hour and 25 minutes, on a Tuesday. The tracker changed to 'out for delivery' 40 mins before it was delivered, pizzas were fresh and hot so worth being aware the tracker is very inaccurate for this restaurant!

The food was absolutely disgusting. Half the items were missing. Meat lasagne was so small and had a horrid texture to the taste of it. And the meat content was so minimal. Potato skins cold no donner meat or cheese on it. Onion rings soggy and undercooked. The garlic bread was like rubber no cheese and barely any garlic. Still waiting on the wedges that went with lasagne ice cream & bonoffie pie to be Redilivered. Order again no chance

Good quality food which tasted amazing, £18 for 4 slices of pizza and some icecream was very expensive

Pizza and garlic bread were good. Onion rings were a little bit undercooked. Milkshake was a Yazoo milk drink, so not quite what I expected. Overall the food was decent though, and unlike many of the restaurants on Just Eat, they actually included everything I ordered so that was a nice change! 😅

Everytime we have ordered the food has met and exceeded expectations. The calzone with curly fries and garlic pizza bread have been my favourite items. Portion size is excellent - I end up sharing some with the other half!

Have eaten here many times this is now mine and my partners regular well worth every penny calzone is one of my favourites i cannot fault anything i have tried. 👍

This has now become a regular of ours friendly staff and drivers and excellent qaulity of food have not been dissapointed with anything i have ordered from there menu and portion sizes are fantastic well worth every penny

I mean the food was okay, nothing bad to say about it. But travelled half hour based on reviews to collect; and just don’t get the outstanding reviews… it’s just average in my opinion

The food was absolutely amazing. Very hot still on delivery, everything was extremely tasty. I would highly recommend trying if you're unsure. You won't regret it at all. I went for a calzone and it was perfect. I will 100% be ordering from here again.

The pizza was great. The mozzarella dippers needed a bit longer in the fryer. The cheesey garlic bread was bad, the dough was under cooked (yetnthe pizza dough was perfect) abd they use vegetable oil with a tiny bit of garlic to make the flavour. To the owners: You should use butter, real butter, not butter mixed with vegatable oil or just vegetable oil, even garlic olive oil would be better, and don't be tight with the garlic, if you have to charge more it's worth it.

The calzone are great but in future please cook your curley fries for an extra 3-4 minutes as the last 3 times I've ordered a calzone with curley fries I had to cook them myself as they were undercooked.

Over an hour of waiting for a pizza. Ordered Doner Kebab Pizza 12 "plus extras, I paid 17 pounds .. Pizza tasteless, not cooked, very few toppings, almost no meat.I am very disappointed and personally do not recommend it, for the price you can eat a really good meal, elsewhere of course.

Only in Southampton for a night but would travel back to have more of these pizzas!

Clean and tidy little pizza shop due to Covid it's one person at any time entry with mask. Ordered a Roma Special was absolutely delicious. Great quality pizzas been coming here for 15 years and yes they deliver.

I think it's the best pizza place in Southampton & I've tried a few.

The best homemade garlic dip, perfect thin crust (not too thin, just right). Wish I still lived close enough for delivery!

Told me on arrival that I lived too far away and would need to be charged for delivery next time as if it were my fault that they show up on Just Eat as delivering to my postcode. If you don’t want to deliver to a postcode, don’t include it in your delivery area - I’ll happily pay order from elsewhere instead.

Having been to Italy numerous times, this is the closest thing to genuine Italian pizza I've tasted outside of Italy. Also very quick service. I live about 1.5 miles away and arrived 20 mins after ordering. Highly recommended!

Food delicious as always, delivered early and hot. The homemade garlic and herb dip is incredible!
