The food is absolutely splendid. The chef customises it as requested. It has become more of a Saturday morning routine to order and have food here. It’s served with a smile and warmth as if it’s all just one family. There are always new people and new faces of different languages and cultures at the joint, to talk to about random things. The little birds keep chirping and playing around whilst one eats there. It’s more than just a food joint, it’s more an enriching experience to just be there early and find happiness.

I ate alone as had just finished work on a Saturday. Firstly the positives: I had a tasty Lamb Rogan Josh, with freshly prepared rice & a light Nan bread. The pops & dips we’re good although I would have liked some chopped onions. The draught kingfisher was also v good. The only negative is they do not offer a discount off the menu prices for collecting a take away. Their competitors do offer min 10% off if you collect. I found the staff friendly and attentive.

Had a lovely home made curry. The staff we’re extremely friendly. Also couldn’t get over how spotlessly clean the toilets were. Very enjoyable and reassuring.

Used to come here a lot, but following a refurbishment and then a pandemic, it's been a long time. I used to love being able to "design" my burrito by following along as they created it (no slaw for me please, although extra cheese, mango chutney, oh and black beans) but that's all gone. Now, a chicken mughlai burrito was exactly that, as is, and even the idea that I didn't want slaw was enough to raise eyebrows amongst the staff (who might I add were really not at all friendly, in contrast to staff from years gone by who were always really friendly and had a great approach to customer service). In addition to our very "as-is" burritos, we also got wrapchos. There used to be such a delicious side. Nachos with generous lashings of cheese sauce, optional salsa and jalapenos. I used to opt out of salsa and jalapenos as a matter of preference, but I didn't get that option, and beyond this whole "no customisation" thing they've got going on, the "generous" amount of cheese seems to be a thing of the past. The cheese was incredibly sparse - I've never known anything like it. Things were already going pretty bad, but that hadn't prepared me for what was to come. The burrito was ok. No where near as good as what we used to have, but it was fine. That is, at least, until in the second half, I've bitten down into ligament. This had me heaving, but forgivingly, I just spat it out discreetly and put it to a side, then moved on, putting it down to a one off error. I carried on eating until suddenly I'd bitten down on bone. Two different instances in different parts of the burrito - the quality of the meat preparation by this point is clearly questionable. To be clear, wrap chic was once one of mine and husband's favourite places to go for a quick bite. We would always rave to the people around us about how good it was. Today's visit? This wasn't wrapchic. I don't know what's happened, but this is not that same place we loved for so long, what feels like so long ago now.

The restaurant interior itself is beautiful with a welcoming cocktail bar as you walk in. The tables and chairs are spacious and comfortable. The staff were warm, welcoming and fast in their response. All were attentive. The food is the big letdown. There were about 15 of us so we ordered lots of different dishes and sides. My own duck jalfrezi lacked all aromatics and was simply fried meat and veg in a thin sauce occasionally accentuated with extremely hot chilis. The sides looked nice but were bland. It was surprising that even the dahl dishes which should have been buttery and creamy lacked any real flavour. I don't know if the food was ordered in in bulk and just reheated or if the chefs just don't bother trying to create depth of flavour. The next day, four out of our group who were all sitting at the same end of the table had upset tummies. This was quite disappointing and the food was not cheap at £51 each including approximately 3 drinks each.

Fantastic Thali - one of the best we've had. Popeye palak dosa was unusual but a must try. Super friendly yet professional staff. Beautiful! We will be back!
