Namji’s Desi Cafe in Milton Keynes

Had a lovely home made curry. The staff we’re extremely friendly. Also couldn’t get over how spotlessly clean the toilets were. Very enjoyable and reassuring.

I had breakfast with family in namji cafe it was a great pleasure all food was fresh especially the prathas and smosas it was delicious coming again definitely 😋

Stumbled across this gem of a place whilst visiting Milton Keynes, located opposite the MK hub across the road next to the citizen advice, lovely decor, great ambience, greeted by the lovely Misbah, we had the punjab paratha, cauliflower option, I was impressed as the parathas were freshly made, not those prepacked shana parathas which I have had at other places. These ones reminded me of fresh homemade ones. I also ordered Masala chai, both the food ad service were excellent. Will definitely come back. A special thanks to the chef Nigar. Please pass our compliments on to the chef.

I visited Namji desi cafe for a meeting today and was pleasantly surprised at the customer service..I had fish and chips with fresh mango juice..the food was so delicious..highly recommended and love the fact that the money goes to charity

Another delightful afternoon at Namji's Desi Café. The food was delicious. I had a paneer sandwich with chunky chips. Together with masala chai. And a tasty chocolate muffin. I also purchased my usual tandoori chicken salad (ever so tasty) for dinner. Not forgetting to pay for a suspended meal for the homeless or the less fortunate. I recommend this café. Will visit again.

I was provided with both amazing food and service, and will definitely be coming back soon. The staff were all lovely and helped me with any questions I had. I highly recommend, and will be returning as soon as I can!

I’ve been here a few times now - great for lunch when I have been working at nearby MKU, a light early evening meal, or just for coffee for an informal meeting. The food is lovely with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere and it’s fabulous that proceeds are also helping others enjoy delicious and nutrient food!

Glad it’s a not for profit and proceeds go to good causes. The Namji brand in MK is good but sadly this place is not great and that’s being super polite. The food was well below average and over priced for what it was. Awful taste / awful presentation and well below the Namji food standard set at their original place in Wolverton. The salad on the side of most dishes looked so old and tired. I think it might be all the left overs from their other places (joke). The hot drinks were awful. Also the place was empty and it closed earlier than advertised turning customers away. A real shame.

Would be interesting to see this places hygiene rating, as within hours of eating here, both me and my family had upset stomachs. Coffee came out cold, cutlery looked unclean. Great concept, however poor execution. Nothing like the Wolverton branch.
