Bollywood Junction in Milton Keynes

Nice venue but disappointing and underwhelming. I was sat near the door as I was alone, great, subject to all the delivery drivers who walked in and out. I ordered a Nimbu Pani at £3.45 but got back a warm glass of lime cordial, sugar syrup and 2 scraps of ice. I asked them for a fresh nimbu pani but I got the same type of drink back with lemon juice squeezed in. I ordered Pani puri to start, but I got dahi puri back. When I asked about it I was told I had ordered the wrong dish rather than creating a solution. Chicken biryani was ordered for the main meal, truly tasted like fried pilau rice with peppercorns, cloves and cardomom thrown in layerd with chicken legs with blobs of onion chutney. Sad really, a huge miss on a potentially delicious dish. I felt under appreciated as a solo guest and really let down with the food. I won’t be returning nor recommending.

A regular customer. Ordered on 19/10 at 5.03. Called them at 6.10 - on its way. Called them at 6.20 -on its way. Called them at 6.30 - on its way. No apology. Delivered at 6.40. Awful service. Food is good but customer service is lacking.

Good Indian restaurant with a nice ambience!! Serving both veg and non- veg with medium spice, you can cover complete north Indian dishes. Good place for gathering / party meetings..

Found this place for proper Indian food. I must say it was as close as the food you get in Delhi. The taste and everything was pretty close. We had ordered Butter Chicken, Biryani, drinks, and some starters and I was really satisfied with the taste. The prices are decent here and there is plenty of variety as well. The staff is courteous and the service is quite quick as well. The atmosphere is quite lively here with mostly Bollywood songs playing in the background.

Great place! Very accommodating as we were a walk in customer on a very busy and packed Saturday. The food was top notch, great variety. Definitely recommend the chilli chicken, bollywood mix grill, tadkaa daal (food for different table, but we were glad it came to our table because it was yummy) and the mango lassi. There was a hiccup with the food order but they were excellent in fixing the mistake. Overall, lovely staff and great place to fill your belly! Definitely coming here again.

My partner & I visited Bollywood Junction on September 17th & the food was delicious as always. We had Masala Fish, Methi Murg + Roti which we highly recommend. Rahul met us at the door with his warm smile & served us throughout. It’s one of our favourite places to go in MK & we’ll definitely return. The number of Indian & Bengali families who also dine there tells you how good it is.

Delicious food as always was enjoyed, with delivery bang on time. Perfect choice while thunderstorms have been non stop!

Food was delicious, service, pretty poor, felt overlooked and had to ask for our welcome drink, as it hadn’t arrived before our starter… which was 45 mins wait… Such a shame, but won’t rush back .

Third time eating here, and this is definitely not an 'average' curry house. This is an Indian restaurant, serving some genuine gems. In particular I've been working my way through the "streetfood" appetisers, which are beautifully presented, tasty, and will be new to people who only frequent ordinary places. Another good indicator of authenticity was my peshwari naan, which was freshly cooked and looked properly homemade - and was quite unlike something you'd pickup from a local supermarket and reheat. Definitely not the cheapest restaurant, but I'm happy to pay for quality. Great meal. Thanks to Rahul, who reminded me to leave a review.

Started off with a beer, okay. Had the mixed grill starter to share, nice chicken but lamb was tough and very fatty, not much meat for the size of the chops. Then the main dish, after waiting for more than an hour, totally inedible, I ordered a tikka masala but resembled a vindaloo, way too hot. After 2 spoons I could not taste or feel my tongue or lips, even the waiter agreed it was very spicy, still wanted to charge full price. Ruined my appetite as I felt sick. My 2 friends also had commented on the heat. Overall a disaster of an evening, won't be back here again, as to finish off, 8 quid discount from a 120 bill was 10% according to them. Paid as I just wanted out. Shocking restaurant.

Definitely the worst restaurant I have ever been to, food so spicy it was inedible, I only ordered tikka masala. Even my friend commented on the heat and the waiter also returned the food and agreed. Still wanted to charge. Customer service non existent. Not impressed as recommended. Avoid

Tried this restaurant out of blue and turned out to be a super good desi authentic restaurant in Milton keynes. The menu was very good, great options for both veg and non veggies. The ambience was nice and the staff was welcoming. Car park on the site adds more convenience…

Had a lunch with friends, six of us. The mix grilled platter was not good at all. Chops were not fresh and chewy, we did not eat. Though the green chutney and breads were good. We were the only table, still waiter forgot to serve the beer. Way too expensive. Will not return back

Today we had dinner with family including two kids. service and food were excellent. Naan were actually fresh and so good which is not easy to find here. You have very good staff and Rahul was very quick and considerate as we were with kids. We used to take away and it was our first dining experience,which is excellent 👍 Kindly pass my appreciation to Chef and kitchen team as well for wonderful food.

Visited over dinner, from entering till leaving, the service from Mr Rahul was amazing. He greeted us with a smile, order processing was fast, all our kids requirements were quickly addressed at the table. Food was hot and delicious, overall a good experience.

Albeit a tad expensive, food is great and portion sizes are good. Masala papadum, chilli paneer, veg Manchurian are all tasty. Salted lassi is a must try. Mango lassi could have been better Naan and roti were just perfect (neither too thick nor too thin). Friends tried chicken biryani however said it could have been better.

Got a takeaway again - ordering online was convenient as always, didn't take too long to deliver and the food was fantastic, simply delicious! Great selection of vegetarian options (palak paneer, baigan ka bharta , Punjabi chholey, hydrabadi daal and kukkad kamaal da for chicken option 🤪), full of authentic flavours. Yes, we were very impressed, thank you to the whole team from kitchen to delivery driver! PS: and if you haven’t tried the heavenly desserts from Sweet Affaire (next door to Bollywood Junction) you are def missing out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely food and impeccable service. We came as we stayed at the Stadium nearby and wanted to try somewhere local. We had a lovely meal and Sabera was really attentive and couldn’t be more helpful with the recommendations.

I was looking for traditional Indian restaurants and I didn't realize how lucky I was that came into Bollywood Junction, it was all 5 stars, to the atmosphere, the staff, the ambience and most importantly the food! This is my most favourite Indian restaurant around. From starters to desserts everything has that authentic north Indian taste with impeccable service. And their choice of Bollywood music is unbeatable. I am one of the most loyal customers who stick to one place if they maintain their standards through out.

Sukh waited our table. He is brilliant, friendly and polite. Kudos! Food is not so great. We had samosa chat and veg fried rice. Samosa is not fresh and is a frozen one, we were informed about this before ordering, but we still wanted to try. Veg fried rice is not upto the mark. I was expecting good flavour. An excellent selection of top quality indian and indo Chinese cuisine with one of the best vegetarian selection in the city. I keep coming back with friends and family twice or thrice in a month. We love the flavours at this place and the service is top notch.

The food was fine but we had many issues with it. Hair in multiple places such as the egg curry and my cup. My husband had a roti which had a long piece of plastic in it , they took the things off the bill but it took them ages to remake the old stuff, and while they did so, the food that we still had got cold. They still charged us for certain things that had been taken, such as a plate with a full meal on it. (Had rice and naan bread on for example didn’t compensate for those) It was just a really bad experience and to not make a big scene we didn’t dispute the fact our remaining dishes were all cold and half empty. They were busy so I didn’t want to make a huge fuss, but it was bad and we won’t come again. And then finally I put a special request for a birthday dessert or something like that for a birthday. It was ignored and we left worse then we arrived. No pics because they took everything from us so fast.

I have used this restaurant for a long time but never again. The lamb biryani is now served on the bone there was more bone than meat and the bone had splintered into the meat so I went in the bin. Also there pricing is very odd depending on what app you use there can be a £5 price difference on a main dish.

Came here for breakfast. It was faultless. Authentically flavoured, tasty and accompanied by good polite service. Portions were good sized so no issues there. The restaurant itself is clean and well laid out. Nice vibe. Nice mid-range . It’s not a cafe and and it’s not a garish over-the-top place either. Parking right outside. Will definitely be returning

Outstanding customer service, we eat here regularly. However today's customer service blew me away. At times I was feeling cold the waiter shut the door without me saying anything. Easily the best Indian food in Milton Keynes, by a long way. Authentic ingredients, BIG portions, and I think fair prices for such good food. Not greasy, not heavy - just full of flavour. You can tell care has gone into how the food is cooked, meat and veg always tender and properly marinated - unlike some other ‘popular’ Indian restaurants. Carefully chosen select menu too. Absolutely delicious. Great, friendly service too. 👍🏾

We are so thankful to the Chef- Surinder Singh for going extra mile in preparing such a delicious meal for us. We asked whether we can have something that doesn’t have onion and Garlic and the food prepared for us was just awesome. Thanks to the entire team and Surinder. Having dinner at Bombay Junction while returning from Luton Airport was a delightful choice. The ambience was nice, and I was pleased to find plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, which catered well to my preferences. One minor issue we encountered was with the timing of our starters and mains. Despite our request to have them delivered together, our bread arrived cold, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, it would have enhanced our experience if the Naan and Roti had been served hot. Overall, however, the dining experience was enjoyable, and the variety of vegetarian choices was appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this feedback, and I look forward to visiting Bombay Junction again in the future.
