Easily the best Indian food in Milton Keynes, by a long way. Authentic ingredients, BIG portions, and I think fair prices for such good food. Not greasy, not heavy - just full of flavour. You can tell care has gone into how the food is cooked, meat and veg always tender and properly marinated - unlike some other ‘popular’ Indian restaurants. Carefully chosen select menu too. Absolutely delicious. Great, friendly service too. 👍🏾

We are so thankful to the Chef- Surinder Singh for going extra mile in preparing such a delicious meal for us. We asked whether we can have something that doesn’t have onion and Garlic and the food prepared for us was just awesome. Thanks to the entire team and Surinder. Having dinner at Bombay Junction while returning from Luton Airport was a delightful choice. The ambience was nice, and I was pleased to find plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, which catered well to my preferences. One minor issue we encountered was with the timing of our starters and mains. Despite our request to have them delivered together, our bread arrived cold, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, it would have enhanced our experience if the Naan and Roti had been served hot. Overall, however, the dining experience was enjoyable, and the variety of vegetarian choices was appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this feedback, and I look forward to visiting Bombay Junction again in the future.

Had a delivery, driver was polite & had a good aura, I didn't get his name though - shout out to Chef Bhan Singh for the food, 0% inflammation & I don't feel like sh!t after eating - will be ordering soon again

Must visit for authentic taste of North Indian food ! I was at Lidl with my family and we actually remembered that this place has started doing breakfast. We decided to try it out and we were amazed with the experience of delectable flavours in each dish. Being extremely foodie I thoroughly enjoyed Dilli wala Bread Pakoda with Halwa Puri. They do serve Tawa Paranthe and Vhholey Bhature also. And cherry on cake was our cutting chai. Can’t wait to go back again and try other choices ! And not to forget - the ambience is beautiful/cosy unlike other eateries in the area !

Veg dishes are good like paneer tikka masala and bread platter. But non veg items are not much palatable like Egg fried rice, chicken noodle or chowmein items needs improvement👍. Desserts are the best here ♥️🙌

Was good few years back but unfortunately I have to update my review. It's now just a basic Indian restaurant. Management has changed. Portions are small and the service is okay. Currys are bland, average for MK (still better than most in MK but that's not saying much!) and the meat Currys don't have anywhere near the meat content they should have for the prices. Sorry guys if you go back to how your food was 3/4 years ago then it would be a different review. To bad, I used to enjoy coming here with the family.

Visited this place after going through the amazing rating and reviews they have here. Not sure how this place has such good reviews, I would not recommend it ever. The place had a foul smell when we entered, it was a total turn off. Service was very poor and the food was pathetic. They could do no justice to the Indian flavours. Right from the drinks, the starters, to the mains everything was disappointing. Had no guts to try the deserts.

An excellent selection of top quality Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine, with one of the best vegetarian selections in the city. Spacious, well-decorated and with non-invasive background music that won't spoil your meal.

The food was okay.. the korma was very spicy considering every korma I’ve ever had has never even had a slight hint of spice which was abit annoying as it was to much for my 2 year old… & £1.90 for 1 poppadom is abit pricy & the size of the naan for the price isn’t great either! Over all it was okay but didn’t blow my mind.. well except the spice in the korma haha!

Beautiful place in a very quiet and clean locality. The restaurant was clean and well organised. Service was excellent. Food wasn’t that good according to the prices and reviews I’ve read before going, so we ended up having starters only.

Lovely place with 90s Bollywood music at the background… gossiping can get bit noisy as more customers come.

We just had a chicken biriyani but not good enough …will get enough chicken pieces with a simple masala rice … i personally suggest that not try biriyani from here if you are a real biriyani lover😔

I took my wife out last night to this restaurant. Overall, very impressed with the food and customer service. The portion size was extremely reasonable even by today's standards and most of all the chef is clearly very talented. My wife and I frequently go out and we've tried Indian food ranging from Southall all the way to Birmingham and lots in between. This restaurant really was memorable of all the places we've been to and I would encourage you to give it a try yourself. If you're not looking for a full on meal, try the vegetarian appetizers as they were very pleasing.

This is my updated review, the food is still good, but the service and staff experience has deteriorated than what it was before. The food is amazing. Best Indian restaurant by far in Milton Keynes and near Bedford. I am vegetarian and lots of options to choose from.

A bit pricey but food was very nice

We visited Milton Keynes every year for our annual mot assesment course at this present visit we were late arriving to our destination where we stayed for the nights. As we were driving we were thirty minutes away to collect the food from this Bollywood Junction Restaurant. Food was prepared on time and we collected few minutes later. By the time we sat down to eat our foods because we were starving for foods unfortunately we had sorts dishes and we end up sharing although the curries had no flavour to it. Seem like same sauces been used for the panner curries and the chicken curries and the species vegetables like the onion been raw the green peppers been raw. The truth is never had such a disgusting curry flavour in my life. Honestly I would blame peoples who lives in this town because they don't know what is the real flavour of Indian restaurant curries. In my opinion they should not be operating as an indian restaurant anyway.

As a bengali man born and bread I know my food and this restaurant has really no experience of cooking The paneer and the chicken tikka masala sauce tasted the same with a kick to it my wife couldn't even eat hers I ended up with no vegetable curry so I had to make do with what ever was given to us There is no Taste to it at all very bland The restaurant staff were rude upon arrival didn't leave us feeling very confidant It also states mixed raita but that seemed to be with the invisible man as it was none existent as was my food This is the Worst experience in my life I will not be going back here In Southampton I have my own restaurant the reviews explain it for them selves

We went in a late Saturday lunch were seated before 2 pm. Starters were quite good, main course was decent but not as good as starters maybe because of what happened during the process. Just at 2:30 our main meals was served and other guests had just left, The restaurant switched off the music, not a big deal but kind of gave vibe to rush off. Per website closing time is 2:45. I would prefer to be politely told before seating that its late than creating unwelcoming gestures mid-way.

We came in for dinner and ordered the Fish Pakoras, Chicken lollipop, Lamb Korma & naan! Delicious food and probably best Indian food in Milton Keynes, a must try! For drinks, we had the Kingfisher, Strawberry mojito and Mango lassi which were delicious! The staff are also very warm and welcoming :)

Fabulous service. Food fresh and delicious as always. They quickly changed one of our dishes for my Granddaughter as she said it was too spicy for her. No fuss nothing too much trouble. Will always go here as nothing in the way of service comes close anywhere else.well done to them all.

We come here often and are never disappointed,the food is soo delicious and flavorful. I love the chicken tikka masala and the chicken lollipop which are my kids favourite! The staff is very polite and always come and ask us if we need anything. Would highly recommend

After fantastic takeaway’s - what a huge disappointment to actually eat in the restaurant! It was my birthday so we took a group of 10, and the entire evening was frustrating for everyone! We arrived at 8pm, and didn’t leave till after 11 - because the service was so terrible it took that long to get served food and drinks! It took over half an hour to get our first round of drinks - a few of which turned up undrinkable - a white wine which was dark and thick like it had been opened for over a month! After this we actually had to go to the bar and order/collect our own drinks as they were so slow! When it came to our food - we had to chase it several times as it had taken well over an hour - it turned up with items missing, and they even had to get the chef out to say what they’d actually cooked as the staff had no idea what they were handing out to people! It was even as bad as mistaking lamb for chicken!! When it came to pay, we had to ask for the bill over 6 times - with guests getting frustrated and asking for the bill at the till themselves also. The staff just shrugged off our complaints and said ‘that’s how it is’. I will never eat in here again - take away is the only option (and only that because there isn’t a competitor)

We always get takeaway from Bollywood junction but first time came for eat in on friday and our experience wasn't nice. The starters did not seem freshly prepared and were disappointing. Mains was better than the starters but just feel kitchen was under pressure with the orders and hence lacked the quality.

Visited for dinner with the family last week. Food: 5/5 (excellent) Decor: 5/5 Service: 2/5 (unfortunately no attentiveness, or checking how the meal is or clearing of the used and finished dishes. This was always having to be requested which doesn’t really give you the best impressions when visiting for the first time. However, will recommend visiting to friends and family

This is our go to place in MK from the last 1.5 years, lately there is a bit drop in quality for few items on the menu which hopefully would change soon. Update 31/10/23 - food quality has further deteriorated especially for the takeaways . Soggy dishes which are supposed to be crisp.

I was in Milton Keynes on business and was looking for an Indian Restaurant not too far away from where I was staying, came across Bollywood Junction and gave it a go. It's didn't disappoint food was beautiful and the service was great! Didn't wait long on my food. I'll definitely be visiting again

I attended Bollywood Junction last night or dinner for the first with some friends. The restaurant is quaint, and nicely decorated without going over the top. It was a lovely experience, and the ambiance was very welcoming and charming.The service throughout the evening was prompt and polite from the staff without being to overbearing. The menu provided was extensive with a variety of cuisines from the Chaat Counter to Indo Chinese and finally traditional Indian, at a very reasonable price. If you are a vegetarian, the vegetarian options on the menu are very impressive also. The Corriander Paneer we ordered as a starter, was the star of the show in my humble opinion, which was very moreish. We also ordered the small Mixed Grill and the Paani Poori which were also very delicious. I ordered the Lamb Bhuna for my main meal which was very flavoursome and the lamb was tender and cooked perfectly. All the food we ordered throughout the evening was excellent and tasty and the flavours were delicious and very well balanced. However beware the portion sizes are very generous so you may have to starve yourself for a few days before attending. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Milton Keynes, you won't be disappointed!!

Overall great experience. Our children loved the food and we had quality family time. Staff was very prompt and timed the food in such a way we did not have to wait between food. I would go again.

It was so bad we couldnt enjoy our meal as the mains were spicy. We had ordered kadhai paneer. it was too spicy even after we had requested low spice level at the time of ordering.

Came across this restaraunt as not far from where i live. When we arrived it was empty and was shown straight to a table, given drink and food menus but no one returned to ask if we wanted drinks. The waitress finally arrived and asked if we were ready to order so drink and food arrived together. No table check back so not asked for drink refills. Finished are food and was left to sit among our dirty plates. The restaraunt was getting a little busier so had to wait to ask the waitress for the bill as there was no one else . She finally arrived with the bill and stood and waited. The food was fantastic and good sizes.. will i return not to sure

A friend and I stayed in the area recently for a weekend whilst visiting Silverstone. Not knowing the area, but staying nearby, we tried dinner on Friday night at the Bollywood Junction. It was a fabulous experience. We were welcomed immediately, the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. We tried meat and vegetable dishes and sides, all of which were excellent. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant and on our return to MK, will not hesitate to dine here. Excellent.

I had ordered food in advance and it was supposed to be delivered around 7:30-8:00PM. I was waiting patiently and got a notification around 8:11PM from Uber eats if my order was delivered. Then I called the restaurant to see what the delivery status was. They said that DELIVERY GUY WAS AT YOUR PLACE AT 7:30PM. That’s not possible because we were at home waiting for the order. He came back after more than an hour with cold food. We don’t pay £23 to get this service and please send better delivery guy next time.

I am a big fan of Indian and Pakistani food, and I have been to my fair share of restaurants in the area. But Bollywood Junction is by far my favourite spot for choley bhatorey. The chickpeas are perfectly cooked, and the bhatorey (flatbread) is so soft and fluffy. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the dish is just the right amount of spicy. I also love the generous portions. I always leave feeling full and satisfied. The service is also excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always make sure that you have everything you need. I highly recommend Bollywood Junction for anyone who loves Indian food.

Really great restaurant selling traditional Indian food. The food even got my mum's approval, she cooks Indian food at home and never likes restaurant versions. Reasonably priced and the service was fast! It was busy and a bit loud. But I would definitely go again.

Good ambiance..food was well presented and delicious. The Kurkuri was the best we have had so far Goan fish curry was excellent... The service by the lady (Handi....apologies if I got the name wrong) could not be faulted. Definitely a place to visit in Milton...

Another disappointment dining. I have given this one several chances hoping things would have improved. But am disappointed every time. Ordered tandoori chicken. Felt it was reheated in microwave. Haven’t had such a dried chicken tandoori ever. In fact the biryani also felt heated up in microwave.

Went there at 8:30pm on a Friday. Place was super busy but they accommodated us just fine For the most part we really liked the food. Gobi Manchurian, Tarka Dhal and Aloo Gobi all very good. The Pani Puri presentation was a bit meh, but they tasted ok. So overall really good vegetarian selection - they also have some vegan dishes. (Like most Indian restaurants in this part of the UK about 50% of the menu is meat dishes. That's a shame but just points to how mindless and unthinkingly cruel your average UK person is. The restaurant is only serving demand ..) Toilets were spacious and clean. So overall definitely recommended.
