this is the best indian restaurant in wigan and the staff are so friendly and the food is exerlent and i would 100 percent go back

Everything looked tasted the same, bright red, couldn’t see what colour the veg was, doubt if the meat was lamb, more like sliced beef and pretty tough at that. No more for us…

Ordered a takeaway last weekend and the chicken shashlik was dry and inedible. The chilli chicken was dry and the sauce watery, Nothing tasted freshly cooked. I complained to the restaurant who apologised and offered us a free meal, which we had delivered this weekend. The whole experience was completely different, the food was fresh and the chicken in both dishes succulent and tasty. Customer service is obviously valued by this restaurant who went out of their way to rectify the issue. I have only given 3 stars due to the inconsistency, but we do plan on using them again.

We have been going here since the day it was opened to the public.. The food is always amazing, service is great and love the atmosphere at the Curry Pot.. It’s the most consistent place we’ve ever been over the years, can’t fault it and will continue to eat out here..

One of two amazing takeaways in the Wigan area, will definitely be coming back , ordered the treat box and I was blown away with how nice it was! Service was amazing and the staff are so friendly, no delayed times or messing around , going to be my regular from now on ☺️

Fuimos con nuestros hijos y nietos para Nochevieja. Un servicio encantador de principio a fin. Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia no fue la mejor. Estábamos apurados por la comida, los poppadoms llegaron cuando estábamos sentados. Los camareros preguntaban sin descanso si queríamos más bebidas. Los entrantes eran diminutos, nunca había visto samosas tan pequeñas, las porciones de arroz de setas eran tan pequeñas. Tuve balti de verduras con 3 trozos de verdura en una deliciosa salsa. Pedimos un café, alguien dijo que podríamos tomar uno en el bar y luego alguien más dijo que no. Habíamos esperado por tanto tiempo, tan decepcionante

Muy mal servicio. Han estado en este restaurante durante muchos años, pero desde octubre de 2024 el servicio es muy pobre; no hay suficiente personal sirviendo, tomando pedidos de comida y bebidas. Contratar a nuevos empleados es genial, pero si no están capacitados o no están a la altura de los estándares para un restaurante ocupado, entonces la administración debe mirar y escuchar a los clientes, porque no están cumpliendo con lo que se necesita. También masticar chicle en el fondo de una pinta de cerveza y que el gerente descarte esto con “Ah, bueno, pasa , voy a conseguir uno nuevo en un minuto “, no es aceptable; no se trajo una nueva cerveza de una pinta hasta que le preguntamos a otro miembro del personal, que luego fue gritado por el gerente. Mal comportamiento de gestión. Se necesita más personal y formación en atención al cliente y rapidez , pero aún así es necesario mantener alimentos de calidad.

2nd to none, James and staff are SUPER AWESOME. Food is ALWAYS AMAZING. Yet again, another GREAT meal. Perfect 👌

My partner is ceoliac (GF) never had any trouble here! Cater to his needs super easily and this is the only Indian thing we’ve found that offers GF onion bhajis and naan , if you send a message or call the day before your booking they will make sure they can make GF naan for you! Staff are lovely, food was delicious , cannot fault it :)

An hour is a little long to wait but food was excellent

Family get together , great food and service from staff could not ask for a better experience will definately be going back in the near future thank you 👍🙏
