Bindi is local to us and we're grateful for that. We always enjoy our meals here either when we eat in, or grab a takeaway. When we eat in we are made to feel so welcome and as if we are part of the family. The service is amazing and the staff are always attentive even with our young child. Our food is always delicious and the portions are a good size too. Thank you to all who work there

Desde el momento en que reservamos nuestra mesa, ella fue más allá para que todo fuera perfecto. Ella nos mantuvo actualizados en cada paso del camino llamando para confirmar detalles, lo que hizo nuestro día mucho más fácil y libre de estrés. La comida era absolutamente increíble cada plato estaba lleno de sabor y bellamente presentado, haciendo nuestra comida de Navidad verdaderamente especial. El ambiente festivo y el servicio excepcional hicieron que el día fuera inolvidable. Normalmente no escribo reseñas que mi pareja suele hacer, pero para esto, ¡simplemente no pude detenerme! Muchas gracias a Debbie y al equipo por hacer que nuestro día de Navidad sea tan mágico. Sin duda volveremos!

Third of fourth visit with my wife and mother in law Can’t speak highly enough of the quality of the food and the superb staff that work there. We’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants over the years and this is without any doubt one of the very best. We aren’t in Wigan very often but if we are we always try to fit in a visit

Buen servicio, buena relación calidad-precio y excelente comida. Particularmente disfrutamos de los dos platos principales de pollo asado y cordero Sagwala. Tanto de los chefs especiales como muy únicos y sabrosos. ¡Volveremos!

best Indian we have had really tasty

This is by far our favourite Indian restaurant to come too, we’ve been coming here for years now and are never disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious every time, we have never had a bad meal! They always go above and beyond, are so attentive and the service is amazing! We come in here with our 2 young children and they couldn’t be more accommodating and welcoming. We love it here as a family. Highly recommend to everyone :)

This is a very very poor restaurant. Tandoori Mix starter was completely cold. Staff very apologetic and said they would bring fresh. It was the same dish but microwaved, had exectly the same cut I made in it. Staff clearly embarrassed. Not recommended.

No podía creer cómo salieron todos por mí. Me sentí tan honrada. Debbie especialmente estaba allí para mí y me hizo sentir increíble. Es adorable, como todo el personal. Estoy tan contenta de haber elegido aquí para pasar mis 40 años. Gracias desde el fondo de mi hogar. De verdad os quiero chicos xxxx

Delivery took over an hour and 15 minutes. Chips were stone cold. Popodam were all broken. Not a great experience.

¡Wow! Nunca antes habíamos visitado a este indio a pesar de vivir en la zona. Todos estábamos muy sorprendidos por lo buena que era la comida. Los entrantes más deliciosos y el pollo tandoori fue de lejos el mejor que he probado. Servicio muy bueno, ambiente relajado muy agradable para los niños. No veo la hora de volver.

Absolutely amazing. The food tasted fabulous, the service was amazing, they're so kind, everytime I visit. While celebrating my sister's birthday, they surprised us with a sticky toffee pudding (I believe that's what it's called). It tasted amazing, along with all the food they served us prior for starters and our main course. Would 100% recommend if you want to go somewhere for special events like birthdays. The people working there were efficient and kind, I love going there.

Ate in here tonight for the 1st time. It did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was superb, the portions were generous, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was spot on. I honestly couldn't fault any of it and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend 👌

Went there for daughters 17th with the family, great service and great food, and what's more, its the same story every time we go, can't fault the place!!

Today we had a family meal for my husband 75th Birthday. Everything was perfect the food excellent the staff were amazing nothing was a trouble and there was 14 adults and 2 children well done to all the staff thank you for making his birthday perfect

Now I’m not going to lie when I say we are regulars we are regulars. Every other week. This is because the food is seriously out of this world and I’m surprised to see there’s no awards for the food. Amazing as always and we mean it. So we decided to have a different meal, purely because we know how good the food is anyway and wasn’t disappointed. I have the fish sizzler and my god it’s a must. Debbie (the senior waitress) god love her is a true gem and because of the excellent service we receive from her is the reason and because of the food we come as often as we do. Called in after reading some online reviews and we weren’t disappointed The 2 members of the front of house team were welcoming, friendly and professional The menu was extensive and full of variety All the food we ordered was excellent, lovely flavours and generous portions. Highly recommend a visit

Tikka masala tasted like tomato soup with spices was not what I expected

When Bindi changed ownership we worried that our favourite Indian would go downhill, and for a while our concerns were justified but after a bit of a rocky start they seem to have got their act together. We go here regularly and the food is always good the menu and chef haven’t changed, there is a great variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as fish and meat options. What did change was the hands on approach of the previous owners, this left a hole in both the personal welcome and the organisation of staff. However, the promotion of Debi to head waitress has rectified both of these issues, the welcome and service is once again as good as the food. So thankfully our favourite local Indian restaurant remains our No1.

The food smelt lovely from outside front door before we even entered. Friendly, wholesome service from the young lady. I had the tandoori mixed grill and a few other bits and my friend had a balti - Both were delightful. Would dine again if in the area

Absolutely fantastic, sweetest staff, lovely atmosphere and the price is pretty good for what you get. Recommend the Crispy Duck all the way if you're not a big spicy food fan but there's more than enough spicy and non spicy options

Always enjoy coming to this restaurant. Best Indian in Wigan imo. We are a group of friends who walk to Bindi 4 times a year. The reward is a warm welcome, great service and great Indian food. The manageress is very efficient and knows how to cater for our needs (12 hungry & thirsty middle aged blokes). Highly recommended!

Food lovely no complaints. Had to wait a while for it to arrive maybe because we went at opening time.. but on the whole very satisfying, would go again..

Bindi was recommended to us so as it was my husband’s 50th birthday we decided to book a party here and they had decorated the table and made it very special and very accommodating with young children (even bought out the cake singing happy birthday! Food was amazing all the family enjoyed it and will be booking here again for future party’s and date nights, Thank you Bindi x

Looks like my wife and I have a new favourite place to eat. Food was exceptional, I really loved the onion bhajis and mushroom puri. Not too expensive and the service was wonderful. We'll definitely be back soon.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my friends. Absolutely fantastic experience. The food at this restaurant is superb with beautifully presented. They made us feel truly valued as guests. They are friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back for more!!👍👍👍

Five of us went to Bindi and it’s By far the worst dining experience I have ever had. The service of this place is nothing short of appalling, we received our second courses whilst plates from our first course were left on the table throughout the meal. Two of our curries were brought out wrong, one was sent back and the curry came out wrong again. The food was very basic and lacked flavour. I would not recommend!

4 out of the 6 meals we ordered were terrible, Tasted nothing like what we ordered, First time visit and definitely the last, I can only assume that the good reviews on this restaurant are from people that haven’t ever been to another Indian restaurant and really should, Service was good, Staff polite but the bathroom is disgusting, Walls and ceiling full of damp/mould

Never again, food arrived 10 mins ago and went straight in the bin. The tandoori mixed grill was shocking and the prawns were welded together. You could even tell what was what. The tikka masala was like Heinz tomato soup poured over some chicken. … tried it on a recommendation but will take it on the chin and move on.

Absolutely love Bindi, the pride of Aspull! Staff are always friendly and food is always top notch. Wanted to try something a little different this time round and was not disappointed with the slow cooked lamb shank bhuna. weirdly, there was something about the way this dish sat on the plate surrounded by a nice moat of sauce that I found really fun and satisfying to eat. As for my partner, she will only eat curry (korma) if it’s from Bindi, I find this very comical but is a testament to Bindis great quality. Cocktails were also great

I ordered a takeaway from here, the children pakora starter I probably won't order again. I like my chicken succulent and not dry with a crispy spicy batter. It wasn't the best pakora I've had but it was ok The mains I had chicken Rogan josh and it was lovely and tasty. I really enjoyed it. The rice was absolutely spot on. The chicken tikka masala did just taste like chicken with Heinz soup but I feel that happens with a lots of places, if they just mix tomato sauce and yogurt they are giving you what it says on the menu but I love chicken tikka masala and only few places get it right. The naan bread tasted good, although it was very thin like a wrap but it tasted good. Mix review some lovely some ok I would eat here again but be more selective on my choice. Thank you

Fancied an Indian so I’d seen the Bindi and some colleagues who live up here told me it was good- they were right.Ordered my meal, and agreed to collect it. Very pleasant young lady who got my order prepared, I was offered a drink, I was driving so I declined, she kindly gave me a bottle of beer to take back, and put in two poppadoms. The curry was a balti, hot, tasty and just enough to give you that really authentic taste, nice keema rice and Bombay potato side. All tasty and nicely seasoned. None left and a lovely treat on a wet night I will return and go to the restaurant which was spotless, light and looked welcoming Good job Bindi

Visited not long after they had opened so was the only one there intill another 2 workers came in and with the whole restaurant being empty they were sat on the table next to me! Service and staff where great but unfortunately I wasn't a great fan of the food, I ordered a chicken tikka masala paswari nan and rice, there was no creamy taste to the masala but more of a tomato puree flavour the the nan was waffer thin.

We visited last weekend as a walk-in, four of us including my wife and myself, our son and daughter in law. We were warmly greeted and soon taken through to our table. Our son and daughter in law are both vegan and the manager clearly understands what is required to adhere to a vegan diet. He asked the chef to make a special recipe for the onion bhajis (no egg). Very good meal and service.

Regularly get take-away from Bindi, and am always very impressed. I have now tried most of the chefs special and signature dishes and find it hard choosing which one I will have because they are all so good. Staff and service as good as ever. Would definitely recommend.

Tried a new place tonight, really glad we did! The vindaloo is amazing, but spice is on another level! Garlic Naan 12/10. Didn’t see an option for paneer curry but contacted to see if they could sub chicken for it and they were more than happy to accommodate! Amazing service and food!

Once again the staff at bindi were as always extremely good, very professional and went the extra mile to make my family comfortable and catered brilliantly to meet my families needs,thanks bindi. The food was again excellent. The venue was warm and inviting. Plenty of room for parking. In short, cracking food,in a lovely place, at the right price, wonderful staff. Excellent food, reasonably priced, attentive service, very relaxed and genuine atmosphere. IMHO the Best Indian in a 20 mile radius. Just wish we lived closer for a takeaway delivery. 😁

Thirty six of us went to this restaurant everyone commented how fabulous the food was and the service was first class I highly recommend this restaurant wether you go on your own or in large groups the food and service are just as good

Came here last month with my daughter, the service then was better than 2nd time round. As a rare outing with partner we go to our local Indian. This time the service was shocking from the waiters, partner got his pint as I waited a good 15-20 mins for a cocktail that was served wrong. As few of the waiters where is my drink and a bottle of wine we ordered to go with the meal. Some where saying its on its way, whilst one, didn't answer. Food was meanwhile good. Asked for our bill which we than waited a 10-15 for it. We got it and then whilst waited again for someone to come. We got impatient and gone to the bar to pay. Wasn't even that busy, so don't understand why the slow service and ignored from some if the waiters. From a rare moment out together from work/kids etc, this service put our night out down a bit. Expected the service to be better like the last time we visited. Also add the fire system was constantly beeping, which didn't help.

Been here many times and normally lovely food but this time we book Christmas eve with the family and our experience hasn't been good. We ordered a veg Tawa and it came cremated due to a hot plate and no oil in the curry. Heat and dry veg makes for a sad burnt sight that made the whole side of the place cough. We sent it back as eating coal for Christmas isn't my idea of fun and the waitress argued with us that that was how a Tawa comes and insinuated that we just don't appreciate good food..... Sadly we have had too many good curries/Tawas elsewhere to believe such comments. Needless to say it wasn't just the Bad food that left a Bad taste, I never send food back normally. Bad food, bad service and now we feel like my lungs are smoked out. Won't be going there again... There's too many good restaurants out there with good customer service to have to deal with that.

Speedy delivery, but most of all amazing food as always

So me and my wife visited this restaurant 2/3 weeks ago, for the first time.....upon arrival we found parking the car was very easy as there was plenty of space, went in to the restaurant and was asked to take a comfy seat in the waiting area, as our table was not quite ready, then after about 5 minutes we were shown to a table, the waitresses took our order, having not eaten indian food much before, we wasn't sure as to what to order, so we had starters (4)..lol......all very tasty, hot, and absolutely generous in their portions. Moving on to mains, these were just simply amazing, arrived hot, super tasty and yet again plentiful in size. Because we hadn't been there before the owner came over in-between courses to ask how the food and service was and if we needed anything at all......as like his staff he was very polite and extremely attentive. We loved it that much that we're going to go back again, but take our daughter and her boyfriend I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough for service, value, tasty food...a all round brilliant night out. This restaurant is a real gem.

We had a large group of 21 and when we have been to other places with a large group service has been slow but the service here was great friendly staff good food one of the only places I didn't have a queasy stomach the...

The food was excellent, one of our party had the kidney starter which he really enjoyed. I had the onion barji, which where excellent. The chicken bhuna was so tasty and the naan bread was delicious. This was the first time we visited but certainly won't be the last

Bindi really great place to eat. Last minute booking. Staff ttentive the young lady hosting really nice...tbh all staff great. Liked that the owner personally came over to see if we had enjoyed our meal. Great food super tasty, looked and smelled as it should....

The food we had was amazing, I only gave 4 stars because the peshwari naan was missing.

We ordered the banquet meal: popadums were fresh and there was a good selection of five different sauces/chutneys. We ordered chicken tikka and the vegetarian starters followed by chicken korma and chicken balti. The meals were served in attractive metal bowls and were flavourful. My chicken korma sauce had a lovely balance between the coconut, cashew, and cream. Even better if there had been a bit more chicken provided. The peshawari naan was also good. Overall, we felt the banquet meal was good value and the food was tasty. The staff were very friendly and worked constantly to ensure we enjoyed our meal. We look forward to returning.
