The best restaurants serving Indian food in Lancaster North West

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Really good service, excellent food, great decor, not at all expensive for what you get compared to other places. Only possible negative was it was a bit noisy but that was down to other customers and out of the control of staff. Usually 9/10 but unfortunately tonight and actually last night (we are camping) 4/10 , ordered extra curry sauce that was seriously watery and keema naan that consisted of 0 keema and just naan . Really disappointed . We ordered extra sauce as we noticed that the last 2 times the curries had been lacking in sauce , which is the reason for this review . Not only are the sauce portions getting smaller but it now appears extra sauces are being watered down and either the wrong orders being give in relation to naan bread or again ingredient being reduced massively. Absolutely love this place usually been coming once twice a year for a few years and it’s just frustrating to see this

Got a takeaway Saturday night, chicken chilli and garlic and chicken naga, keema rice 2 garlic nans. Huge portions, fantastic flavour, good amount of chicken and spices. Would definitely go back.

The samosas at £1 each is a rip off, very small. At least 2 for £1, the onion bajees are worse, how can you charge £1 each? They are small to say the least.

Sent me a fifteen percent off thing online and when I tried to order through it said they were closed

Just had a lovely Indian takeaway delivered.Food was absolutely delicious!! Chicken cooked just right and King prawns cooked perfect and plentiful.. Thank you once again!!

Microwaved meals that have no taste,slow service and will never visit again

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. We went and were told (very rudely) that we can not eat there at all with an allergy. My 10 year old daughter was made to feel like she had done something wrong because she had a allergy.

After visiting quite a few times and enjoying the food, sadly will not return again following a disappointing meal yesterday evening. The restaurant was fairly quiet and there were 3 members of staff at the front of house. 2 of them spent some considerable time scrolling on their phones. They certainly weren't attentive to their customers. Drinks ordered and we opted for poppadums and a tray of chutney with was nice. The food arrived and my curry was good but the chapati was burnt, cold and tasteless. Had to wait about 5 minutes for my pilau rice to arrive. My friend noticed that her tandoori chicken wasn't sizzling like it normally was and the chips and her Naan were hardly warm. We mentioned to our server our dissatisfaction but he just quietly muttered sorry but no proper apology given. So therefore as I say it will be our last visit there.

Take away order… Had a 5+ takeaway orders delivered now from cafe masala. Can arrive within 30mins or 3 hours. One occasion it didn’t arrive at all. The food we have always enjoyed but have to reheat. Limited for choice on takeaways where we live, but if the service is offered it should be delivered.

Amazing food fast delivery really friendly

Very dissapointed with the tandoori platter last night. It used to come in a large round foil tray with tandoori onions. This time it came in a foil bag with no onions at all. Not good for £12.99.

The best curry ive had in a while perfect

Do not use this restaurant, it is a scam, ordered from just eat, order did not turn up, went to restaurant next to collect, to find it's ceased trading, but is still taking orders and money of people, never got my money back
