Excellent food as usual. We have eaten here a number of times and the food and service are always excellent. Excellent value excellent food excellent service.

I ordered food to take out. The person didn’t speak any English. I paid for my meal only to be told ten minutes later that the bill was wrong. I didn’t query this and just paid. After this I checked with another member of staff that the order was correct. When my food came I checked and noticed that I was short of a chutney given the guy who took my order didn’t seem to know what he was doing in the kitchen ( what I was given was appalling , old lettuce and a small half tub of mango chutney). I was then accused by the older chap of taking advantage of him with the order of a chutney. Who then proceeded to shout at me. The masala I ordered was poor quality and lacked any spice. No coconut in the Peshawari nan. This place is spent. Poor food and poorly run. Certainly will never be back.

The food at the Masala used to be amazing....I loved it! I hadn't had a take away for some time and decided to buy one for myself, sister and brother in law who were staying with me. We were so disappointed. None of us enjoyed the food and most ended up in the bin. I couldn't believe it. I'm sorry Masala but I won't be back.

starters were burnt to a crisp or dripping in oil. the main was good. this is the first time I've had a poor meal from them

Order from this takeaway frequently, usually good. Unfortunately on this occasion was a bit disappointing, all the food was cold, from the two curries to the chapatties, nan bread and even the rice making it less than enjoyable as it usually is.

So disappointed! I’ve ordered from Masala before and each time has been a good experience. Today unfortunately the food smelt and tasted off. This did not taste like freshly cooked food.

It was the best I have had in a long time. Piping hot. Well done.

Keema naan was perfect, korma was delicious and the biriani was spot on. I was super happy with everything and would highly recommend would definitely order again and this was my first time ordering.

Ordered a takeout from here due to being on Holiday at a near by caravan park and being unable to get booked into anywhere at such short notice. The meals sounded lovely so myself and my husband both chose something different to our usual orders and the children opted for 'chicken and chips'. My husband collected and was shocked our order came to £56!! ( our fault for not checking prior to ordering) £9 each for our children's chicken nuggets and chips .. £18 for soggy anaemic looking nuggets and some chips..disgusting!! Our meals were lovely but I feel over priced. More appropriate for those dining in perhaps but definitely not for taking out.

Dahl was a s bit disappointing, but both mains and other sides were very good. x

Got a delivery tonight. Both the curry’s had at least a cup full of water on the plates when we were half way through our meal. We couldn’t eat anymore because it was really watery. The onion bargees were really really greasy. Phoned up to complain and was told their policy is to not offer refunds. I stated I didn’t want to spend £40 to get rubbish food. They said they will put a free curry in next time I order but both curry’s were really watery and wouldn’t want to order again in case the same thing happened again.I feel the service is really bad when you make a complaint.

The flavours were amazing and was delivered on time, however the tikka masala was really watery which put us off a bit.

First order from here as on holiday. Food was outstanding everything there and hot with excellent communication from the driver. I would recommend to anybody that is staying in the area

Having arrived late I found my Chicken Dhansak to be watery and overpowered by the taste of pineapple, instead of being part of the flavour profile it totally dominated it. The ginger fried rice was greasy and didn't tase of ginger, the garlic nan and chips were good though.

Ready to collect when we arrived, food was fresh & tasty. Will order or visit when we are back again. Thanks

Excellent restaurant. The food and service was fantastic. I visited Masala with a large group of friends and each of us thoroughly enjoyed the good. On top of this the service was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting with family soon.

Ordered on Christmas Eve to eat on Christmas day....it was fab as usual. We had the tandoori platter & Juliet tandoori.... along with popodoms & chutneys, rice & nan bread. A brilliant alternative to turkey.

Food was good but delivered 3/4 hours early and we wasn't ready to eat it, preparing for Christmas, otherwise it would have been perfect. Had to insulate our order in towels to keep it hot.

Garlic naans that had not seen any garlic. Greasy tasteless rice and cheap chicken. The Korma tasted like it was out of a jar. I will not be rushing back! The worst curry my husband said he’s eaten.

Food arrived late, when delivered there was items missing so I rang to let them know and asked if the items could be sent, after 20 minutes the missing items hadn’t been delivered so I rang again, finally after 30 minutes the missing items were delivered. Delicious food but unfortunately let down by the service.

On holiday at ocean edge caravan park. So was worryed getting food delivered here would be a issue. But nope oreded from just eat paid online and just put in the notes to ring me on my nber from reception and I would come and collect it... And they did great food topped off a great holiday.

Fabulous restaurant great food. Great service Remember to take your own alcohol if you want a drink but there is a supermarket very close by. This should be number 1 restaurant in the area

Friendly delivery, outstanding food and I eat curry all round the UK while traveling for work. Fresh spinach in the potatoes, not overly salty... Will be having again! Oh and the Naan was taste and massive. 5 Stars

Came here last minute late on Sunday night. They fit us in, ordering was quick . The service was 5 Star , so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Food was beautiful. Would defo return

Food was delivered early and driver was lovely but that’s where the good ends, the food was bland, the lamb dish had four tiny pieces the rest was sloppy tomatoey sauce, both the main dishes were just runny sauce, i doubt it they had even seen any spices. The chips were soggy and undercooked, the mixed starters weren’t much better very greasy and lacking in any kind of flavour. Really disappointed at how much it’s gone downhill, used to love it but won’t be ordering again.

Had set menu for 4 - really tasty and arrived in a timely manner. The only downside was not being aware before arriving they they didn’t have a license - but they do permit popping next door to the Coop for some beers - which ended up making it even better value!

Very very oily food. Could have been more flavourful for the choice of dishes that we chose. It was hard to differentiate the flavours between the dishes even though they were supposed to be very different. The garlic naan was not garlicky at all and the keema naan was very dry with minimal filling and flavour. Portion sizes were ok for the price and the food was of a good temperature on delivery. Delivery driver was polite and courteous. Overall would I order from Masala again? Probably not to be honest

This was the first time returning to Masala after a previous bad experience with delivery. I still found the restaurant to be below average with their service and quality. I waited 35 minutes past the collection time for my order. When I got it home I found that my seekh kebab starter was missing. The sides where cold and the duck was dry and overcooked. The server/manager did apologise for the wait but still you expect better service and for the order to be right as well as on time.

Otdered from here tonight was told it would be ready at a certain time and waited 35 minutes longer for food then got home food was cold chips burnt also missing items out of order very poor quality will not be ordering from here again

Enjoyed the order but would suggest maybe cook meat a bit longer as it was tough, but the sauce was lovely and spicy.

having ordered 2 hours before delivery time of 7pm I was less than amused to not have my food delivered by 7 30 after I'd been notified at 7.10 that it was on its way but I waited patiently. it still hadn't been delivered by 7.40 so I telephoned the restraunt to be told they had been busy and it would be another 10 to 15 mins The discussion I then had was with myself as the person on the other end had simply put the phone down and walked away. I was not amused, No phone call to appologise, no little something for letting their customer down. The dinner still hadn't arrived by 8pm - I won't order from them again - the food was lovely when it arrived but I really wanted it for dinner not for breakfast, Unhappy Ex- Customer who had it been possible would have asked for theur money back

Be warned. 2 hours after ordering we called and were told the food has been made we are waiting for a driver then we were told the food had not been made. 3 hours after ordering I asked for the manager and wads told that HE was the manager. It turned out this was a lie too. If the food sits for 2 hours I think this speaks for itself. Last time we ordered it was late but the food was OK. Never again. Why is the customer service at Indian restaurants so poor.

I never leave reviews on restaurants but we were so disappointed with our first takeaway from Masala this evening that I feel that I have to. We ordered via the Morecambe Eats app and were told delivery would be 45 minutes. Once an hour and 15 minutes had passed with no updates, I rang the restaurant just to check in on our order and try and see how long they expected it to be. I very politely explained that we’d ordered the food an hour and 15 mins ago and just asked if he knew if it was on its way yet. The man clearly didn’t want to give me the time of day. I was really taken aback by his attitude! He was incredibly abrupt with me, didn’t apologise in the slightest and simply said “you see, we’re very busy love, it will be at least 20 minutes or so, ok goodbye” and hung up on me without even giving me a chance to reply!!! I phoned back, quite cross that I had been so abruptly hung up on. I told him that he hung up on me and I hadn’t finished talking. He apologised for hanging up but said the food would still be 20-30 minutes. I asked if it was still in the kitchen or out for delivery to try and gauge whether it would actually be 20 minutes and he avoided the question and just said they were “very busy” in the restaurant. I appreciate that they may have be very busy in the restaurant with it being a Saturday evening, but we are still paying customers by ordering a takeaway through them, and I was really stunned by how stroppy and abrupt he was with me. In the end we went to collect our order. The food was ready to collect when we arrived which was a pleasant surprise, and the food was warm when we got home, which again was good. However the food quality was really disappointing. Our curries were ok but the boiled rice was still hard/crunchy and nan breads burnt to a crisp. As we live locally in Heysham, we try to support our local businesses. However I am sad to say that we will not be returning to Masala. Very disappointed!

Very pleased cant complain but did think the chicken could have been cooked a little longer as i was slightly worried of the texture in the middle
