The best restaurants serving Indian food in Middlesbrough North East

Decent Chinese, nice food but found a bit of hair in my orange chicken. Can be hit or miss at times but it is a nice place for a reasonable price

A good Indian resteraunt must be judged by the quality of its food and this is Jamal's trump card. The food is fresh,beautifully created and delicious. You may have to wait at busy times but this is no hardship when the food is of such high quality.

Used to go to the restaurant many years ago. Took a nostalgic trip back to the Boro and ordered my old favourite - tandoori chicken, vegetable madras and rice. It was every bit as fantastic as l remembered. The best tandoori checken l ever had, and l have been to places all over the world (including India). Tasty, loads of meat, succulent and tender. Thanks for the memory!

Awful!!! Stingy portions!!!! Obviously costs have gone up !!! BUT , 5 very small pieces of chicken, watered down sauce- not much spice in the curries . we won’t be ordering from there again. Plenty of other places to choose from, which gives value for money!

Always wanted to try this place and wasn’t disappointed.Nice decor, friendly service and really good food served piping hot.

Love akbars, love the staff especially raj he always goes above & beyond food always fresh, the lamb is so tender also love the spice of the dishes, excellent value for money

Beautiful food every time , great value for money with the 4 course meal . Been going here for years and converted all the family members to go here also . I won't go anywhere else :-)

Value for money portions are big some of the best chips I’ve ever had and a decent chicken and donner kebab, I’ve also had a parmo and was nice👍

Worst I have ever had chips were dripping in fat madrass Was sweet like sugar awful never again just glad I didn’t order more
