Rubbish food ordered takeaway for butter chicken and saag paneer. Butter chicken taste was pathetic never in my life tasted such a sweet dish made with yellow colour. It seems as if eating sweet dish with hard meat and low quality meat. Also Tandoori roti under cooked. I will Never recommend this to anybody. Guys running this takeaway is very rude. If I had an option to select NO STARS I would have selected that.

Ordered a takeaway, Chicken Tikka Balti with a Chicken Tikka starter. The chicken Tikka starter was OK. The Balti was terrible, if it wasn't for the massive amount of Salt in the meal, there would have been no taste at all. Disgusting.

My child was pokey fell asleep for a few mins driver never left my food phoned up to be insulted by staff who were not willing to comprise said they would not leave food out side but I paid for it and not willing to refund my half of it then abrupt on phone and very aggressive do not order from here as u feel like thy will come for you and have your adress also driver is always stoned

One of the worst curry in Boro,asked for a spicy lamb curry but recieved the sweetest one there is.There were about 5 pieces of meat in the whole curry which was also undercooked.

Food is fantastic. Prices ain't the cheapest but worth it as the quality is their. Only ever go here when I need Indian chips chillin buhna (spelling?) And a few xtras always a win

Amazing food had a chicken jalfrazi, rice and garlic keema naan only place I go for curry always been spot on try it if you like curry also reasonable price.

Ordered beef madras at my friends last night chips normally lovely n beef madras normally nice , but last night chips werent the same , n beef madras was horrible watered down beef tough, i wanted to phone them n complain n my friend sed no point we just wont order anymore

Picked food up walked out door looked down and curry was spilling out of bottom of bag walked back in and explained and they said if wanted it changing we would have to pay they said we must of dropped it we said we hadn’t as just walked out of door what a horrible woman and man threatened me shouted and screaming at me

Very poor food quality and got the order wrong so asked for a refund but told they don't do refunds some of the food was cold would not go back here or recommend to anyone.

Food was very bland no flavours or spices, got chicken & lamb curry more curry sauce than meat & lamb was rubbery, keema naan more naan than keema all in all very disappointing will not be going there again any time soon.

Have been ordering from here for years, well over 20... over the last year or so receipes have changed, I get that things do over time. Chicken tikka is now too lemony and the nan breads have defos gone down hill. Last night was my last time ordering after finding a black 3ish inch hair in my food. Food was inedible and all went in the bin. Definalty wasn't a hair from anyone in our home as none of us have black hair.. gutted.

Yeah you can get cheaper if that is what you need (during present economic conditions) but the prices here which are reasonable are reflected in the quality of the food. Large portions of freshly cooked excellent quality food. I use various Indians in Middlesbrough, whenever I go here it blows my mind how good it is. Can't recommend highly enough. Saying about the cost earlier.... Try the set meal for one, tremendous value and quality and loads of food. 5 star

Chicken tikka masala tasted like a sugary korma. Vile. Plus ordered on website yet price was. More when they came to the door

Worst Madras we have ever had! Decided to try here as we haven't had one in ages. Big mistake. Consistency was as if it had been previously frozen. Wont be returning.

No sure if they have a new chef but the food is well below its usual high standard. Last 3 takeaways have been very disappointing so won't be using again. Chicken Tika under cooked, Curry swimming in grease. Best bit was the pompodoms. Sad because have been using for years but not any more. Hope they can get things sorted quickly.

New Year's Eve at home , the food was slightly late ,to be expected on New year's Eve , the food was nice and hot when it arrived and was very good each dish was really nice , the nan bread also good ,we will use them again helped us have a great night in Thanks

Very poor curry. Lamb was fatty, curry sauce was watery, Rogan Josh should be two parts, curry base with tomato topping. This was like a standard curry. Wouldn't visit again

Just ordered chicken tikka chips rice and naan bread...all I can say is the naan bread is ok....the chips were soaked in grease and I had to pour my curry out of the carrier bag...absolutly tasteless only live 2 mins away and it was stone cold..phoned up to complain and was told I can have a free bag of chips next order....never again..😡

Very disappointed tonight....use regularly and used to be a very high standard...ordered chicken tikka chilli bhuna...only standard chicken came and very bland...chappatti overcooked more like a poppodum...on previous orders one of main curries was missing that time rang them and they did replace the full order but just couldn'tbe bothered with that tonight after one hour delivery slot..overall I feel standards have slipped over the last few months...such a shame...

called the shop 4 minutes after recieving totally raw food , woman was totally disrepectfull and put the phone down on me,do not order from here

Ordered £31 worth of food this evening, meal came looked nice as usual untill plated up and sat down to eat.. Food was disgusting no flavour, funny texture to the chicken and 3 plates swimming in water 🤢 (clearly frozen) Rang and complained for 2 people to tell me its the condensation from the tub yett its usually fine, said I'd send photos of my meal to them they wernt interested kept asking me what I wanted them to do, obviously a full new meal one that's edible preferably 🙄 offered me some more sauce, yet the meal was all on the plates so rest of the meal will be ruined and cold. Weren't intrested at all in helping with the situation and wernt bothered when I said me and my family will take eour business elsewhere.

Absolutely appalling food and customer service.. Ordered £31 worth of food it was bland, no flavour and plates swimming in water. What a great tasty curry ! I was at hospital visiting and out of my local area and just googled Indian takeaway. I'm really pleased I did and thought the lamb was very tender and great quality ingredients 👌🏆👍

ive ate here since it opened i even have the old menu from back in the day anyways its nice and for the price it is good , portion size good they give you plenty also all the times ive asked for something to be done or added it is, also each time i ask for coriander in everything i get it and they do not charge a penny staff are great have a laff with them ( mr boom boom ) hah also been in the place a few times to pick food up but mainly order online its a nice curry house. ps the lamb tikka is the best in boro ....... ceebee

Have been ordering takeaways regularly from here for the past couple of years. The food has always been excellent and consistent. Their naan breads in particular are superb and the vegetable pilau rice is the best in the area. I have the Kashmir Kofta and she has chicken methi masala. Only once was the order wrong, an easy mis-communication (methi and murghi) but they were quick to deliver the required dish even though I felt 50% to blame for the mistake in ordering. Highly recommended.

Food was really good but very disappointed with the experience. Got our original order wrong and staff at the restaurant were very good at arranging for a replacement to be sent. My main issue is that the driver couldn't find the address and when I was giving him instructions started swearing and verbally abusing me down the phone. Absolutely unacceptable and will not be returning

Fantastic food always has been, chunks of proper chicken breast served in the amazing Dhansak curry sauce and hot chingaree rice and the chips best in Boro without a doubt.

Time to update my review. Went off for a bit but right back on form. Absolutely delicious curry rice nans the lot. Better than most restaurants What can I say your back on top.

I have been using this place for over 15 years but I will never order from here again. We ordered a meal for valentines evening, everything appeared ok, I got a chicken tikka dupiaza, looked great tasted like cardboard. It tasted like it had been cooked in a cheap tin of tomatoes , very watery and not what I was expecting. I phoned up to tell them about my meal and was offered a replacement by the young man on the phone , who was quickly shouted at by a woman in the background accusing me of wanting a freebie and lying, another man came on the phone and I explained my problem to him, he just said what do you want me to do ? I asked for a replacement or a refund and was flatly refused both. The service was like the food, shocking. Needles to say I will not return and wouldn’t recommend to anybody at all

We got couple of portions of korma was lovely and creamy lush skinny chips with 3 large naam breads. This is our local Indian we always use went in to pick up and did not wait long.

Food used to be beautiful but they appear to have become complacient in recent months or perhaps they have simply changed the chef. It has gone from Excellent to Mediocre. It's a shame because the food and service used to be very good.

We have been Using Maharaja for many years and it has been consistently good and often excellent; however, just recently the food has become average and often poor. Maharaja you need to pick your game up.

Four meals ordered, four meals eaten without complaint, decent amount, piping hot, good service, would use again without a doubt. Reasonable able prices.

Ordered a Madras. It was about as hot as bisto gravy. Can safely say will not be ordering from here ever again.

Don’t know where to start, delivery driver requested payment on delivery even though I had paid via the app. had to show her on my phone I had paid (slightly embarrassing as I was in a fully packed reception lobby). seems like the restaurant don’t put paid or to pay on the receipts (not nice for the delivery person). The curries were packed straight into a plastic carrier, no brown curry bag to keep the curry containers upright. This resulted in a large portion of the curries to leak into the bags and soak the outside of the containers. Both curries were poor, both tasted the same (in a bad way) and very oily. how is it possible for a vindaloo n bhuna to taste exactly the same. We also ordered Chapatis to go with the curries. They were all very thick (similar to a a tandoori roti) and were well under cooked, doughy. Overall bad food, and service, would not recommend to anyone. Tempted to request my money back but have binned the curries and ordering from the restaurant in the hotel. awful, truly awful. stay well clear.

Food was superb... but no need to extend the delivery time to 75-90 mins just for you send it within the hour which is standard delivery time ( therefor you get a delivered early rating )... none the less food was awesome

Restaurant sent us the wrong dish instead of Chicken Tikka Spicy Masala and the Plain Boiled Rice wasn't anywhere to be seen. After calling about the missing rice (hadn't realised the spicy masala dish wasn't the right one before calling), they said they would deliver it in the next 10 mins, it took 20. Food was nice, but when you order something you kinda expect to receive what you order!

Well, the food was hot when delivered, I had the lamb dansak it was very very tasty just lovely, my wife had the bhuna chicken and again excellent we had the mixed play rice and it went well with the food, aloo Gobi and the other side dish fit in Well, that left the keema nann to mop up all that lovely curry sauce

I use to live this place, the Bombay Aloo worth the money, the curry I ordered a jalfrazi was pretty bland and the beef was such small chunks legit I should of ordered a vegetarian curry... Wasn't what I expected to be honest. This place use to be full of flavour and use to have massive chunks of meat.
