Excellent food, very friendly people. Nice modern decor. Parking close by. Altogether a very nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

Good and service was spot on. Will be back very soon. Brilliant value for money we went for the meal deal costing £20 each.

We had a fantastic family meal for Fathers Day. We had booked the Sunday buffet but they weren't doing it so advised the £20 banquet. We had wanted the buffet to try different things so they did our very own buffet with a variety of different starters, curries, rice and naan breads. There was so much food we had 2 doggy bags but the variety and quality was superb. We will definitely all be back soon

The main course we ordered for take away was extremely sour both the dish lamb charsi and chana panner balti extremely sour. No hospitality

What another amazing experience. Honestly could not do enough! The food was absolutely incredible, well worth the money and then some! I honestly cannot rate this place enough!!!!!! Get yourselves there guys? You fancy something to be an explosion on your pallet, this is the place!! Food cooked to perfection, service tremendous! What a cracking place to sit and enjoy a meal in fabulous ambience, which doesn’t cost through the teeth!!! Thanks again guys 🙂🙂

We have had food from here a few times this year, we ate in just before lockdown and the service was amazing, the food was delicious. They recommended dishes that suited all our individual tastes and they were spot on. We have had a few takeaways during lockdown which we have collected and the portion sizes are very generous and the food is just as nice as eating in. I will definitely continue to go here and have recommended it to several family and friends.

Midweek chilled out meal with amazing food. The best puri I have ever tasted. Service was friendly, attentive and timely. The flavour of the food was amazing and we enjoyed it all the more with a lovely bottle of red Rioja. I will certainly be returning and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow. We got a Groupon deal and didn't expect too much however, food was delicious, out of this world. We had a few cocktails to wash it down, again lovely. Can't fault the quality. Defo be back

Ordered butter chicken and the sauce was so sweet and pale? I thought I had been given the wrong meal but a lady near me ordered butter chicken too and it looked the same. I couldn't handle the sweetness so tried taking the chicken from the sauce. What was left was miniscule and this place isn't cheap. The accompaniments weren't much better... hard paratha, we could only eat the outer edge. Nice looking place but food is horrible.

Had a real good evening with the family. Food was one of the best I've tasted in a long while. Will definitely be going again

Ok so my review is based on sitting in and eating, I have been here a few times and have always sat in, so cant comment in a takeaway.Great choice of food, although I always have a different starter I have the same main every time, and I would be gutted if they ever change the recipe or take Tikka Masala off the menu. The food was served hot and my starter came out sizzling hot...literally. Rice and Nan breads are large enough (for us) to share with two people. Pops and Dips to start with, all good with no complaints. All staff are lovely and friendly and the place is very clean. Would recommend this place to anyone for good food at great value.

Worst Indian food in Middlesbrough. Diabolical service. Rude staff. I would suggest you go to Akhbars for a much better meal and courtious polite service.

Went here with a friend a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the nan breads were the best I've tasted. It had a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Good value too!

Bought a groupon deal meal for two when arriving to the restaurant the staff were very welcoming to us the poppdoms and dips were very tasty followed by the starter wow very nice nothing was rushed. It was then we had the main very nice taste couldn't of been better we had a lovely meal and had fantastic meal we will be going again thanks delilounge for a lovely meal me and hubby will be back

Wow I've eaten a lot of Indian curry's this was by far the best in teesside! The saag and pathia was super tasty full of fresh herbs and spices. The lamb chops for starters. Come on a sizzling plate really done lovely. The service was so friendly and attentive, even the mint yogurt was creamy and tasty. Will be coming back again!

we found the restaurant nice and clean with very attentive staff, they could not have been more attentive. the food was excellent, we all had different dishs and everyone was more than happy. will definitely be back again.

Visited here December 19 with small group of friends from work.

This was our 1st visit to the Delhi lounge and paid through groupon. When I purchased the voucher it gave me the option to reserve a table which we did. On arrival the staff were very helpful and the meal was delicious and plentiful. They scanned my voucher with no problem at all and I paid the remainder for extras. Overall a lovely 1st time visit. I would go back

We were told we could not use our groupon voucher because we had booked a table online. This turned into an expensive night as we had to pay the bill in full which was £45, as well as the cost of £11.95 for a useless groupon voucher. All seemed like a bit of a scam to us. The food and service was nice enough, but nothing special.

This is my favourite curry house fact! Ok so staff do vary from time to time when I have visited here, but the food in my opinion is always consistent.

This was the first time we had been there but had heard good reports.

We have been here many times and always had good food and service. On this occasion we had neither. The starters were poor quality and tasteless we didn't finish them. The main courses were sadly lacking too. We all ordered different dishes and when they came the base curry was the same, lacked flavour and the meat dishes the meat was tough (chicken, lamb and beef). The rice was overpowering in taste, probably to make up for the lack of flavour in the curries. One taste and we all left our meals.

Ordered a takeaway which took 2 hours to arrive and they have the audacity to charge for the delivery. If you are have company round for a meal or are simply hungry give this place a wide birth. Shocking.

Not many people in but it was early, the food was very nice, I had Chili Masala, my girlfriend had Shashlik. Both great very tasty, onion bhagis also spot on. I will be going again.

We collected a takeaway from here tonight. Always been very happy with the curry’s here but tonight we ordered the same as usual and it was very disappointing. Lamb was quite tough not a lot of veg just lots of sauce in Balti. Balti was also quite spicy

food arrived eventually, was very nice, couldnt fault it,but a few things put me off going again,first was the manager ,who i think is called odin well the way he spoke to the staff was appalling in my mind a complete kn++ head,another is the delivery drivers ,walking up and down with big delivery boxes,not very nice when your out supposedly having a quiet meal,and although the decor is nice,a good carpet clean wouldnt do any harm its filthy

Very disappointed was advised to try a Raza it was suppose to be like a jalfezi it nearly blew my head off! On arrival of food looked as though it had been stood for awhile. Nev we throughout or after taking our food away were we asked if everything was ok. A very expensive mistake.

Very friendly staff here and good quality food. This is my second visit to Delhi lounge and the staff are so friendly. Plenty of variety of curries and prices are reasonable

Was four of us from the office all ordered dishes with naams and poppadoms, onion bajis the full works. All shared was like a big banquet the only problem was we couldnt finnish it. Service was great plenty of cobra on draught to was the lovely food down with. Excellent place, everything clean and spotless.

We ordered here last night 20 October.. we ordered for it to be delivered for 7 20 it came a few mins earlier which was fine. When we looked at the food it wasn’t what we ordered. My partner ordered a chicken tikka massala but this was black and was disgusting it clearly wasn’t what we ordered and mine was meant to be a butter chicken but wasn’t. When we rang up to say we have received the wrong order we were told that we would have to wait 20 mins which was fine. 40 mins had passed, so my partner rang back and was speaking to the manager called Odin who was a complete d**k. He hung up on him 3 times and said we had to take it up with just eat and to stop ringing because they were busy. The only way we would get our currys was to actually go down to the shop even when it was there fault. The service from the manager was awfull he needs to get some people skills! When we rang back for the 4th time he spoke to a women who was very helpful and sent our curries to us. We didn’t receive our curry’s till 9pm that is unacceptable!! We will never order from here again and I will make sure everyone I know doesn’t even come and order here. It needs to change ownership before I ever return after always ordering all the time!! We also ordered a tiger lager which stated it would be 1.5l for £3.99 this was not the case it was false advertising because when it came it was 658ml. When we mentioned this on the phone they wouldn’t refund us the money all he kept saying was we need to contact just eat. Very disappointed!!!

Ordered take away for delivery at 22.18 arrived at 00.05. Pathetic service. Need to get their act together.

Went to Delhi lounge for take away last night coz my preferred Indian was too busy but wasn’t disappointed, had king prawn on puri tandoori mixed grill veg curry and mushroom pilau , took a little longer than planned but we a got couple of extras to compensate. Food was excellent tasty and cooked to perfection, I particularly appreciated the customer care very apologetic for slight delay and I felt just as important as restaurant guests , I will return well done

The food here is absolutely lovely. Had the Rogan Josh and it was spiced to perfection. The lamb was really tender too. Friendly staff and everything was spot on!!!

I travel the country looking for the best Indian Restaurants and last night on my doorstep I found this absolutely superb Indian Restaurant where I took my girlfriend to.

This place is shocking! Gone down hill in taste of food and service. What’s happened to the old staff the recognisable faces ? You need them back. You need to old chef back. The food is full of oil the only thing that is nice is the naan breads

Visited on Valentine’s Day we had won a free meal and as usual it was up to its excellent standard for both food and service will definitely be returning gorgeous new desert menu definitely worth a try.

My favourite curry house by far Food is beautiful from here and when delivered it's always popping hot Well worth a visit

Went on works do food fantanstic pasandra was creamy and chicken melted in your mouth. Excelent environment great service and lovely large bottle of cobra. Excellent value for money. Best indian in middlesbrough well worth a visit.

I tried Delhi lounge for the first time last night after reading all the good reviews it's had but was dissapointed ....I ordered 2 curries onion bhaji keema rice and nan .the curries had a bit of a bitter taste to them and we're both very similar the "marinated "chicken was dry and tuff ,the onion bhaji was dry and hard and cudnt eat them ....the rice and nan were OK ....so over all 2/5....don't think I would go bak again there is a lot of better places in borough .....

absolutely gorgeous madras dishes. The naan bread and keema rice were both lovely. can't fault the food at all. my only negative is the delivery charge when I live less than 3 miles away.

We've tried curries from all over and this as got to be the best we have had, was really shocked at how big the size of the portions were... will be ordering again very soon :)

Ordered fish curry and was very nicely cooked which i enjoyed very much. Good place and staff are very friendly . However their bottled Cobra beer was being served without being chilled , they tried to make amends with offering another bottle of beer....whats the point so declined ....as this also not chilled.

I am not impressed with my order I love the dehli lounge and never had any bad food from there but tonight we did poppadoms are burnt plain naan bread is burnt chicken so dry and not tasting the flavours like normally our order has gone straight into the bin really not happy

Paid just under £25 for mine and my partners tea there was no onion bargies which we get for spending over £15 missing mint yoghurts and missing salad which caused me not to enjoy my meal at all and ended up bining most of it tikka rice and chips were like warm and very dry very disappointed especially for price.

asked for the chicken balti madras hot but wasn't hot but the chicken balti was still as tasty as always love the Bombay aloo and chilli masala

Normally order from here as the food is lovely but it's very frustrating when it never arrives on time :(! Placed order at 7.15pm due to be delivered at approx 7.55pm then thi changed to 8.20pm but it didn't actually arrive till 9.25pm! Would have been quicker to go to the restaurant and have the meal! Even had to reheat the food when it arrived! Very disappointed 😔

I have ordered food from this place tonight and also used in the past. Tonights order was placed at 8.02pm I have just had to ring and cancel as I am going to bed 10.35pm. We have waited more than 2.5 hours for this and it is still not here. we rang 3 times to chase the order to be told the driver is out with it. The first time they said he had been gone for 25 mins. The second time they said he had set off 10 mins ago. This is TOTALY UNACCEPTABLE. I would not recommend anyone to use. The attitude on phone staff was not acceptable. They were blaming the kitchen staff and all sorts. *****AVOID AVOID AVOID*****

Unfortunately I found the big round bajiis far too greasy and overcooked. There was only 2 king prawns in my puri. The house special I enjoyed.

Food was gorgeous as always but I ordered two garlic nan bread but only got the one! But will order again :)

We regularly order from Delhi Lounge and love their food. Tonight we decided to order threw just eat. We ordered this way so we were able to pick a delivery time of 19:30.. Firstly our order arrived 40minutes early... 18:50. When we mentioned this to the delivery driver he checked the receipt and confirmed that it was definitely ordered for 19:30 and could only apologise. The second problem we had was that we ordered a lamb hariali and instead of this we got a chicken hariali. I am not slating their food in the slightest as it is normally really tasty however I am very disappointed that the order arrived early when we were not ready for it and the curry was wrong.

First time here and it was lovely. Food was got, fresh and plenty of it. Even gave us some onion baji free. So thank you. We will definitely be ordering from here again and I will be telling all my friends.
