I dined recently at this restaurant with a large group. Sadly we waited over 2 hours for a table after booking ahead. The staff could not have been more unhelpful and disinterested with no standard of customer service ! We won’t be going back to this restaurant!

Wonderful introduction to Indian food. Chaz/chad was super helpful and made lovely recommendations for us. We had lamb Rogan and chicken korma. Next time we’re in Barnard castle we will definitely come again.

Had a weekend in Durham and looked for an Indian prior to our visit, it didn’t disappoint, loved the visit, all four of us enjoyed an excellent meal, had great service from the whole team in a lovely place built into some ancient walls. Highly recommend!

Must visit always my go to over anywhere in Durham for a great bit of grub. Staff always friendly and welcoming most of know my order off by heart. Would recommend to anyone visiting or from the area!

Ordered our takeaway on a Saturday night it came within 30 minutes it was hot and delicious. It is unusual for any takeaway to arrive on time and be hot but Mumbai managed this I had chicken takeaway masala with pilau rice and spicy chips i would recommend this takeaway/restaurant 😋 👌

A slightly quirky setting with fabulous food, a little different from a standard menu, perfectly cooked and with excellent balance of flavours. Staff are excellent too.
