Sagar Indian Restaurant in County Durham

So after 4 hours waiting for a delivery we went to bed. They wouldn’t answer the phone or messages and didn’t bother to get in touch. Apparently (according to my neighbour) the food did arrive 5.5 hours after ordering.

Now I understand most restaurants / takeaways will be extremely busy on New Years Eve, but from my view they let a lot of people down including myself. I placed an order and told a pick up time of 8.45. Upon arrival the restaurant was busy with a lot of angry customers (some who had waited over 2 hours in there for their food). No one greeted me or others, or asked who we were or what we had ordered. When I finally pulled someone I told them my order which was written down by them.. they then took over an hour to cook my food (and only started when I arrived) - as seemed the case for a lot of people there. Very frustrating esp when I wanted to get home and enjoy somewhat of what was left of New Year’s Eve. No apologies or no time of how long it would take.. just me sitting in there ... waiting.. it finally arrived and still no apology! Got home and part of it was wrong.. due to the time there was no way I was going back (believe they took the phone of the hook). I’ve been a customer for many years in the restaurant and takeaway.. oh and they overcharged me but at the time I just wanted food (would have been too late to order from elsewhere). I may be wrong, but don’t take so many orders that you cannot handle them, also be prepared and it’ll go smoothly! I felt for the chef, but management has let him down and the customers The only reason it’s gained a 2 star is the food! That’s saved it from a 1 star, (food spot on, service disgraceful). Because of this and no apology on line or on their FB page, I’ll be going elsewhere.

Really really disappointed by the quality of the dishes served in August. I have been to many Indian restaurants over the years, but never have I been served such bland food. Not sure the meat had even been cooked in the sauce .,, This meal was supposed to be a treat for my mother who hadn’t been out to a restaurant since lockdown (and was a little nervous), but the restaurant was crowded and noisy. The tables were far too close together (definitely not respecting the rules of social distancing) and one of the waiters actually pulled his mask down onto his chin to speak to customers! Customers were allowed to wait for their table inside the restaurant, even though the weather was warm and dry, meaning we had to squeeze past a group of people on our way out. Hmmm

Superb food but be prepared to wait especially if it is for delivery! 2 hours and 16mins is our longest wait which was a Saturday night. The restaurant is nice and relaxed and they serve a great selection of dishes Pity there’s no 6 star button

We had a takeaway from here before pandemic and we not to impressed after having some beautiful meals but thought we would try again in case it was a one off. Unfortunately we were unimpressed again bland food and really disappointing rice and lamb dupiazza was very unimpressive not good at all.

When we got in the grip of this lockdown Sagar delivered restaurant quality food that was fantastic.However as the weeks have past the quality has dropped which is disappointing to say the least. Last weeks masala was tasteless however my meal was lovely.Tonight the main meal was quite nice but the rice was very watery. Come on Sagar you need to get the takeaway menu back to restaurant standards and your more than capable of doing this.It’s all about quality not quantity and keeping a good reputation.

After an unusually below par meal the last time, it was good to see everything is back to normal ! I had the same dishes & they were absolutely spot on, just as I've become accustomed to.

Visited with Tracey and two of our friends. We have not eaten here for a good while and we were not disappointed. The staff are very welcoming and the special menu has great variety and is very good value. The food was first class and the variety on the menu provides for all tastes. Would recommend to all who visit Seaham and enjoy top class food.

I dropped in for a quick early meal.The poppadoms & pickles were good as usual. Starter of chicken chaat was good too. I ordered chicken tikka madras with cashew pillau & a paratha which I asked for thin & crispy, as I always get. The chicken wasn't tikka, but I could live with that ! The rice was nice, but the curry was extremely bland, just hot gravy. The paratha was over cooked though & was very black & burned, unlike they usually do it. I mentioned to the owner at the time, but I'm sure this is just a 1 off, as Sagar has been one of our favourite restaurants for many years & we'll be back for sure.

We found the Sagar quite by accident and oh my! It serves the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Delicate, wonderful menu and wonderfully presented. The place is really cosy, the waiters are very attentive and polite. Without doubt the best Indian restaurant we have ever eater in.We made an excuse to go back the next week and it was simply wonderful again.

I have been here a good few times and have never been disappointed. Portion sizes are great, food is full of flavour and the staff don't rush between courses or at the end of the meal. I will continue to come here

Visited after a recommendation and I’m glad we did! The restaurant is well presented and modern, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The menu is extensive and varied with both ‘traditional’ dishes and contemporary ‘fusion’ options.We all went for the special set menu which we found covered all of our tastes. 1 vegetarian, 1 spice avoider, 1 medium dish fan and 1 heat lover.So the onions bhajis were crispy and delicious, the bhuna prawn on puri was had plenty of prawns and was tasty and cooked to perfection. My tikka chicken paneer was superb!Chicken korma was ‘the best one she’s ever had’ the hariali was ‘delicious’ the vegetable hariali was ‘absolutely lovely’ and my lamb balti was authentic and very good with lots of tender lamb pieces. The best I’ve had in a long time. Vegetable pilau and plain naans completed the feast and were delicious. All a credit to the kitchen. We will definitely return, it’s worth the half hour drive!

We did not have high expectations after visiting a few of Seaham’s restaurants, but we were really surprised.A very nice and clean place with comfortable chairs and fresh white tablecloths.Friendly staff.An enormous menu og which we chose naan bread , raita, king prawns w mango, lamb and prawns tandoori.Everything was tasty and the indicated strength of the dishes was as expected.Highly reccommended.

New in the area and passionate about Indian food so needed to find a good local. First time here and we are more than impressed. Really friendly staff and good prices. Great menu on variety that catered for both our meat eaters and vegetarian/ vegans. WILL 100% BE COMING BACK.

Out for the day with my wife, it was early evening and we decided to eat out rather than return home - I suggested an Indian meal, she agreed. I headed straight for the restaurant I knew in Seaham however too early and over an hour until it opened - my wife then tells me there’s a 2nd Indian restaurant in Seaham, where she has visited with some of her friends. We arrived at their front door a couple of minutes later and they had just opened, in we went. A friendly welcome on entering and needless to say it was empty / what a lovely place, modern and bright. Good menu with a wide selection and we decided on starters with mains and share a naan bread. Service matched the welcome - the food was well presented with excellent and tasty choices. There was a steady stream of take-away customers and a few who were eating in - obviously a popular restaurant and I didn’t know it was there and also good value, not too expensive. Good choice and we will be back.

Called here for an evening, meal with friends the staff are friendly and helpful the restaurant was quite empty and the service a little slow the food was not up to the usual standard the curry I ordered was dry and not very hot This may just be a one off and won’t put me off from visiting again

Thought I’d give this place a try wish I hadn’t ! ordered the chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and a keema nan a Saturday night treat for myself . Woke up Sunday morning and I’ve never been off the toilet ‍♂️ cramps in my stomach pain I carnt explain I thought about what I’d eaten on Saturday and I’d only had this to eat all day so my advice is don’t get the tikka masala if you don’t want to be on the toilet all day

This is the best Indian restaurant I have been to. Not only is the food delicious but the service is brilliant by very professional staff who can’t do enough for you.

Very good indian restaurant in Seaham. Have been many times. The interior is smart and comfortable. We had the early evening menu which includes starter, main including rice and naan then coffee or ice cream. There is a very good choice of starters and main courses and you choose feom any rice or naan from the main menu for £13.95. The service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the food as usual.

We just popped in on spec without a booking & weren't too hungry, so just had poppadoms & pickles followed by mains. As usual, poppadoms & pickles were good, always plenty pickles & not those silly little portions you sometimes get. Mains of chicken shashlik & chicken Korai bot were excellent, with a nice thin paratha as I'd asked for. Great hospitality & service as usual.

Best Indian food we’ve had in a long time. Small restaurant which I should imagine will be busy weekends, holidays etc so went mid week, early evening.

Ate here on New Year’s Eve. The food was ok but didn’t have a lot of taste. Waited ages between each course. We’d had to pay a deposit but this wasn’t included when we got the bill. Luckily we checked it before we paid. Won’t be rushing back.

To be honest, the two younger (20’s?) waiters were kind and provided good service but the older man who was the acting manager was a disgrace. He made it perfectly clear he objected to my wife being present in our family gathering with my 9 week old son, he would not talk to her directly and when my son dirtied his nappy and needed a change he made my wife and I feel extremely uncomfortable, loudly proclaiming that no, she couldn’t change his nappy in the toilets (no change station despite ample space for one) and that if she HAD to, she could change him in the draughty porch...at 9 weeks old..having just got over Bronchiolitis. He clearly has a 1950’s mentality or perhaps is just a plain old misogynist. In 2019 it’s a bit odd having to talk ON BEHALF of my wife to order her food because the restaurant manager won’t speak directly to her.

Booked here with friends - 8 in total and all had the set menu on a Sunday evening. Great choice of starters and main course with rice, nan and then either ice cream or coffee to finish off.

As usual the poppadoms & pickles are good. I challenged the owner to make a crispy bhindi bhajia & a Tikka Chicken Korai as good as his brother makes ! The gloves certainly came off !! Everything was excellent, including the thin paratha I requested. Portion sizes are good, loads of chicken in both dishes. A nice couple of pints of Kingfisher made it an excellent evening. Great service & hospitality. Sagar is definitely one of our favorites.

Just as good as last time and well worth the 10 mile round trip to Seaham, On a par with nearby Ashoka but better parking.

One of our favourites. Always a warm welcome & good service. We couldn't manage a starter so just had poppadoms & pickles, and there's always good portion sizes of pickles. My Wife regularly asks them for a veg badami, which isn't on the menu, but it's never an issue to them. My Madras curry was nice & tasty without being stupidly hot. Nice naan bread & a pint of Cobra made for a very enjoyable evening.

We dined on a Saturday evening and had not made a booking. However, we were made very welcome and received excellent service throughout the evening. The food was delicious, very hot and extremely well presented. Excellent value for money.

Been here quite a few times now and it's my favorate indian restaurant in the area. I'm originally from the Midland's so no a good tasty curry. If you want a decent curry come here. Staff are always friendly and the pint on tap is always good too.

We've "eaten in" here on several occasions and always found the cuisine excellent (as a Bradford native I think I know a good curry lol!) so had no worries when ordering a collected takeaway (only for me, Diane wanted a kebab from another establishment). The Chicken Madras & Naan were on time and absolutely delicious!

Popped in tonight for a quick curry. The food was fantastic, service was great and cannot believe we haven’t been here before. The chefs special mixed sylhet and chicken hariali were superb. Fantastic!!

Absolutely delicious is the only way I can describe my food at Sagar.

Had a takeaway that was Devine, excellent quality and quantity with authentic flavour, good value, I have only had take away but on my next visit I will eat in. Highly recommend, the BEST IN SEAHAM

Used this whilst in the area as family wanted to eat at grill n chill which is in the same shopping plaza.Flavourless excuse for a Malayan curry.will stick to Ashoka in the future.

Poppadoms & pickles were good as usual. We both had chicken tikka starter, but not the one on the menu, the one reserved for Hariali chicken. I prefer the "normal" one, but my Wife preferred the "other" one ! I went for the vegetarian Thali, which was nice, but I think I prefer meat dishes ! A nice pint, good hospitality meant a pleasant evening for us.

This is a great little place. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed: the staff are welcoming and attentive, but never obtrusive. The food was mouth-watering. My partner had a lovely Goan chicken and I had Rogan Josh with real fresh tomatoes. Both our rice dishes were light and fragrant. To drink we had chilled draught Kingfisher which made a perfect addition to the meal. Thank you Sagar for a lovely evening

We were staying in a nearby hotel in Seaham and had been recommended this Indian by a friend.

My friend and I hadn't met up for ages and she arranged for us to dine here and catch up with each other. What a lovely place this is. The staff were impeccable in all aspects: friendly, smart and attentive. We decided just to order poppadoms and pickles to start - despite a having vast starter menu. Then we opted for a curry each - mine was a chicken tikka masala - my friend had chicken bhuna. We shared a vegetable rice. The main courses took a little longer to arrive than we anticipated but they were definitely well worth the wait (plus we had so much to talk about that the wait didn't bother us too much). I have dined in several Indian restaurants but I have to admit that the food in here is the best I have tasted. I will definitely be returning.

This is my local Indian restaurant and never fails to impress wether you are eating in the restaurant or getting a takeaway.

Having been to this restaurant once before in 2017 with my wife I was keen to revisit with a golf friend who loves Indian cuisine. We duly turned up after a day's golf in Castle Eden. After a warm welcome we were seated and awaited our pre starters. The lime pickle / chopped onion and mango popodum spinner was delicious. Our starters of tandoori shish kebab were lovely.

We like this place, the food is always consistently good. However, on this occasion, I'd say the Balti was different to usual, but actually better ! We struggled to eat everything we were completely stuffed ! I find the onion bhajias too big, i prefer them to be smaller or thinner and more crispy. Still tasted nice though. My wife had tikka chicken starter as a main as she can't manage the normal mains ! Nice pint of kingfisher topped it off.

I've used Sagar on several occasions sometimes as a couple sometimes in a group of up to eight people.the food is fresh and tasty the service is prompt and friendly.takeaway custom does come and go but priority seems to be given to the restaurant customers.I haven't been for a while but will certainly be going back.

Went here with family. Starters and service was ok . But mains (all currys ) were very disappointing ! Maybe the worst we've had . Lacking in any real flavour. Pilau rice was just boiled white rice . And the take away cue right at the door is a bit off putting. Sorry but poor at best this time

This restaurant is literally the best Indian restaurant in the north east. The food is amazing, the staff are really friendly and always happy to help. There's an impressive menu and the do specials on a Thursday & Sunday nights which is great value for money. If you're unsure of what to eat then ask for recommendations- they will ask what types of things you like and make a recommendation based on that - I've asked a few times and Never been disappointed at all. Always book, the restaurant isn't huge and it does get very busy sometimes, they do takeaway too if you'd rather eat at home.

We've had several good experiences here, but tonight's was probably the best. We couldn't manage starters so just had poppadoms and pickles. Mains were chicken shashlick & chicken tikka chilli balti which was excellent. A tandoori roti, nice and crispy the way I like them and a pint of kingfisher made for a very pleasant evening.

takeaway with family on a Sunday evening, took advantage of the restaurant's "5 plates for £7.50" offer (Sunday and possibly Thursday evenings - double heck their menu!)Got a bahdji side (4 in box), chicken madras, pilau rice, garlic naan (bigger than the plate) and poppadoms - it was all pretty good, even more so at this price. will definitely be taking this offer up again next time I'm down visiting

Had a great meal here with 6 friends for aBirthday celebration... chicken pakora was amazing and my main course of chicken tikka was a huge portion and presented well! Will be back!

Food is amazing, really extensive menu choice, staff are excellent, service is spot on. We have eaten here many times, as a family, as a couple, with friends and we've always had the best food and service. If you're not sure what to order just tell them what you like and they'll make a recommendation / they've done this for me several times and I've never been disappointed. They have special menus on Thursday and Sunday and you can get takeaway if you'd prefer. Fantastic place!

Been going here for years and have never had a better Indian meal. The lamb chops are to die for and the chicken tikka chilli balti with a couple of rotis is amazing! Friendly service and would recommend to anyone - been as a couple, with friends and family and always taken care of. Well done and keep up the five star experience!

We’ve been to Asoka several times. We’ve never had a bad curry from Seaham Tandoori & the Harbour Tandoori isn’t bad either. Seaham now has another fully-fledged, excellent curry house with Sagar. Kingfisher on draught is always a winner. The place is generally half empty (similar to Midnight Moon), but based on the standard of food, it’s hard to pinpoint why. It’s not the biggest of restaurants and has the massive East Shore Village on its doorstep. We’d called in after a couple of drinks in the Crow’s Nest and it was around 7pm. Again, there were only 6 other diners. We’d opted for a main each and sides. I got the Thali which is a mix of several dishes. Along with a Lamb Tikka Chilli Masala, we had an excellent meal for 2. The staff are spot on and we’ll definitely be returning.

We first visited this restaurant about 18 months ago when we moved into the area and decided to try lots of other Indian restaurants too. However, having exhausted almost all that we can find we now return to Sagar at least twice per month. The food is the best we can find and you can tell the staff take a pride in it. The staff themselves are always professional and friendly but not over friendly as some can be whilst you eat.I can hand on heart say I've not had a single bad dish served here and will continue to visit regularly!!

Visited sagar for the first time on 25.05.17 and had a fantastic night. I was part of a party of 15 and I couldn't fault the food or service. Sagar have a great special menu with loads to choose from and the portions are spot on. I will definitely be back - it's a hidden gem

Visited this restaurant for the first time last Saturday with my partner.Thought it was going to be just a typical Indian restaurant. How wrong was I! My starter was tikka paneer and it was absolutely delicious. I didnt want it to end. I could fo had that dish again as my main meal. My partner said the same about his starter as well.However we moved onto our mains which were again beautifully cooked and so tastey.They also had a take away service and they were inendated with customers coming to collect their order. Speaks for itself how good the food is and also the service was very polite and caring. I would definately reccommend this restaurant and will be going to collect my take away order next wkend! Drinks on the expensive side if going out for an evening meal but the food is not overpriced for what you get

Visited recently for the first time following recommendations. Restaurant is clean and modern. Staff professional. Following order food was delivered without waiting to long. All food was delicious.Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

Whilst the food is good, don't bother trying to make a reservation as they won't keep it. I reserved a table on Saturday night for 7pm but after being kept waiting 30 minutes we gave up. Night out ruined.

We opted for poppadoms & pickles, as we couldn't manage starters & definitely not the early bird special. My Wife had vegetable curry & I had Chicken Tikka Madras. My wife said hers was as good as it always is, but I have to be honest & say the Madras wasn't as flavorsome as it usually is. Rice & Roti were nice though. Good service & hospitality.

My husband and I took my daughter for a tea time treat. Staff were great, food was even better. I can say that this was one of the best Indian curry I have ever had, the starters main and side were exceptional.Why have we never been before ???? We will definitely be visiting again and maybe even order take-out as well. Highly recommend

We are regulars at Sugar and have never been disappointed.The restaurant is always immaculate, tables always dressed beautifully and little things to notice like nice cutlery and crockery.The staff are very friendly and amazingly efficient, nothing is too much trouble.The food is always excellent !! All the dishes are beautifully presented and garnished. Most dishes from the extensive menu can be tailored to your taste ie hotter or milder depending on your preference. We have visited Sugar as a couple and also as part of a large party and have always been made to feel welcome and have always been impressed with the service and of course the food !!

We had a takeaway from here last night, would of eaten in, but we had brought our dog with us, as we were staying locally for the weekend.What I normally have at home, wasn't on the menu, we did a telephone order and they kindly made this for me, no trouble at all, beautiful food, friendly and helpful people, will deffinately eat from here next time we come to the area.

This was the first visit for us to this restaurant.We arrived a little early about 10 minutes but this wasn't a problem and we were offered a choice of 2 tables.The restaurant was busy but the staff were very friendly and attentive.Nice cosy atmosphere and the service was not rushed.The food was excellent and very nicely presented.Would definitely recommend and will be dining there again.

Called in on Sunday night with friends for evening meal food was very good with plenty of choice service was excellent as usual by friendly staff. Lots of free parking out front.

Once again we have been there this evening, and the whole dining experience was a pleasure. food as always is brilliant, best indian around in my opinion, staff are well mannered and attentitive.Would highly recommend you try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

We went on a Wednesday night so fairly quiet but still a very nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. We liked the decor and ambience in the restaurant also. Food was superb, piping hot and extremely tasty. Will definitely be returning.

got food last night to takeaway...reasonable price was only a total of £13 which is cheap to normal(not complaining) but the kemma nan was tiny, no bigger than my knee cap..was like 4% meat inside.The chips were very nice and got a good portion size, boyfriends half a chicken was like half a leg of chicken if that. I got the normal chicken korma as always chicken was nice but the kormas sauce was lumped and tasteless. Also,the boyfriend lives in Seaham and we collect food and went straight home and it was cold( not just not pipping..more just say warm) felt very let down as people rant on about it, I get an Indians 2 times a week and I will be sticking to Ashoka!!!!

Dinner in Sagar Indian restaurant in Seaham excellent as always you can eat off a set menu Monday - wednesday and Friday and Saturday between 5pm and 7pm or Thursdays and Sundays between 7pm- 11pm for £12.95 getting a starter main ice cream and coffee or eat of the normal menu. We had a mixture of them both and all the food we ordered was excellent.Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Seaham.

Visited on a Sunday evening with wife and friends could not fault a thing.Food was absolutely tremendousStaff were excellentWe ate off the set menu and can honestly say it was worth every penny.Being a lover of Indian food this was by far the best I've had.Well done to all we will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.

This is only a small restaurant but has a great menu, prices are reasonable and the staff a brilliant. We've visited Sagar many times (not thought to leave a review before now sorry) it's great for a meal out as a couple, with friends or as a family we have been under all circumstances and honestly we've never had a bad meal or experience. The food is very tasty and the staff are happy to make recommendations if you're not sure what you want just tell them what you like. We've eaten in other Indian restaurants and paid more and come away pretty disappointed when comparing to Sagar!

Love this restaurant, the food is delicious and plenty to choose from. The service is very good and the guys always make you feel welcome and can't do enough for you. Also offers a takeaway service which is lovely when you fancy it at home.

Food was beautiful. Service was second to none. Overall a lovely meal and very reasonable price. We had 3 course special bargain £12.95 popadoms with sauces rice, curry naan bread coffee couldn't fault any of it.

Was there tonight, I give it 5 stars food was fantastic and the staff amazing,will be back with friends at the weekend , it was that good , you must give this a try if you like top notch food , plenty free parking , give it a try , you won't be disappointed

Visited for a birthday celebration on a Monday evening. The restaurant was quite empty so service was great but the staff weren't overly attentive either. Ordered from the set menu and found this to be great value for money. I think with Ashoka not far away this restaurant could be overlooked as it is tucked out of the way a little on East Shore village but I found the quality and flavour of my meal to be of the same standard you would get at Ashoka. Our party very much enjoyed our meal and will be back soon.

Had a takeaway, which was a spur of the moment decision. I collected the food and the smell was amazing. I was really looking forward to my meal. Unfortunately there were only 4 pieces of chicken and lots of sauce. It was ok but I felt I'd been robbed, maybe I caught them on a bad night

Lovely little Indian restaurant on the eastern edge of Seaham. Our first visit and yes it was worth it! Small and intimate with great service and the food was fabulous. Starters were so tasty that I could have just eaten another! Good sized potions and everything well cooked and the presentation was top class. Staff were attentive without being pushy. We will definately return and next time take friends with us too. Really impressed.

Average food, I was rather disappointed. It's a local restaurant, so I will return to see. It was Christmas time when I visited, that may be why I just found it 'average'. Rice and curry was just too tasteless for me.

Went to sagar restaurant with friends easy parking outside.all four of us had starters and mains,none of us had any complaints about the meals,service,all was tip top will go back

Tasty food, excellent service, excellent value for money. Portion sizes were good. We ordered from the set menu and the food was delicious with decent portions. Three courses, starter, main and ice cream/coffee for £12.95. Clean restaurant with tables set apart allowing for privacy. It was busy with a good atmosphere. Free ample parking outside the restaurant and located near the sea front. Worth a visit. We will definitely be returning very soon. All four of us really enjoyed the food.

This is a first class restaurant! The staff are very friendly as well as attentive. The food is always of a high standard.

Had the 3 course early bird set menu. Food was delicious, well presented and good portions. Excellent friendly service in pleasant surroundings. Would highly recommend

We always get a decent meal here, the set menu is particularly good value. Whilst the onion bhajias are tasty, I find them undercooked for my taste, stodgy in the middle. My wife had a veg badami and I had chicken tikka curry that I forget the name of now, but both were excellent. For reasons I don't know, service was a bit slow, but quite a few takeaways seemed to be going out, so maybe that was why. A nice pint of draught kingfisher to go with it.

Really nice, we preferred the layout to what it was before. Great friendly service, helpful, it was busy for a week night.

Went down for a meal ordered a fish curry with rice but il tell you what the curry i ordered told the chef to male it abit spicy and different il tell you what it was presented deliciously when i saw it i felt even hungrier went for the first mouth full OMG it was so delicious all i could say is yummmyyyy i am very impressed with the excellent service and food highly recommend to anyone and everyone ******

I recently visited Sagar and had a meal from the set menu, the food was lovely, lots of choices on the set menu. It's £12.95 for 3 courses between 5_7, even on a Saturday. The food is good quality and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant.

My husband and myself visited tonight for 1st time. Staff were fab, ambience was lovely. We both had 3 course special menu but only managed 1 1/2 courses. Staff even wrapped our left over mains to bring home as we were so stuffed. We both had bhuna prawns on puri starter which was tastiest we've ever had. I then had a chicken curry with mushroom rice and hubby had lamb roshuni with rice. Both dishes were beautiful. Like i say we brought the remainder home and couldnt manage dessert. Whole meal with 4 rounds of drinks for under £40.00 we will definitely be returning!!!
