Had chicken tikka masala, chicken pakura , onion bhaji ,and they gave me extra cool creamy mint sauce , plz don’t change your recipe on all yr food 10 out of 10 😁

Very enjoyable, this restaurant is consistently very good, every time we're in Durham we go to this restaurant, we have had several take away meals and also eaten in the restaurant and every time it has been fantastic, great menu, very tasty and well presented and very well priced, staff are attentive, and friendly, well done guys we will be back.

By far the best chippy, food is always hot and fresh, staff are always talkative and friendly

Visited last Friday evening for my Son's birthday and what a lovely night we had. Food was excellent, reasonably priced. Atmosphere was great and wasn't overly busy, just nice. Service was excellent and staff couldn't do enough for us. We all had a lovely evening and will definitely dine there again in the near future. Another birthday celebration last night 24/3/25 and another great night. Food was excellent as usual, staff very attentive. Prices are very reasonable, lovely environment and very relaxed.

Indian Cottage is a pleasant takeaway option, although the food quality seems to have changed recently, possibly due to a new chef. That said, the dishes are still enjoyable, and the menu offers a good variety. Prices have gone up, making it one of the more expensive takeaways in the area, but as a long-time customer, it's a case of sticking with what you know and trust. 😊

Without doubt, the best Indian takeaway within a 5 mile radius of Durham City and we’ve tried them all. Good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection.
