Best takeaway curry we have had in a long time. I had chicken naga, it was powerful! My Mrs had the mushroom Jhul which was outstanding. Very good value for money. The staff were friendly.

Ordered from here today and must say the food was 10/10. The dishes were cooked to perfection!! The chef also took into consideration my dietary requirements, will definitely order again.

Where shall I start! I have been eating from this takeaway since it has opened and it is one of the best takeaways in the north east! The chicken naga has got to be one of the best curries and it definitely hits the spot with the spice. The food tastes better every time! The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely food friendy staff ,closes to early

Had chicken Sri Lanka with coconut rice... 8h later I was throwing up my guts in the toilet 3 times per hour with all the curry coming back up mixed with gastric acids... the friend with me took a paneer dish and the cheese was off... all the suspicions are rising about the hygiene of the place... Still recovering on my bed right now... thank you for offering some of the worst 24h I've had recently.

Can’t fault them everything is lovely the only thing I’d change are the chips but hey they don’t make them everything they do make is lovely I’ve had a lot of the menu

We’ve just finished our take away from Alhambra, my husband had lamb dansak and I had lamb bhuna, both were fantastic! The lamb was tender and the curry was exactly what it should be. Highly recommend.

We live in Wynyard and wouldn't go anywhere else for our Indian takeaway! The curries are absolutely gorgeous from here. Always delivered on time and piping hot on arrival! Couldn't recommend enough. Thank you!

Just moved here and thought we would try it based on the reviews. Got to say it was one of the worst I have ever had and now go to one in Norton.

Great curry from here and they always tell the truth about how long delivery will be! Great set of guys.. Highly recommended.

Best curry house around, well done

Moved to Sedgefield around 4 months ago from Newcastle (where we had lots of choice of Indian food) & was worried that we couldn’t find anywhere to match our expectations. So glad we found this place, we have used this place (all deliveries) and they have been absolutely spot on every time. Always comes on time & is mad hot. Slowly working our way through the extensive menu. Keep up the good work Alhambra

Food is always good and staff friendly.

Was recommended by client when Ministers closed which we loved . Food is consistantly perfect . Would highly recommend. No idea what deliverys are like as we always collect from Wynyard . Reasonable price and always happy to take your order . My favourite is the tikka chicken madras with keema naan . Always fresh and good quality chicken . Mince in naan is great . Other purchases are chips and vegetable massala . Again 10 out of 10 . Better the the mass produced rubbish from a nearby restaurant . Keep up the good work lads

We have had many deliveries from here. Always been nice but tonight’s was excellent!! Lamb passandre and chicken pathia. The best so far.

Best Indian food. Especially the dhansak.... moved from the area 9 years ago but still travel there for a takeaway.

It was a beautiful dish and very quick to get here with lots of meals in the order, I would recommend this place to everyone.

Can’t beat Alhambra for a delicious takeaway. Decent prices Great quality food Every Time! Service is tip top! I can’t recommend this place enough even though we live so close to the Cinnamon Spice club and Le Raaj in Sedgefield. Love to eat out at Le Raaj but takeaway from Alhambra every time! You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent takeaway - onion bhaji not greasy and wrapped in a paperbag meant they weren't soggy. Value for money and one of the best Indian takeaway meals we've had.

Been using the Alhambra for sometime now. Always top quality. Like them because there menu is a little different plus the quality has always been good/excellent; never had a duff curry from them. Particularly recommend the Lamb Sag.

The best takeaway in country Durham I have tried their chicken tikka masala chicken tikka Madras and a new dish they have chicken tikka Naga they are all delicious you can tell older food is fresh nothing like microwave food 10 out of 10

Visited last week for the first time and found friendly staff and enjoyed a freshly cooked meal that was delicious and would definitely recommend and will be going back to try other dishes.

There are lots of Indians within 10 mins of this place, but suggest you try butter chicken as it’s lovely

Great takeaway. Food tastes great and it's a great price too. Always hot, never gets an order wrong and everything is always cooked perfectly. I live in Sedgefield and tend to collect my order but the few times I've had it delivered its always been really quick (in fact it gets delivered quicker than the ones nearer to me). Would highly recommend.
