The best restaurants serving Indian food in Barnet London

This is my local takeaway and I’m glad I found it because sometimes you can go wrong when trying somewhere new. Delicious food, made with care and lovely service. I always get the prawn puri it’s fantastic!! Thank you for always being consistently outstanding!!! See you soon!

Spicegate used to be a great restaurant under 2 previous managers, the food was always very good. It's been closed for some time but has now opened up as a take away only. You can order on line and collect or get it delivered. Myself and my wife tried it out for the first time tonight and ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala and a Chicken passanda both with boiled rice with a Keema Nan and Peshwari nan. I collected the food which was lovely and hot when we got it home and the meal itself was excellent. The food was tasty, well cooked and plenty of it, neither of us could finish our meal. We will definately use Spicegate again and wish the new owner every success on his venture and hope the food stays just as it is as it was excellent.

Excellent new take away. The vegetable dishes are superb and extremely well presented. It’s only a takeaway so no sitting in but really worth trying

Did not like the food , which was overpriced. Ridiculous to call it Indian Tapas , as Tapas is traditionally Spanish food. Bonoo Indian Tapas is in Child's Hill in North West London - just so pretentious to declare it is in Hampstead. Child's Hill is in the borough of Barnet . Hampstead is in the borough of Camden. Quite a number of the reviews giving 5 stars have only reviewed one, two or three places ....just saying.

This is THE BEST Indian Restaurant to go to. I have tried a few in the area and every time have thought ‘it’s not as good as taste of nawab’. Not only the food, but the service, is what keeps me from coming back. I am not local to the area anymore but will drive the distance to make sure I have it. Thank you so much Taste of Nawab team ❤️

I was a regular at The Day of the Raj for Over 25 Years and I'm sad to see it gone. It has been replaced with another Restaurant now but that does not serve Indian food.

Booked an early table straight from work as we usually do. Haven’t been in for a couple of weeks and the flavour of the food was like a memory foam and had me questioning as to why we’d left it so long since our last visit. The prices are very reasonable and WOW do they make you feel welcome!!!
